Way overpriced for the quality of the food. Not very good, but not bad either. As a new resident of this town I don't think I'll be returning to this pizza joint unless the others in town prove to be worse. Delivery was timely but I paid $40 food one large veggie pizza and bread sticks-that's it. Also I'm not a fan of putting the toppings on uncooked after the rest of the pizza has been made and come out of the oven. The dough was also underdone and putting the pizza back into my own oven with added cheese still didn't improve much upon it. Also I asked for white sauce instead of red sauce and I noticed no sauce. Sad day. The marinara sauce that accompanied the bread sticks was bad. Plain bad. Ya know, when you're in a strange town & someone says "c'mon, let's go get pizza...we've got the best pizza around..." that's a TALL order. However, while I've heard that many times (& some...um, most, did not not live up to that kind of label), I just smile & nod & let them revel in their current braggadocio. Such was not the case with Bruno's!! They were like a breath of fresh air!! Their pepperonis were put on lavishly thick...as were the other toppings. Not too much sauce. Just enough to make one of the most succulent pizza pies I've ever eaten!! Now, I'm a "meat-lover's" kind-of pizza guy. Worst pizza I've had in my 50+ years. My son and family finally made it home , Army, after 9 years. Spent $100, including tip. Apparently, they sell pizza by the slice. They took a precooked cheese pizza, then added the toppings we wanted, and cooked it again. Over cooked, toppings didn't stick... it was horrible!!! HORRIBLE! First time ordered from Brunos, and last time! 2 large pizzas, bread sticks, and salad. At least the bread sticks and salad were edible. Was supposed to be a treat for my Army son, coming home, daughter-in-law and grandkids.... how disappointing and embarrassing. If my son, and family ever make it back to Pacific Northwest, Longview, they will also never order from Brunos again. I'm going to start off by saying pizza has been ruined for me. I've spent a good chunk of my life living in north jersey and pizza doesn't get better than that. We were visiting Kelso for a softball tournament and decided to try Bruno's. The wings were really good. Only two flavor choices but the hot wings were good. The pizza was good as well. The crust was really well done. I like this type of pizza. It's west coast style thin crust. It's nothing to blow your mind but it's a great option. The crust was fine and it was loaded with my single favorite topping, pepperoni. I gave them an extra star for the internet Wi-fi. Bruno's has the best pizza in Longview, hands down! This is the place I fell in love with the Pepperoni and Pineapple combination. Bruno's pepperoni is unlike any you've ever had. It's sliced really thin and is about half the size of normal pepperoni. I don't know if they cook it before they put it on the pizza but when you order it you'll find that the pizza is topped with a ton of thin and crispy miniature pepperoni that tastes simply amazing with pineapple. My family and I came to the area on vacation and we needed to find a place to eat. I went on Yelp and found Bruno's Pizza and found multiple reviews for great pizza. What we actually had was horrible. The location alone would be three stars but the food was less than desirable. My family ordered two pizzas with extra sauce. The wait was long and when we received the pizza it wasn't hot, it was cooled. On one of the pizza's it had beef and vegetables. The beef wasn't seasoned. We also had a Canadian bacon and pineapple. The sauce wasn't pizza sauce it was tomato paste, and when you order extra sauce that means it's like having a mouthful of flavorless acidic goop. It was quite the disappointment. read more

I like to support local, when I can. I've been driving by this place for a few years, but had always chosen Pizza Schmizza, or Winco around the corner. Today was my birthday, and I was in the mood for some old school pizza - so the family took me to Brunos. I was disappointed. Starting with the customer service, the high price, and the PG-13 TV on in the dining room. The pizza was alright, but not stunning. The tables were clean, as were the utensils, but I just felt like I was a commodity - not a guest. As my wife and I stood by the counter to order, the young man behind the counter, covered with tomato paste splatters (no apron!?}, basically ignored us. The place wasn't busy, but even after I was ready to order, he continued to mess with some mundane task. Finally, on his timing, he took our order - but I had to repeat it three times, even though he was right there as my wife and I made our audible decision, together. The lady giving us our drinks didn't smile, plunked them down on the table, and made no effort to connect with us. Same with the pizza - in fact, she seemed annoyed that we hadn't made space for her to set the pizza down. Meanwhile, in the background, were the obnoxious noises of a business - phones, etc. It was more like a factory atmosphere than a restaurant. The pizza was ok. All the veggies were chopped and the presentation looked like factory prepared food. The tomatoes included the ugly white part of the stem that is usually cored out. And there was no spatula to serve the pizza - and no forks provided. As we left, I turned to my wife and said. Like many small businesses, they keep doing things the same way they've always done it, and wonder why business isn't growing. Some simple changes, that wouldn't really cost anything, would help Brunos step up to the next level. We live in a depressed economy, and it's hard to compete, but Brunos has great potential. Hopefully they'll read this and get on board! In the meantime, I won't be going back. read more

I am a fan, a big fan. In fact, when I was pregnant this was the main thing I craved.Living in Seattle that was an issue, driving 2 hrs (each way) to get a pizza is not always practicable. The ONLY reason I gave it 4* and not 5 is because there are times when I have drove all the way down, got a pizza and it was just, MEH, kinda disappointing. Not sure why that is, what is different that changes it from being OMG amazing to MEH?? Maybe not enough sauce? I dunno. I wish I did so I can make sure it had all needed ingredients to make it OMG AMAZING every time. They have unique sauce, unique crust , if you like thick crust with all the fancy white sauce, chicken artichoke, sun-dried tomatoes foo foo stuff. I love that kind of pizza too but not here.... Even though they could make a good one, this isn't that kind of place. This is for the meat & cheese pizza lovers (although their veggie pizza is yummy too) . I grew up eating Bruno's as a kid, but moved away from Longview at 18...but the memory of the pizza still haunted me. The crust is golden and crisp. You can see them tossing it in the back. The toppings are plentiful and go all the way to the edge. The tomato sauce is tangy and not too sweet or salty. In all my pizza eating experience, it's one of the very best pizza's I've ever eaten. I'm a "Combo" girl. Yes, it costs a little more than pizza hut, or dominos, or those other chains...but the ingredients ARE fresh and the quality is excellent. Gary W... did you ASK for them to change the channel? I am willing to bet there was something else on earlier like a game and the people who work there had better things to do than become the channel police. This is probably really a 3.5 star place, but there is no option for that, and it's not a 4 star. So be it. Standard pizzas and fish and chips (with not outstanding French fries, but at least they're not soggy...my grandfather always got the halibut if we ate here). My brother swoons over this place and their practice of cooking trays of extra pepperoni which they pile up and layer on thickly when you get a pepperoni pie. Thin crust, plain sauce, nothing remarkable but they do pile on the thin pepperoni. Weirdly you can choose between canned and fresh mushrooms if you want them involved in your toppings as well. Lots of locals have what to me is an inexplicable fanaticism about this mediocre pizza, but I don't eat pepperoni and I think that's where the magic is here.
