So, when we first moved to the area, we heard people raving about Bruno's, and thought we would give it a try. We ordered a pizza with two or three toppings, and then waited for it to be delivered. It took probably 45 minutes to an hour for the pizza to make it to our house, all of two miles away, but this I understand. It isn't a chain store like some, and for that I usually give them some slack on the time thing. So, the time to get here, that I could forgive. What I couldn't forgive was the pizza itself. I had read reviews similar to the 5 star reviews on here, I had heard people tell me how good they thought Bruno's was, and I will admit I had high expectations, especially since my pizza favorites include places like Portland's Pizzacato, maker of truly gourmet pizza. Bruno's is definitely NOT on the same level, truly not even in the same universe. The pizza we received was sliding off the crust, was made with low-grade ingredients, and was not even that tasty. Some of the sausage we got truly looked like hot dog cutup and tossed on the pizza. It was a disaster, truly a disaster. My final verdict, if you are craving Pizza in Longview and you don't want to drive down to Pizza Schmizza, call Dominos or Pizza Hut. Your pizza will get there faster, cost less, and actually be edible. read more

We remember Bruno's Pizza and it's owners (John and Becky, and co-owners Ruby and Oscar) from many years ago, when they first opened, and over the years they became our friends and their (John and Becky) children Ruby and Oscar played together as very young kids, they all were great people, the friendliest, warmest and kind people you could ever want to meet, Bill to..(i believe he was Johns brother, a cool guy and very nice man). We just came across there photos in the Longview News paper, we are very happy to see they are all together still and alive and well and very happy looking in the photos. God bless them, we have moved years ago, but still remember them and miss them, they were all great people and have a very nice business, oh, and by the way...their pizza was always the best. thanks you guys !!! read more

Bruno's is the best pizza in Longview! Their pepperoni, especially, is so tasty! Loads of little pepperonis on your pizza. Pepperoni and Pineapple is also an excellent choice. Love the thin crust and the fact that the pizza is not overly sauced. Service is friendly but the dining room is pretty cramped with tables. Not gonna lie, my coworkers were skeptical when I asked about the quality of the pizza here. After I ordered, I thought it was a bit pricey but the quality is well worth it. Keenan made my pizza and he is an excellent chef. The lady who rang me up recommended several different options which I felt was honest and un-biased. Bruno's pizza is located behind the Winco's grocery store and offers an ok pizza to me an awsome one according to my fiance. They do pile on tons of peperoni and the 4 by 4 had lots of other meat on it also. The crust is thin and sauce is light and the pizza is kinda greasy with all the meat toppings. We were passing through and only went here because of the Yelp reviews and the fact that it was late and this place was close by (according to Siri). I probably should have read more of them! I agree with the reviewer who described the dough as probably frozen and the sauce being 'sickly sweet'. It took a long time for our order and then it was only warm when we got it and tasted as if it had been sitting under a heat-lamp. When we walked in to the 'order/pickup' area and told the person at the counter that we'll want a table, we were handed menus to order right there. Then, after a somewhat lengthy "discussion" between two adults and a 7 and 12 year old, and placing our order, we were handed a tray with our drinks which we took to the 'restaurant area' to find our own table. Ok, we're not snobs, but I expect at least to be shown to a table, or even pick my own, and then have a wait-person bring a menu and then serve the drinks and food.
