We stopped by our favorite pizza franchise as we drove home from Cathlamet and weren't disappointed. Our branch in Centralia closed down over a year ago. We've been hoping a new one would open at a different location, but nothing yet. Our favorites are the beef taco and the Rocket. Since there were only 2 of us, we decided to get a dinner salad and 1 small pizza--the beef taco--this round! First off, the prices are not cheap. It was over $35 for a small pizza and small dinner salad, but the quality is great! The salad was fresh and had salami, pepperoni, tomatoes--just to name a few of the toppings. We shared this as our appetizer. The pizza was loaded with lots of freshly shredded lettuce, and as always, a healthy layer of finely shredded cheddar cheese over the whole pizza. It's a pizza that isn't great rewarmed, so we HAD to finish it all (ouch...stop twisting my arm! Haha!) Our pizza was soooo good--just like we remembered! We were the only people in the restaurant, so it was quick service. The restaurant was clean, and so were the bathrooms! While we're were there, multiple people came through the drive through, phoned in their pizza order, and picked up their orders inside the restaurant. It seemed like there is plenty of space for large parties as well. We're so happy that we will have this as an option for pizza as our daughter and her husband are building out this way as we'll be driving by more often! read more

When I called to place my first ever order, it was answered in a tone as if to say I was bothering them. I was put on hold and almost instantly was disconnected. I called back and it was answered as if they were even more irritated with me for pestering them? This was the only place I have seen that offered seafood on their pizza so I continued with a take out order. 1 oyster pizza and 1 shrimp pizza. I went to pay and tried 2 diffferent cards before I was told "we're sorry our internet is not working. the pizza was ready but I had to drive to my bank to get cash (just uner $60) . getting home with the pizza, I see the shrimp pizza just had salad shrimp on it and nothing else except for the standard cheese that comes on a pizza. the oyster pizza the same no other topping just small smoked oysters and minimal amount of cheese. had I known it would be like that I would have had them add some other topping to complete the pizzas. oyster pizza would have been better if it had at least tomatoes and maybe artichoke hearts with a creamy sauce. the shrimp pizza would have been better with at least tomatoes and a nice garlic buttery creamy sauce. Perfect crisp thin crust and loads of toppings. Our only mistake was getting the medium (pep, canadian bacon and mushroom and we added olives) which claims to serve 2-3 but the wife and I could only eat a bit more than half. The leftovers even reheated well in the microwave (all we had access to) the next morning. It would be a sin against the pizza gods to waste even a slice of this. The 1-star reviews on this place are hilarious: my kid lost a quarter in one of the arcade games: one star! Please, folks, don't yelp like that. No beer and no salad here, so plan your take-out accordingly. read more

Hi everybody just wanted to say a few words here I've been a big fan of papa petes from the first time I tried them in castle rock then they put one in west Longview better yet four miles from them they have always been pricey but if you get great service and great pizza you don't say much about the price so we have been cooking a lot at home just to keep prices down not eating out so been about two months we voted on a pizza tonight for dinner I have no idea what papa Pete's has done but everything from the pizza sauce up has changed it was not the same pizza I remembered it was poor quality cheese and sauce it just didn't taste quality in any more I hope they change stuff before I go back or it will be my last time read more

Walked in for lunch, ordered pizza and was told 35 minute wait, despite being the only customers in the store. Three workers busily working on what imagine must have been call in or Doordash orders. After reciting our order to the cashier, she asked 2x if we wanted jalapeños cooked or cold. We told her both times, we wanted them cooked. Our order was called out about an hour later. Pizza temp was cool to barely lukewarm in the middle. Straight outta the fridge Jalapeños were very cold over top of the entire pizza. Not sure why the pizza was allowed to sit on the counter long enough to cool or why our cooked jalapeño request overlooked but the restaurant is an absolute disaster as far as service goes. I paid $68 for a family size pizza, mini cheese pizza for my granddaughter and 3 fountain sodas. The family pizza was $27 per the menu, so still unclear how we arrived at nearly $70 for the total order. I spoke with the shift manager who said the cold pizza was due to an oven setting. Save your money and go else where, costs too much and the three girls (with terrible attitudes) working there make it a nightmare. read more

There aren't many truly good pizza options in Longview/kelso. This is the best so far, and we've tried most of them. They use real cheese and make their crust from scratch which is basically the most natural of options to choose from in this area. If you order tomatoes and bell peppers they come on top uncooked unless you ask for them to be baked and we weren't expecting this but it was SO delicious on a pepperoni and olive pizza. They heaped it with fresh Roma tomato slices. The crust is a 7/10. Soft and fluffy with a crunchy layer on bottom with corn meal dusting. All in all, it's a good pizza. They also have a drive through for all you introverts/people in a hurry/people who don't wanna get out of their cars just because. You can call to order ahead but I didn't see a way to order on their website. They have seating and arcade games inside. Pizzas cost around $25-30ish for the largest size. The prices on the website seem to be a couple dollars different than what we actually paid but I didn't go back to confirm. read more

Awful. Could not rent the upstairs due to "lack of people". The requirement for upstairs is 100 minimum, and we only have 30. This was for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding that is TOMORROW. The manager said that there was no reservations up there for the day, but we still could not go up there. The way our seats were also reserved was all the tables were separated and we could not all eat together. This was my first and probably last time coming here. The staff was not the nicest either in figuring out our food orders. My future mother in law also asked for no tomatoes on her salad and she got lots of tomatoes on her salad. Papa Pete's used to be my favorite place but I have had to find delicious pizza elsewhere. I normally order from the west Longview location but since covid restrictions have been put into effect, it is no longer confident to get to go due to the pick up process that Papa Pete's has decided to go with. I have waited 3 times in line for over 30 minutes for my pizza because there is only one pickup window, lots of cars in line and staff is not bring the pizza out or allowing customers to walk in to pick it up. It is a shame because other businesses have found away to follow guidelines but also make the experience positive by giving good customer service. I have voiced my opinion on fixing the slow pick up process and nothing has changed in 4 months. The pizza is also expensive and the ground beef is processed and gross. For the cost, I would expect fresh ingredients. Hopefully things change! read more

I had my daughter's second birthday party at Papa Pete's today. I found out my grandpa, who is in a wheelchair, would be coming to the party. I ask them before our time slot if we can be switched with another party downstairs at the same time just so we wouldn't have to take him up and down the stairs (because they have no handicap accommodations.) They told us we couldn't because the downstairs was completely booked even though the entire time we were there, the downstairs was empty. Pizza was good. Party area was perfect and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Just the simple fact that they wouldn't accommodate a party with a wheelchair is ridiculous. They could have but they refused. Definitely not coming back to throw anymore parties here because they refused to accommodate us when they could have. read more

I am sorry to say that it was one of the worst pizzas I have ever ATTEMPTED to eat! The tomatoes were unripe and pink. It was inedible. I ended up throwing the fresh but inedible tomatoes away. I love Papa Peters Pizza. Probably one of my all time favs. The crust is perfect and always plenty of great toppings. Staff was friendly. My last visit was to the Longview location. There was a group of kids there running full speed up and down between the tables and climbing all over the place. I'm a mom of two, kids can be excited but this was a little nuts. Were it not for a "meh" beer menu and pizza sauce that is a bit on the bland side for my tastebuds, a 5 star report card would have been given. The meats are great, not a bit greasy.
