I like how there are kiosk to place orders now. It's so easy to navigate and pay, all you have to do is wait till they call out your order. I like how nice and cold it was in there and there are lots of seating available. Nuggets, fries, and tenders were so dry as if it was sitting out. Happy New Year, gang!!! I've been a BIG FAN of Wendy's since my high school dayz, and I used to get a kick out of watching the "Where's the Beef" commercials in the 80's, as well as seeing the Dave Thomas commercials. My new years started off a bit rough as I had to stay up a bit later than normal (3:30 AM to be exact), and when the morning came, I was the poor unlucky sap who had to be "on-call", so I ended up having to go to work on the very 1st day of 2024. Ugh! Lol! While working, I somehow ended up in the Kapolei area, and upon finishing up a job, I realized it was already almost 3:00 p.m., and I hadn't had anything to eat all day long. Unfortunately, a lot of places were closed for the new year, but luckily for me, Wendy's was opened for business! As a long-time fan of Wendy's food, my goto back-in-da-dayz would be those hamburgers with them square hamburger patties, chili, and of course the Vanilla Frosty Dairy Dessert! Yum! Truthfully, I haven't eaten a hamburger or steak in 8 years, since my doc suggested I make some dietary changes - (so I no longer eat red meat.....old people problems! Lol!), but luckily for me Wendy's does do some chicken, so I ended up getting the Grilled Chicken Wrap combo which came with some fries, and a drink. What can I say about my Grilled Chicken Wrap? Man! That Grilled Chicken Wrap sure looked like a burrito! Lol! And that's what my Yelp buddy - Kathy A. said that, too! Lol! Truthfully, the Grill Chicken Wrap was a bit dry........maybe it could have used a bit more sauce as the wrap supposedly had some ranch dressing in it (which I did not see) The fries were good.........and the cool Cola-Cola fountain machine, where you can make/dispense endless concoctions of drinks, was pretty mind-blowing, cool!!! Food was fine, service was great!! Been coming to this Wendy's for a few years now and the food is exactly what you expect from Wendy's.... Decent square burgers and cold frostys. But what I always love is the staff here. They're always friendly and take good care of everyone. Tonight was no different as Ahmad was ready to talk story about the new Don Quijote that opened up next door. Took our order correctly and when he gave it to us made sure again that all was correct. Terrible. I didn't get to order because no one was taking anyone's order at the drive-thru, and this was around 9:30 p.m. I had two other cars ahead, and I had been waiting for a while. The car ahead of me just drove off left, so I assumed they were closed and called to ask if they were open. They picked up. I asked if they were open, and she said yes, but I was like, do you guys not see us in line, cause we've been waiting and no one has taken anybody's order? My favorite fast food place to go to when I'm at work and need something fast to eat. They have the biggie bags which are $7 now but still a good deal. And we also had a coupon for a free small chili with any purchase so it was a good amount of food for two people. I like that the restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. As recent previous reviewers have said, this Wendy's is a flaming hot mess. First the "ambiance..." with K-Mart being closed, the parking lot has become overrun with homeless who oftentimes are congregating near the drive thru. For the most part, they do not bother anyone, but on a recent ill planned visit, there was a whole melee involving homemade weapons which caused me to nope my way the hell home. Then lets get to the illustrious customer service. There is ONE employee there who is wonderful, they're friendly on drive thru when taking your order and you get that same personable experience if they're taking your payment at the drive thru window. The other employees are hit or miss and some scowl at you like you put shi shi in their soda. Then there's the comedy of errors that comes to your orders. On a recent visit, I was given ICE COLD chicken nuggets. I was too lazy to go back, but needless to say, I did not eat the nuggets that had likely been sitting out since morning. Last night, I was given part of my order and then a bag with someone else's order in it. When I advised that it was not in fact my food, they seemed annoyed that I wanted to not take something someone else had ordered (and I had not paid for) and annoyed at the fact that I still in fact wanted the rest of my order. When I got home, I comically found that they did not pack any chili oil or crackers with the chili, but instead gave me three forks to eat it with. The pinto beans in the chili were all also undercooked and were al dente which makes me wonder if they're not actually using canned beans.... Then there was a time I ordered a sour cream and chive potato only to find the sour creams had all expired. Yuck. The next time I'm craving cheap and easy dinner, I'll likely drive an extra mile and go to Kamakana where although out of the way, none of these errors seem to occur. read more

Your Oahu, Hawaii locations are horrible!!! More specifically the Kamakana Auli'i mall location. Food is always disgusting, cold, and stale, the employees and managers lack any type of customer service exhibit horrible infection control and lack any pride in their appearance. They prioritize the drive thru orders and keep the walk-in customers waiting 20-30 minutes. I'm very disappointed and feel there needs to be some kind of quality improvement. My family and I ordered food tonight and it was horrible, the wait was long and we had to hear the manager constantly stating she can't take this anymore while serving our food. This Wendy's is located near the old K-Mart store. Once a month they have a hot rod car cruise in their parking lot. The cruise organizers and car enthusiast all keep the first row open for those only going to Wendy's. My husband and I got the 4 items for $5. Plus 50 Cent Frosty which was very very good. Our friends just settled for the 50 Cent Frosty. The place was packed with a lot of the hot rod Cruisers but the staff at Wendy's we're very friendly and accommodating. They answered questions and got everyone's food out in a very timely manner. read more

This locations drive thru tends to get busy especially during nights where people decide to eat Wendy's after the gym (lol me). I've recently discovered that I am in love with dipping their fries with their vanilla frosty. I decided to to try a new salad which was the Parmesan Chicken Caesar salad (half).
