Came at lunch time and ate inside. There was only 1 person in line, but service was slow, although staff was friendly and got our order correct! We used the coupon deals from the Midweek paper to save some $. A line built up behind us and the drive thru was busy so looks like they do ok! It surprised me that there was a nice self serve fountain area showing what drinks are available, but they actually make the drinks behind the counter. I didn't ask why, but assumed either they don't wanna give free refills or people have taken advantage too much filling their own cups with drinks...hmmm... Food was good & fresh! The establishment is nice & modern. It's very handicap friendly (see pics) & there are men and women's restrooms that need a code to enter (didn't check it out). Friday May 22, 2026 I decided to come here for breakfast as I haven't been to Burger King in a while. Plus, normally I bring home lunch for my breakfast and lunch for the work day. Amazingly, the drive thru was empty. Service was fast as I was the only 1 in line. Lol. The Whopper was neatly made and wrapped nicely too. Someone takes pride in assembling the food. The Whopper tasted good as always. The French Fries was hot and good. Ambiance looks casual and comfortable inside while looking through the window. We stopped by for dinner in late May, my son, and two of his children. They were having a Mandalorian/Grogu promotion for glasses, but they did not have any in stock. That is why we stopped by. #23 for 2020 When the kids say they wanted to eat at Burger King, I thought to myself this is the perfect opportunity to try an Impossible Whopper. A plant based whopper complete with iceberg lettuce, onions, tomato, and light mayo. Don't need any cheese because taste is very filling. Patty seemed too perfect in formation. I personally enjoyed it as a clean tasting burger without the fat, grease and oil. One in quantity was sufficient for my appetite. Great to taste once out of curiosity. DON'T spend extra $$$ ordering the sourdough sandwich. Just go to Jack in the Box where they properly cook things. I went to the drive-thru and ordered the crispy chicken sourdough sandwich. When I got home this is what I opened up, the bread was cold or buttered or even grilled. The cheese wasn't melted or anything. I don't live nearby and I was so disgusted with this that I threw it away. I called the Burger King Customer Service number and they told me to call this location. When I spoke with the BK employee Miller, he informed me they didn't receive an email from corporate regarding a complaint and therefore I'm lying about what happened. A whopper can always make anyone happy, especially if it's paired with onion rings! As we walked in this location was empty, very clean and staff was very attentive to their customers. The cashier helped us make a decision on what to eat because they had a lot of deals going on that day. If you haven't tried the whopper made out of plants, you must try! The only reason we came here was to try the new Impossible Whopper that's 0% beef. It looked and smelt like the real thing to be honest. The issue I had was my bun, the top sesame half was falling apart and the bottom flat bun was kinda on the harder side. Normally I get rid of my bun all together although I used maybe half of the bottom bun for support haha!! The taste of the actual patty was quite meat passable to be honest. It wasn't too moist like a real beef burger would've been but to me it was fine. I would definitely order this again before they discontinue. The place was clean and empty. Based on reviews you would think they only served moldy food. My impossible burger was fine and the lettuce wasn't brown. Fries were a little light on salt but that's not a real issue since you can always add more. The reason for 4 stars is the 'temporarily' but I suspect permanent cancel of drink refills. Also suspect that some sizes are missing from the menu. My 'large' fries were more like a medium. Food was as expected for a Burger King. Price reflects the Hawaii premium, but really isn't that bad IMO. read more

Terrible Burger King location. I tried this location today, but what a waste. I ordered the original chicken sandwich, but it was so salty it was inedible. It tasted like a smoker that can't taste anymore seasoned the sandwich. If we had deer in Hawaii, I could use the sandwich as a salt lick, but the sandwich was impossible to eat with the amount of salt it had. Avoid the BK location. read more

I decided I wanted a burger with the grilled flavor as I hadn't bought one in quite some time. This location was close and although I hadn't been there in quite some time, I remember the Whopper with cheese and fries as being good sized and filling. Boy, was I wrong! After placing my order for a double Cheeseburger with bacon, along with a regular cheeseburger with bacon and fries, I paid and was handed a bag so small I thought they had given me a child's order. I looked in the bag and saw two small burgers, of which could fit in one hand. Couldn't find the bacon although there was some flavor but this wasn't what I was expecting. The Burger King brand is a scam pure and simple. To make matters worse, I get home and one of the top news stories is that Burger King is being sued in a class action lawsuit for false advertising. Burger King tried to get the lawsuit dismissed however, the judge ruled the lawsuit has merit and it is moving forward. I'm done with them and will never spend another dollar at any of their outlets. I've heard McDonalds is taking the same path, shrinking their burgers, I don't know if this is a path with Wendy's however, for now I'm done with by these fast food burger joints, a huge waste of money. I'll pay for a good size quality burger, not a problem, but these thieves ( their corporate owners) they can go pound sand. No wonder this location looks deserted most times I drive by. I used to get my burger fix at HI''s Steaks @ Foodland Farms and the burgers were pretty filling but cost more, so I'll have to shell out more money but at least I won't be disappointed and still hungry like I was after eating here. Just went to Burger King in Kapolei last night to try their soft serve. It was great except that while we were enjoying our food, I noticed that one of the employees was picking fries from warmer.....AND EATING IT!! At first I thought she was cleaning the bits that had fallen on the sides but then I saw her pop them in her mouth and eat it. She did it so many times that I was able to catch her with my camera phone. Look at the 2nd pic posted!!!!!!! Don't know how they got certified as a food establishment. The popularity of franchised fast food outlets is generally not their gourmet offerings, instead it is their consistency of product. Theoretically, you should be able to have identical or at least similar food items from the same name brand outlet. The Burger King in Kapolei is no exception in this regard. However, what will cause me to return to "my local" Burger King is cleanliness. VERY RUDE YOUNG GIRL AT DRIVE THRU SPEAKER!!! Very bad customer service!!! I Pulled up to the drive thru, the car before me order was still on the screen. So I sat and waited patiently a minute and no one said anything so I say hello? Rude young girl on the other end sounding sassy like I'm bothering her. Anyway, I put in my order, everything was correct on the screen. Got to the window, handed my debit card to worker (it wasn't same girl that took my order over the speaker because this was a much older woman), on top of that she didn't repeat my total cost or order or anything for that matter. I received my card back with the receipt rolled around it. I was asked to go park on the side to wait for fries and onion rings. Waited for around 10 minutes or so. A different lady came out with my order, she repeated my order although this time she said five whoppers instead of the 3 I ordered. I told her it was incorrect. She said, I'd have to go back in and talk to the manager. I was wet being just coming from the beach, my grandkids were in the car wet as well. I told the nice lady, it's ok I'll just take the extra whoppers. I should have looked at my receipt at that time. When I got home I looked at my receipt. I was charged for 8 whoppers of which there were 5 in the bag. Mind you I only ordered 3!!! The fries and onion rings that I supposedly were waiting for were very cold!!! When I got home I checked the receipt, it was all messed up the way everything was charged on it. In total, I was charged $67 when my order on the screen read $45. Someone trying to pocket extra money?? I absolutely called the manager! She was polite although not understanding me and not speaking English very well. She did ask me to go back for a refund and took my name down. I have other opinions about this place that are not very nice so I'll keep them to myself.
