I've been a little obsessed with ordering the FIFA Meal lately because I'm collecting the limited-edition cups, and it's been so much fun seeing which design I get each time! On this visit, though, the hash browns weren't quite up to the usual standard. They weren't as crispy as I normally expect and tasted a bit older and oilier than usual. Everything else was fine, but I was a little disappointed since the hash browns are usually one of my favorite parts of the meal. I'll definitely be back to continue my cup collection and am hoping the hash browns are back to their usual crispy, fresh quality on my next visit. read more

The WORST excuse of a McDonalds Franchise! First they got my order wrong through the drive through..... I asked for double fries, they gave me double apples..... I asked for Honey Mustard Sauce, they gave me Tangy BBQ. Then the person (Mahu) at the window directed me to go park in the stall to wait for my fries. I had seen that there were already 3 other cars parked there. Everyone sat patiently waiting for their order. 15 min went by and I decided to walk into the restaurant to see what was going on..... there was absolutely NO URGENCY for them to follow up with the cars parked out waiting for their orders. There was a man in front of me that had asked for his Filet o Fish, he told the "manager" that he had been waiting 20 minutes for his burger. I interrupted and said all I was waiting for was fries, which by the way had already been made and ready to be bagged. This is the best part, when I asked for a manager, "Mailani" I think was her name on the badge. She said "I'm the manager"..... I told her, "did you guys forget about us parked out there waiting for our orders, cause it didn't seem like there was any kind of urgency", then "she" (?) made an excuse of Some sort, and let me tell you..... the SASSY looks coming my way. terrible service! this location caters too much to the drive through! I work at jack in the box as a second job on the side. prima job Home Depot when I work at JIB and we're swamped, we make orders for both inside and drive through even so one side isn't neglected. As soon as someone walks in, one of us stops and addresses the customer and helps This location just puts the drive through as the primary and totally ign the customers who walk in! like jeez Christ! ordered a sundae and they put it in a cardboard cup that's filled to the top and easily spills! and one customer found out after the drive through they forgot six items! The staff and Management do a horrendous service at double checking to make sure everything that the customer ordered is there if you want better McDonalds service go the one near longs drugs or in the kapolei Walmart! Let me start off by saying that all the 1 star reviews are true. Service was terribly slow, for my order at least. Lady at the drive-thru told me to wait in stall 1 and they will be right out. I park and watch all these cars go in and out with their food for 10-15 minutes! I was thinking to myself something was wrong, so i went inside. I went to the dude at the counter and told him i been waiting for my order, he leaves and doesn't come back for several minutes. I talk to him again about my order and he asks me "what was your order?" ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! I gave him my receipt and found out THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT ANYTHING TOGETHER YET! Good thing i went inside otherwise id be waiting in my car for a lot longer. SMH. Oooo but it gets better...after the food gets gathered i tell the gentleman "thank you" and he basically just plops the bag on the otherside of the counter rather than hand me the bag. Awesome! This is not "fast" food at all. If you're in a rush and need something quick, this location is not a good option. Expect to wait 10 minutes to order and another 25 minutes to get your order. It was like they made every order as it came in. Food was hot and good but the service was terrible. Do not go here. I've never had a worse McDonald's experience and unfortunately there were a dozen other people in there with the same or worse experience. I put a mobile order and presented to the counter, which was what I selected. Red flag there were 20 other people waiting at the counter. There is no list showing order numbers being prepared. After 10 minutes someone complains about their order missing something or waiting there for almost an hour, at which time they use the excuse they have folks in training and try to prepare that selected meal. One guy had been waiting for an hour and hadn't been acknowledged yet. When enough of us were fed up and asked for refunds. The woman says I have to use the app to get a refund for my purchase. I ask if they even are aware of my order. She says my order was a drive through number and doesn't exist. She couldn't find my order in existence even though I hadn't canceled it and was showing her my electronic receipt. She again says I have to use the app to get a refund so I leave the mess. When I look online it specifically stated to go to the location you ordered and get a refund through them. I'm never coming back here and unless you want to wait for an hour I would recommend you don't go either. read more

This is hands down the worst McDonald's I've ever been to -- and unfortunately, I've been here multiple times since it's close to my home. Every visit reminds me exactly why I dislike coming here. ‍ The most consistent issue is the drive-thru. Almost every time, they have you park and wait in a stall for your food no matter how big or small your order is -- even when there's no line in the drive-thru. It's common to see 5-6 cars parked and waiting, and it takes at least 7-10 minutes minimum before anyone brings out your order and sometimes I even wait longer. What's worse is that the food is often wrong or missing items, and the staff aren't friendly. It's frustrating because this location is also one of the most expensive McDonald's on the island, yet the service and accuracy are consistently poor. I really hope management steps up to improve this location because it's in such a convenient area, but right now, it's just a disappointment every single time. read more

Ordered at 11:23 am. Got my drinks and was asked to park in ANY OPEN STALL and I would be found. The drive thru stalls were all full with cars waiting so I parked in the pick up stall. Switched when a car pulled out. They send an older woman out and poor thing is so confused as to where her package is supposed to go with no help whatsoever. I'm sure she delivered some wrong and people respectfully just drove off hopefully with people being honest about it actually being their order because there is no way to verify based on observation. Even who looked like the manager with a headset came out to deliver more and looked just as confused. Very disorganized. It's now 11:45 and I'm waiting in the drive thru stall when I get 4 snack wraps and was told nothing not a thank you for waiting or sorry for the wait or have a good day. Nothing. In addition keep in mind my order is 3 snack wraps not 4. And I am now missing my chicken bundle. I have my toddler in the car so I decided to wait a little more when finally after 11:50 decided to go in for the rest. Again no apologies they just made it quickly and I was finally on my way. The inconvenience and wait times as well as the service, I couldn't see returning again. Please value your time, there is another McDonald's up the road by longs in Kapolei. Customers are clearly this location's lowest priority. Corporate should visit this restaurant in person and experience the neglect firsthand. The new design seems purpose-built to let staff disappear into the back and ignore the dining room--and this location exploits that feature to its fullest. When employees here do emerge from the dark kitchen void, they keep their heads down and scurry past with impressive determination, clearly hoping to avoid any chance of having to help a customer. God forbid someone didn't receive all their food. Or needs salt for a meal going cold. Or--truly audacious--our request for the bathroom code. Fifteen minutes at the register. Seven staff members rushing by within two feet of us while staring intently at the floor. And no, this wasn't busy. This wasn't chaotic. This was deliberate avoidance. I ordered 2 fish sandwiches and both were burnt and hard like a rock. I don't know how someone can prepare this sandwich, look at it and actually think it looked good. Plus it took so long for my order to come out. I had to park in a stall and wait for two cheeseburgers and two fillet o fish. Then I tried to call the store and it has a generic answering machine on. Sounds like you're calling someone's house. I've been calling for 35 minutes now and it keeps going to that machine. I left one voicemail but not even sure if a real person will call back. Worst McDonalds on the island!!! I don't understand how I was waiting 20 minutes for ONE snack wrap! There was four other people in the restaurant. One lady who waited 15 minutes for somebody to take her order on the rest of us were waiting 20 minutes for our food. The lady behind me only ordered an apple pie. My food and another guy's food was already made, but no one brought it to us. It was just sitting there so by the time I got my food it was cold. After about 20 mins and employee comes outside with a bunch of orders but has no idea where to take them... she keeps handing orders to the wrong customers. Finally after about 30 mins total I go inside to ask where my order was... There were 5-6 people all waiting while the manager just stands there trying to package the food...instead of being a good leader they just tell their employees to handle the issues instead of dealing with it themselves. The bathroom was dirty. The seat looked like it was stepped on with dirty shoes. I ordered and asked for fresh fries, I got my meal and the fries was cold and stall. I've been a customer of McDonalds for over 55 years. This place was the worst I've experienced. With the possible exception of the managers on duty, the staff was indifferent and more interested in chatting with each other. The tables were not wiped down after the previous diners, the dining room was plagued by flies. The insect trap near the main door was either not turned on or just not working. Homeless individuals came in and just sat down at tables. I recognize some of these issues may be beyond the control of the staff, but it seems like most of them just don't care and the managers are overwhelmed. The franchisee/owner should take note and do better. read more

Seems like the prices here are a lot more than other McDonald's. We went to the drive thru. We asked to upgrade the drink for the meal to an iced coffee. We clearly said Medium , but got charged for a large. When we got our food, our fries looked under cooked. Boycotting this location. I did curbside pickup since I had 2 kids with me, and thought it would be easier than drive thru (and my baby was getting fussy). Waited 20 minutes and no one came. Ended up going inside with the 2 kids, only for the lady employee to tell me "I was just about to go to your car" and hands me half my order and walks out to door...so I followed her thinking that she had the rest of my order. Nope. She delivered it to the other car also doing curbside. I went back into my car thinking she'd deliver the rest of it. So I waited a few minutes and no one showed. Dragged both kids back inside and told her I'm still waiting for the rest of my order. Come to find out, it wasn't even ready. At this point my baby is crying. And I'm just over it. She eventually gave me the rest of my order. No apologies. No customer service. Nothing. Never coming to this location again. Oh and a happy meal is over $8. $8!!! read more

Ordered a Bacon McDouble, got the wrong order, waited in line where their is no one at the register to help you for a few minutes, the manager finally came out and was very friendly however, she still gave me the same wrong order. I didn't want to wait again so gave up and ate what I got but, the wait is extremely long! Not sure if they're understaffed but they seem very unorganized and the employees doesn't seem to know what they're doing. I felt like I was purposely ignored and not even acknowledged that I was standing there for quite some time. Yuck!.... I went here for breakfast. I'm a huge fan of the Sausage McGriddle with Cheese. I'm also super picky about my hash browns, and so that first bite I always take reluctantly as that usually makes or breaks my opinion of the meal. In this case, the hash brown was perfect! It was super crispy on the outside and it was soft on the inside. I was really satisfied from there. Then I tried the Suasage McGriddle with Cheese. It only took a few bites until I found something hard. It was a hard or stale part of the bread. I thought, "maybe it's a fluke" and kept eating. Then the meat was hard and more hard bread. Then I looked at the meat and was disgusted. There's this hard ring all along the edge of the meat. I couldn't even finish the sandwich, because it's probably going to make me sick. I've given this particular McDonalds a lot of chances, and every time I come back I'm great disappointed. I am going to add this particular restaurant to my list of restaurants to never to return to. No stars if I had my rating.Ok let's start with a nice morning with breakfast with family before we part our ways to work. We walked into this McDonald's and is greeted with a cranky old person who got out of the wrong side of the bed. She glared at us like a fierce dragon and said , "what you want!! " (if looks can kill!) We placed our orders and sat down. Soon she delivered our tray of food by slapping it down on our table and went back to her den behind the counter. While eating our expensive breakfast,we observed her treating the other customers just the same. It doesn't matter what age you are. This (MANAGER) Angie needs to retire and stay home with her spouse and yell at him instead. All in all, she needs an attitude adjustment.
