If I could give them zero stars I would. I went to order 4 medium mocha frappes for my work week and this is what I got. 3 of the four cups were filled halfway and the other one was in a small cup. When I questioned the lady at the drive thru she said all were medium and closed the dark tinted window on me leaving me speechless. I paid almost $6 for each of these...are you kidding me??!! Simple drive through order: ranch snack wrap and a medium order of fries. When we got up to the window, AFTER paying, we were told that they did not have any cheese for the snack wrap and was that okay? As we were in a rush, my husband said okay before I even had a chance to answer. They gave him our order bag and we drove off. Upon looking into the bag, there was a snack wrap but NO MEDIUM FRIES Stopped to park this time. Went in. I am disabled therefore I drove up to the drive up order station and asked "where is my order?" Someone told me that it's not a curbside order!!! Say what??? By far the worst fast food experience I have had on island. Went through the drive through and told to pull into parking spot 3 to wait for our food. Ordered a happy meal, 2 medium fries and two pies. After waiting for a good 15 minutes we finally got our Happy Meal but forgot our fries and pies. 3 or 4 other cars came and went after us. Ten more minutes go by & all the cars who came after me were getting their orders fast, no wait. Then comes the older lady with my order. She hands it to me & walks away. I check the bag & there's no pie. So I walk into the restaurant with my receipt & there's a male customer standing at the unattended register waiting for someone to help with his order. He was waiting awhile he said. So I step up to ask a worker to get my pie. An older short female worker appears & only asks the customer ahead of me what he needed. He told her he been waiting for his order he submitted at the kiosk. She doesn't even acknowledge me & goes to get his order. Mind you, I'm standing at the register where I can fully see there's a total of 4 workers (including the manager) only assisting the drive thru orders still! Never once looking at the dine-in side--WTF?! The woman comes back to give the guy his order & he tells her, "Ok go help this lady (pointing to me) she's been waiting long time too!" Why only 4 stars, because today car in front at drive thru was a problem customer, long time to place order, long time to pay, and complaining at the pick up window. Observe server handing customer a ice cone in the plastic tray holder and customer saying she didn't order it, then showing server her receipt and discussing something about it. So 2 minutes later when I get up to window, server tries handing me a melted ice cream cone, explained what I observed so he made me a new cone. First off my wife and I wanted to get a simple meal a little after 1000 on the breakfast menu. We ordered and after about 10-15 minutes or food wasn't delivered so I went to the counter to see if there was a delay. I was then told they ran out of the items we ordered and would need to ask for a substitute. No one called us and just kept us waiting to solve this problem. When I asked for the substitute they gave us the wrong item. We also never got the food delivered to us even though we selected dine in and instructions were to deliver to us as stated on their own placecards. My biggest issues was not being properly compensated as we didn't get the same value of what we paid and feel robbed at that point with no second thought. Placed a mobile order. Went to pick up, parked in the pickup stall, entered my number and waited patiently. I watched as other customers pulled up after me, got their order and left. I've been going to McDonald's since I was a kid, and know what is on the menu. Unfortunately, I came here for the Special Taro pie, which I was told they ran out. The pie went up in price due to inflation...$3.69each. I had to settle for Apple pie which was about $2.50each for a fried pie. That's disappointing cause it was past it's freshness time, and was stale and not crispy. I believe it was an hour past its pull time. This McDonald's is located across Homedepot and Costco and has heavy foot traffic. It's sad that the quality of the food went down, and the prices went up. Another thing, it convenient to have open restrooms, but at least make an attempt to clean it. It smells bad (urinate smell) and needs to be tidy up some. I think management should step up and make some changes to improve food quality and cleanliness of restaurants. To be honest, I don't think I going eat here anymore and use it's facilities. Did a big mobile order and when it came the nice gentleman informed us that they had to make more taro pies (which would take 10 mins) or switch for apple. Today we (me and my son) left the pediatrician's office and headed straight for McD's, and this is after the pediatrician said not to eat junk food and at the rate that my son is gaining weight, he will be 300 lbs in high school...haha. OK. At the rate that I am gaining weight, I predict I will be 285 lbs in the next five years, and McD's is helping us reach our goals. This location is right off the main drag strip across from Costco Kapolei, The Home Depot (hungry contractors no doubt) and near the family courts (ravenous judges) and the same panhandlers that hang out at their specified locations day after day (begging for money can sure make you super hungry as well). The interior was really nice and hip and spiffy looking but man, there were flies in here! Bzzzzzzzztt! I saw some of them fly in when the sliding glass doors opened...ah, that's where they are coming from, across the street from Costco! The flies know where all the good food is, apparently, either that, or Pandhandler Joe is laying by the door outside and sending his minions into the restaurant for some snacks. The other thing that tripped my mind was having to ask for napkins as they are behind the counter - most likely the judges in this location steal them by the handfuls. The guy making my sundae got strawberry sauce all over his hand and made the whole thing sticky...then proceeds to give me a packaged fork and knife with my sundae...hmm what kind of illegal substances may be clouding your mind today, my friend? When he wasn't looking, I asked another worker for a spoon. I didn't want to hurt his feelings. One good thing about this McD's were the sliding glass doors and the antibacterial wipes by the door.
