I rarely do fast food reviews because it's fast food. You shouldn't expect much. With that being said, it's a nice day today and I thought I would stop by Wendy's and get a chocolate frosty because why not. This one was nearby. There was a line at the drive-thru, so I decided to park and go in. The fact that there were no other cars in the parking lot made me think I was going to be in and out. But no. Once I'm in, I'm ignored for a while. I'm going to give them the benefit of a doubt and say it was likely because they have a self-service monitor in front of the register. No problem except the monitor wasn't working. Someone eventually acknowledged me. I informed her that that the monitor wasn't working (there were two actually and neither worked). She stepped away to let someone know. Eventually, the person that I believe to be the manager came up and gave her access to the register. What should've been an In-N-Out ended up being an extended time. Thats not the reason for the review. The cashier was pleasant. However, the manager that came up had the RBF going on. She appeared bothered, annoyed even. So yes, 2 stars in keeping with the current Yelp rating. read more

I have always been a Wendy's fan. But this time food was cold and order was wrong. Never had an issue but I guess it's time to move on

This is absolutely the worst excuse for staff and service at any level at any location.. I refuse to ever spend another dime at this location. I'm not sure what is going on in this part of town, but every late night place seems to have no regard for service or preparation of food. If you don't want to work there. Quit. If you can't prepare fresh food. Close the doors. Before I start closing them for you. It only takes a call to the health department or the local news channels. However, I blame the management. If someone at the level of a manager was overseeing this kind of service or food leaving an establishment, they certainly would not be on my payroll. And shouldn't be on yours. Because it's obviously clear as day, they aren't doing their job. Sadly, it take a manager to make sure the establishment runs clean and efficient with presence of a superior, but a good manager would easily be able to not micromanage if she/he set the standards and all knew that this is what's expected. STANDARDS. If by chance I find myself served what I was served this evening at any one of these poor excuse for food suppliers, I will immediately go to the hospital, have my stomach pumped and call an attorney. This needs to stop. Not only are your prices completely unacceptable for the quality of food you serve on a good day, but given the results this evening, it had to have been a real bad day..and they should have paid me to eat the food. Because I couldn't do it without a dare. you have a lot of nerve serving food to the public at all.. I think it should be reported to the health department about all the local restaurants in this area to clean up or shut down. Personally, it starts with management incompetency and trickles down to the disrespectful employees given the easiest of tasks to complete, yet fail at even preparing a burger or packing a bag. Yesterday, I tried their Sausage and their Bacon English Muffins. They were awful, mainly because the English Muffin was raw. That is, neither were toasted, so they were just spongy bread, and not very tasty. Today, I tried their Biscuit. Ordered one Bacon, one Sausage, but when I got to work and opened them, they were both sausage. They were better than the English Muffin, although not extraordinary. If I Could give zero stars I would. This location has the rudest, laziest employees I've ever experienced. Two girls were sitting in the door way to the restaurant smoking tonight. Male who talked to us at the window was incredibly rude. Closed the window on us while we were trying to ask him a question. Just yesterday made me finally realized how out of touch they are compared to other fast food burger places. This particular location gives you stale or overcooked fries. Other then that the cheeseburgers are usually good here like most other Wendy's. I think the "bang for your buck" at Wendy's in general is really lacking. Comparing to Whataburger they give you a large (or what I call a large) and a good portion sized fries unless you ask for a large drink or fry. Wendy's charges you over 8 dollars for a number 1 combo with a SMALL drink that's for a 6 year old and same goes with the fries. The entire "small medium large" crap is terrible marketing. Seriously Wendy's if you want to be successful charging these kind of prices you probably should look why Whataburger is making money are you are just making it like Burger King. It's probably not a good idea to come out with a new menu item every 2 weeks either. read more

I answered a survey because I found two small pieces of metal packaging (?) when I bit into my hamburger. It should have been a cheeseburger but let's leave that out of this. Within a couple hours the manager is this Wendy's, Yasir, emails me to invite me back so they can make it right. He acknowledged I reported a foreign object but he didn't inquire about it nor did he offer an explanation. So, no Yasir, I do not want another cheeseburger with no cheese and metal shavings. Also, your employees are REALLY unhappy and it shows. The level of apathy to literally, two days in a row, just give zero f*cvs to put the cheese a customer paid for on a patty of meat? They are at Level 1,000,000. I worked drive thru in high school a couple or so decades ago. I get it. A lot of customers are the definition of scum of the overly-entitled-people. Still, aren't they paid to fake being pleasant? I sure was back then and all for $4.25 an hour! This location is so convenient when I want to give into a junk food craving but I don't care to eat metal or deal with the saddest group of employees I've seen in a long time. The food was old and cold & I wasn't given a receipt to properly return the awful food, even though she recognized me as a customer AND KNEW when I bought it BUT she STILL refused to remake my order, which I brought back in the same Wendy's bag! She stated the Manager needs the receipt. This is the second time in a row I have received poor quality & old food. The employees working here are brain dead! Ordered a ghost pepper chicken sandwich and ended up getting a regular dry chicken sandwich with nothing on it. No ghost pepper ranch and nothing else. I have to get this location 5 stars today because they were on point unlike the last time I was there there was sought on my fries my salad came as ordered they were very friendly an overall Great experience in the drive-through today . So, on Fri., 02/04/2022, at approximately 7 pm, I went to the Wendy's located @ 7700 N. MacArthur Blvd Irving, TX 75063. The insult to injury of all of this was the fact that the Dallas-Fort Worth area was just subjected to a snowstorm which made the temperature extremely cold and the streets extremely (and dangerously) slippery. Nonetheless, my food order was super simple. I wanted 4 Double Stacks with only: lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese, and a large french fry. When I checked the food, there was no cheese on any of the four burgers. So, at this point, I'm fairly annoyed because I was very specific about my order, I repeated my order three times because it was repeated back to me incorrectly, the window worker in question had an attitude, the car line was long and slow-moving and, now the order was wrong. I pulled back up explain that my order was wrong. The stink attitude window worker (a/k/a "Wendy's Boy") replied angrily "What was wrong about it?!". I explained it was missing cheese and as I told him why I'm annoyed as well as the fact that my fries were going to get cold while the correct food was being prepared, he cuts me off in mid-sentence and "stinkily" tells me to "pull up". I pulled ahead of the line and activated my hazard lights to help identify my car. I waited there for ten minutes before I eventually pulled back around and rejoined the line. I waited another five minutes before the window worker finally opened the window, snatched the bag from me and slammed the window closed. He then reopened the window and stated "You can keep the fries! They're remaking your food now!" as he handed the bag of food back to me. Another car waited exactly where I previously parked (ahead of the line) and I watched as this same window worker brought that customer a bag of food, reentered the building, and gave that customer a second bag as I proceeded to wait another seven-plus minutes before I was finally handed my food. Minus the hot fries in place of the now cold fries, I had from waiting throughout this ordeal. When I expressed my issue with how I was being treated, he gets more of an attitude with me for wanting hot fries for my trouble of waiting for my food to be correctly made that he admitted he took the initial order for. He wrongly and disrespectfully told me that I lied about what I initially ordered. Mind you, I repeated it at least 3x. This Clownshoe then proceeds to slam the windows to the drive-thru window in my face at least twice while I was in mid-sentence after telling me that he was on the clock and "doesn't have time to argue" with me. Talking about I waited until they're about to close to order food. No! I'd been there since 7 pm getting wrongly made food and waiting for it to be fixed. The irony of it all was had the order been taken correctly by him and been made correctly, I wouldn't have had to return to have the order remade correctly in the first place. So after this "Wendy's Boy" tells me multiple times that he "doesn't give a f--ck" and invites me to "wait" for him when he "gets off from work"; this was when the manager walked over to investigate what the commotion was about. The sad thing is that I didn't even ask for anything "extra" for my inconvenience. Not a free drink. Not a free treat. Nothing of the sort. Just hot fries to go with the food order that was remade because my order was initially taken incorrectly. By HIM! I didn't choose Wendy's to give my hard-earned money in exchange for this! This guy TRULY represents the Wendy's brand? He is a putrid, vile disgraceful stain for a brand like Wendy's as well as a potential legal liability waiting to happen for the Irving/MacArthur location and, the company overall. Once again, I commend the manager that night for being personable, professional, patient, and kind. It is sad and certainly NOT HER FAULT that she had to endure this 'wannabe thug' as a subordinate on her shift! You could tell she was embarrassed for having to even address this incident because of this unprofessional, self-absorbed, prissy moron. Why even work for Wendy's if you TRULY..."don't give a f--k" like you said over and over again? Let someone who needs a job that cares about customers and know how to follow simple instructions take your nasty, incompetent place. Go find another job elsewhere. Go clean sewers with the other rats. You'd love it! The owner of this location (Wendy's located @ 7700 N. MacArthur Blvd Irving, TX 75063 ) should be ASHAMED to have someone like THIS GUY working there! Once again, I commend the manager that night for being personable, professional, patient, and kind. I don't go to Wendy's for attitude. At 9:05 am they didn't want me in the dining room yet, opened at 9. And a few employees treated me with disgust that I entered the dining area. I arrived at the drive thru at 9:40 PM on 5/15/2023 and was asked to park after paying for my meal. If I knew they were going to ask me to park then I would of cancelled it but she took my card and my money first. 20 minutes go by after being parked and they never brought out my food, they completely forgot about me. I go back inside to ask for help and nobody knows my order or is able to help me. I wait around for 10 minutes and just leave when I realize nobody is helping me only to have a manager follow me back to my car and ask me again what my order was. I did not have time to sit around and wait for them to refund me or make me a new meal, I was in a hurry and had to return to work for my lunch break. I'm not sure what it is about this Wendy's but go inside to order. They get your order wrong every single time, usually on a few levels, so you'll have to go inside either way to get it corrected and they are not happy about it if you tell them in the drive. Probably one of the only Wendy's I've been to that has a great design, located in a nice, although high traffic area that has quite arguably the worst lunch time service I've had the displeasure of having to experience, not once but pretty much on each visit as of late. The "manager" does but have a welcoming demeanor for working the front counter. Each time I've visited, she's constantly holding casual non-work convos and laughing it up with the workers instead of paying full attention or allowing them to as well to the patrons so they are able to get the orders together in a timely and clear fashion. The location itself is clean and the food I have no issues with, just wish this store would work a little more on its presentation of professionalism, at lest during the lunch hours as I can't comment on the later shift since I've never visited at that time. read more

This may sound weird, but I heard that Wendys had great hamburgers for a fast food restaurant. So, a friend and I went during our lunch break to test it out. Surprisingly and sad to say, it was very good. We stopped eating at Wendy's a long time ago and trying it again, we never understood why. Maybe they upgraded their ingredients, came up with new recipes? Whatever they did, they did a hell of an upgrade. We tried their "ghost pepper fries" or whatever they are. It was smothered in cheddar and jalapenos/peppers and it was pretty good. The interior is like any other fast food restaurant like McDonalds, etc. Although, I wish there were machines to dispense your drinks (they have the electronic ones where you have a lot more variety of flavors). We were glad to confirm that the rumors are true, Wendy's burgers are pretty damn good for a fast food restaurant. read more

This is the best Wendy's I've been too, orders come out really fast and the employees are really nice

I work at McDonald's and I know it's frustrating to have a lot of orders and even with them being customs I know it gets bad but that doesn't mean you can just grab the food without gloves who knows what you had been doing before making the order. I visited last week during lunch rush, I was just going through the drive thru for a quick salad on work lunch break. I found a long line which took about 15 minutes to get through. They didn't have the 2 window system working so the pick up window also had to take the payment which seems to slow down the whole fast food experience.
