Hands down the best wendys i have ever gone to. Because of the constant rush too, their stuff is typically made fresh. I don't usually get fast food but if I were too, this was the place for me. I rated it a 4 however simply because service isn't always consistent. Go any time between 11:00 and 7:00 PM expect long line that don't move. Since its opening in 2003 it has always been slow. I work next to it and usually skip lunch due to the ling lines for just average food. The average wait just to order during the rush hours is 20 minutes just to order. Another 5 to 10 minutes to receive it. Thats is unacceptable. The counter arrangement and drive tru are poorly designed for efficiency. I just ate the day before at the Monkey Pod in Kapolei and was eating my main course in less than 20 minutes. Totally different feeling. Arguably the best fast food joint on Oahu -- I almost look forward to the days when I have to take our car in for service to a nearby dealership, or pick someone up from the airport, because it creates a good excuse to have lunch at Wendy's. Why aren't there more Wendy's on the island? The food is consistently hot, fresh, tasty, with real ingredients and good variety to choose from. Good value for the money, especially considering we are in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Friendly, efficient service too. Everytime (never fails) when I go to this Wendy's location, the wait in the drive-thru is at least 20 minutes or longer. I'm really not sure why the service is so slow in the drive-thru as it seems like there's at least always two (2) people working it. SERVICE SUCKS! I had problems from before I even ordered & even after I got my order! First of all, when I drove in front of the speaker to place an order, I waited for 2 minutes with no one saying anything. The least they could have done was simply say "I'll be with you shortly." I thought the speaker was broken so I was about to drive up to the window! It's a good thing I said "Hello?," that's when someone responded "one moment please." But still, they should have said that before having me ask! Secondly, the lady who took my order felt like she was rushing me.. RUDE!! My order didn't even show on the screen & she didn't even give me my total! Isn't it standard to give the total? All she said was "Okay drive forward." Now let me say, I'm was still calm at this point. Pulling up to the window, she gave me my total. So I went to grab my change. I bring out my hands with my money (one hand with a $20 bill, the other with coins) but then she comes out with my order. I look at her with my hands out & she's just staring at me, forcing me to have to put my money down & take my food. Here I am trying to give her my money first, yet she's shoving me with my order. I should have drove off without paying But it doesn't stop there! As she was getting my change, I look at my receipt to check if they had everything. Come to find out, she didn't get the coffee I ordered! See when she was trying to rush me? When I ordered the coffee at the speaker, she simply said "okay," trusting that she got it. But NOPE! That's when I started to get irritated and didn't even want to bother asking for my coffee because what's the use?! So I drive off with my order. I cooled off a little, at least I got my food right? I get to work & open my order. Come to find out, she didn't give me my sauces for my chicken nuggets! & I specifically remember her asking what kind of sauce I wanted with my chicken nuggets, with me responding with "Sweet & Sour." SERIOUSLY?! Why would you ask what kind of sauce I want IF YOU'RE NOT EVEN GONNA GIVE IT TO ME?! These workers need so much more training, I could have done a better job & I've never worked in the food industry EVER! I get they may be busy, but these little mistakes could have been prevented! Bought take out tonight 8/29/18 ordered a Homestyle Chicken Sandwich, my son ate 3/4th of the sandwich and looked at the chicken in the sandwich and it was raw. Totally raw, gross. Also we bought it as a meal and there was no fries, Wendy's claim that they ran out of fries but when my son's went into the restaurant they gave them their fries. Went there for lunch. As soon as i opened the door a huge cloud of smoke rushed out. as i looked at the menu i notice that they charger more to get a med or large combo. example a small soda is $1.69 and fries is $1.79 and a medium soda is $1.89 and fries is $1.99 but if you want a med comb it cost $0.50 more, not $0.40. and the same for the large combo. Worst customer service EVER! Me and a friend came here for lunch since we were in the area, placed our orders, waited and there was an order missing in my friends bag. He walked up to talk to the cashier that help him, the manager then gave us the missing food. As we were walking away, he tells us "YOU BETTER HAVE YOUR RECEIPT NEXT TIME".
