I don't typically review fast food places as I only visit them on the road for a quick bite to go, so normally, to me, as long as the food is tolerable and serves it's purpose.. all is good in the world. Upon walking in, we ordered from the kiosk and it didn't spit out a receipt nor did it give us an option to... it only said they'll call our name when the order is ready. We were here with some friends and placed two separate orders to dine in. I walked up with the friend who's on another order, to say that I'd like to get a water cup if possible. I was handed a water cup, my friend said he had a drink on his order, so she handed him a cup. I then went to use the restroom when my brother picked up our order and the lady didn't give us our cup for the beverage on our order. I went up to let her know that we had a drink on our order, she was reluctant to hand us a cup but she did. Didn't ask any question... About 5 mins later after we started eating, she made a point to print out a receipt and walked to our table, slammed the receipt in the middle of our table in the middle of our conversation, to say that I only ordered one drink. I nod and said yes. I have a water cup and my brother had the drink cup from just now. She then said I gave you 2 drink cups and you only paid for one. I seriously had to look at her and say, you gave my friend, pointing to him across the table, a cup. You gave me a water cup, could you please check his order too to ensure you're not speaking out of term? Can we go back to have you print out his receipt too? She then realized that they had more food in front of them not on the same ticket as my order. Then said her manager had asked... I question that because she was the only one in the front counter the whole time since we walked in and when we left, there was not another manager "asking her to verify" if I had paid for two drinks. She walked away from our table without saying anything regarding her rude behavior, not looking for an apology, but just a simple - Oops. There is definitely a better way to do this, she could have reviewed the orders when she called our names to pick up at the counter, she could have asked questions if she had a concern at the point of giving us the 2nd beverage cup. She could come over and simple said, "Excuse me, I believe I gave you 2 beverage cups but I only saw one on your order..." Anything could hopefully be a better experience than deliberately printing the receipt, walked over, interrupt our conversation while slapping the receipt on our table. From reading the reviews, maybe Wendy's needs to provide more customer service training... but frankly, they're probably just happy someone is willing to work and maybe training is minimal. Food was ok, smaller portion due to shrinkflation. If you do go to this location, please order at the counter and have them print you out a receipt so you won't be called a thief. Regretfully the last few times to any Wendy's have been a disappointment, might have to stick with the golden arches if I must visit a fast food location. read more

Website says they close at 12:00, Yelp says 11:00 pm. We entered to dine in around 8:45 pm and at 9:00 pm they turned down customers claiming they were closed, and literally started throwing buckets of soapy water and began cleaning the floors while we were still inside. We ate as fast as we could and had to exit with extreme caution to avoid a slip and fall accident from all that slippery soapy water. Service was good, and place will be clean for sure, but at least wait until the last customer leaves to begin the clean up process. read more

We had stopped to get some Frostys. I walked in and went to the counter. I was the only customer in the place. The gentleman behind the counter said, "I'll be right with you". He then turned around and proceeded to tell a fellow employee about a transaction with a previous customer that did not go well. I am waiting and thinking "Hmmm, so far I can understand why your previous customer's experience didn't go well. I'm a customer, ready to do business and it seems your gossiping about a previous customer is more important than I am." I waited, he finally ended his conversation and waited on me. I would have left, but I had 5 other people who had been looking forward to stopping at this location for a couple days and getting a Frosty. We were doing a charity bike ride across Colorado and this was a planned stopping point. Not producing a Frosty to those people who had been counting on it for a couple of days was not an option. The gentleman behind the counter was one of the "seasoned" employees that was mentioned in a previous 5 star review. The question that the employees need to ask themselves is "Who is the customer in this transaction?" read more

I'd give this a big fat ZERO !! I have never seen a Wendy's so very filthy. Usually they take great care to keep their stores very clean NOT this one. Oh my goodness the sidewalk going in was muddy and food and drink spilled there which continued into the store. It had puddles of water by the drink station. The supplies were mostly empty and the counter a disaster. I had to ask for a lid for a small size cup they were completely gone. Was glad I had a few wipes left in my bag for the table and seats. Those wipes were black when I finished wiping it down. The inside is very worn out and in great need of an update. It's quite clear no one cares about this store. We wished we had chose Subway next store for this last stop on our way home. You'd think the health department would Shut them down. read more

The drive thru is almost always closed super early, for example today i went at 8:55 pm there was a line of about 5 or 6 cars in line when after helping the first car they shut off the menu and all of the lights at the drive thru windows, Always has a bunch of rude kids working, how is it ok to always close early when it is the only thing open. This Wendy's is ran by kids every time I go here. There is no standard for the kids to follow because, well, nobody is watching them. I am putting this place on the map for this rare stop I made. The single item I ordered ranks above a two, but I have to maintain my overall standards. Sorry, Dave. I ordered the fish sandwich and OJ for dinner, which sort of tells you what a busy week it's been. I had to wait "three and one half minutes," the staff apologized. It was better that way: The fish was real whitefish, very moist, delicate flavor, and tender inside, and crispy not greasy on the outside. The bun was actually good in a noticable way. I could have done without the mayo but hey it's Wendy's. The OJ was Minute Maid in a box, a bit pricy at 1.69 but we are talking our health here. I got two, it was literally icy cold and very fresh. I can't say I'd do this often but for those of you who do fast food a lot, this is a definite alternative. OK--I've never done this but I am actually adding a star bec I just saw Wendy's new add on this sandwich...they described it accurately. I don't work for them but I'd consider an offer. :) read more

This is my first review and I am trying not to be overly critical, but I had to share my experience. I have a pretty low bar when it comes to fast food - it needs to be fast and ideally somewhat accurate to what is ordered. If you are off of an interstate, being fast is pretty important. So, today, after spending 20 minutes waiting in line inside at Wendy's in Eagle (just off the interstate) just place an order, I was just baffled. Although there were two registers to take orders, only one was used, well, some of the time. I am not sure what the criteria was to open the second as sometimes someone would come up and take an order, and then they would disappear. After a very long wait, we finally ordered our food to-go and asked for one burger to have no tomatoes and no ketchup (food allergy in the family to tomato's). Of course we know how the story ends here, but it was still irritating. However, we have dealt with this before, just take some napkins and wipe off the ketchup and remove the tomato. Oh wait, apparently if you order your food inside but get it "to-go" you are responsible for gathering your own napkins, etc. If you are in a hurry and trying to keep on schedule, keep on driving as I am sure there are better options available. Of course, maybe i caught Wendy's on a bad day, and to that I would say that consistently is part of the value of fast food, so address this issue. read more

If I could give my experience at this Wendy's negative stars, I would. My mom and I went to the drive through after a visit to the doctor. We had gloves and masks on just out of common courtesy, since we didn't want to spread anything we may have picked up from the waiting room. We were going to Wendy's to get Frostys for COVID-19 patients in our neighborhood because they could no longer leave their homes. Pulling up to order, it took the employee much more time and attitude than necessary to put in an order of five Frostys. My mom had to count into the speaker for them to understand us. When we got to the window, there were three male employees. The first thing we heard through the open window was a comment making fun of us wearing "masks and gloves." Note to everyone reading: WENDY'S DOES NOT ENFORCE THAT THEIR EMPLOYEES WEAR MASKS AND GLOVES WHEN HANDLING YOUR FOOD, EVEN DURING A PANDEMIC IN AN AREA WHERE THE VIRUS IS SPREADING RAPIDLY. The young Hispanic man who took my mom's card to pay was extremely rude. My mom suggested that he "wash his hands" after handling her card because we had to use it at the doctor's office. He responded with a horrible attitude, saying, "Are Frostys really a necessity right now?" I have worked in the food industry and know that, as an employee, you are NEVER to voice an opinion about a customer's food unless its positive. We felt insulted and judged. If only that ignorant, unprofessional man knew that those Frostys were the highlight of a COVID-19 victim's day, and we were risking our own health to give them business. My mom tried to explain that by saying, "If you have Corona, then yes, they are." He misunderstood and believed that we were sick. He proceeded to reprimand us by telling us to "stay home like the state says" and not "infect anyone else." Our act of kindness for our neighbors turned into us getting bullied and verbally beat down by a Wendy's employee. Wendy's should be grateful that we still use its services in the middle of a pandemic, not scrutinize our order and be disrespectful to not only us healthy customers, but also all of the Corona sufferers in our community. I will not be going back to Wendy's as a result of this. At times like this, we need to spread kindness among our fellow community members. This company, who allows people like that man to represent it, and also not protect its own employees from contributing to the spread of this virus is extremely unprofessional and disappointing. read more

Honestly, it's Wendy's. I don't expect much. BUT we stopped here on our way to Denver and the service was awesome. Pretty sure Brittany took our orders and she was great. See, we usually make our kids order their own food, yes even the 5 year old, so they learn how to speak to service workers clearly and with respect. She was very patient and kind, and orders came on their own trays so everyone had a tray to carry. I know it was a small gesture but it mattered to me. Other than that, food was about what you would expect for a Wendy's..... No place to park an RV. Never written a review for a fast food restaurant figuring service and quality are pretty standard across all fast food restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to this Wendy's to grab a quick snack for the road. The friendly service stood out among all the other fast food places I've been. The manager was very friendly with everyone that came in. He stopped to chat with kids to see if they wanted anything else. He said hi and asked how peoples' days were going. My family and I were on a trip back to Denver from my mom's house. I had skipped breakfast and by 2pm was getting pretty hungry. We finally stopped at the Wendy's in Eagle and I ordered the smallest cheeseburger on their menu, whatever that one is. I started getting a stomach ache a couple hours later and then a panic run to the bathroom as soon as we got home. It's always fun when you go on a trip and get food poisoning. Ordered at the drive-thru and was told an accurate amount that i had to pay. At the window however, they charged my card for the correct amount and then spent 10 minutes confusing themselves, where they 'refunded' my card (they didn't refund it) and then charged me a second time for the order. So I ended up paying twice the correct amount without knowing i was while also waiting way longer than I should have. The food was Wendy's so average at best.
