It's Wendy's. We needed sustenance after being out in the cold, and Kid K wanted a kid's meal. She got nuggets. I did my usual thing of not knowing what I wanted because I never go here on purpose, and picked: nuggets. "Saucy nugs," they call them. I picked garlic parm pretty much at random. Also got a single because I wasn't sure nuggets would be enough. I wanted chili but they were out, understandably since it was late on a cold Friday night. Service at the drive-through was fast and friendly. Got home, the nuggets were... not bad. Better sauced than plain. Better flavor than some wing places. The single was better, well, once I added some flavor enhancer (chili crisp in this case.) The Thin Mints Frosty was intriguing, but we were just too cold. I've been here multiple times..... always with the same outcome. The staff at this location has ZERO understanding of even the basic concepts of customer service. You walk in and immediately discover that the kiosks do not work, so you go up to the counter to order. The staff does everything possible to avoid eye contact, and it's at least 5 minutes before someone even acknowledges that you are standing there. They rudely take your order...... no smile, no simple greeting. After a 10-15 minute wait, your order is sat on the counter, not called out, and you walk over, and find your own order... No 'here you go', 'sorry for the wait', 'thanks for your business', 'have a nice day', etc.... In a world terrified of AI and robots taking over, I would gladly be served by a robot, versus the rude, disinterested, entitled so-called employees at this establishment. I order 2 biggie bags and spicy nuggets for both biggie bags. They only gave me one spicy nugget for one biggie bag. None for the other. They messed up both sandwiches. I hate that it's around the corner and with all the development, it should've been better over the past several years. Oh my goodness what a ship show this place is. They wait until the first car in line has their order and leaves the drive through before taking the order from the second car in line. I thought well, maybe they are short-staffed but when I get up to the window there's plenty of employees, but it looks like only one girl and the manager are actually doing anything, everyone else is just wandering around or watching. They leave the speaker live so you hear all the chit chat as you wait. I should have left, the food was sad and the small frosty is now the size of those tiny cups the dentist gives to rinse your mouth. If I could give them zero Stars I definitely would. I went inside around 2:00 p.m. today to get a burger and Fry and the place was absolutely atrocious. Fries all over the floor and under all of the equipment, mud on the carpet in the lobby, the food was cold, they were out of straws, and to top it off the order wasn't right. It was so bad I didn't care I just threw the food away and left. This place needs to be shut down unfortunately. I might even call the health department to have them investigate. Worst Wendy's in Downtown Columbus. So terrible that I created a Yelp account just to let others know how bad it is at this location. I had minor issues in the past with this location but this most recent experience has been the worst. As soon as I place my order, I noticed that the cashier was on drugs struggling to use her cognitive thought. They didn't have the right price for the item I wanted on THEIR menu and to top it all off, the beverage machine was pretty much out on everything except diet products. This Wendy's is open late and always does an excellent job. Specially for / on local community delivery. When it comes to drive through it's a slower option , but either way the food is fresh and tasty. (which some Wendy's have been struggling with.) This Wendy's has their Chili consistently about 95% of the time. It is always hot, thick and fresh. If you were low on food you can cut it about 1/3 and still end up with a filling flavorful meal. The staff are usually friendly and kind and show no racial bias against anyone traditionalists or non-traditionalist. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I would rate this a 0 if I could. I understand everywhere is short staffed, but we had to place our order at the kiosk since there were no workers up front. We then proceeded to wait 30 minutes for 3 breakfast sandwiches. After FINALLY getting our food, we went to get ketchup, however, there were gnats swarming in and out of the ketchup dispenser. They are very slow at night. The time sitting at the ordering box was about 4-5 mins before anyone said anything. The more upsetting problem was that when I looked in the windows picking up food, one employee had no mask on and most had theirs pulled down below their noses. Only a couple had gloves. I've never had an issue getting my order quickly and correctly. The store has always been clean and I've never felt uncomfortable eating there. Today I went thru the drive-thru and ordered three number two's. What I received was three Chicken Sandwiches. I was told to move to a spot in the po parking lot and wait. This seems to be a common problem for this Wendy's because this isn't the first time. Today I met the rudest Supervisor there, she came out instead of apologizing she states I dont mind doing this this time but the next time it wont happen. Last resort Wendy's only and somehow still a disappointment. Location may as well shut down if this is the new norm. Staff is incompetent and unprofessional. Past few times I have gone I have been in the drive thru for at least 20-25 mins for sub-par food, and this time I watched SIX cars leave the drive thru due to the wait. When I finally arrived at the box, it took nearly five minutes of saying "HELLO?" before being hearing any response, as I could clearly see employees inside just joking around. My order is finally taken and as I pull up the apparent supervisor is trying to fix the order made incorrectly for the one customer in front of me as she eats a strawberry frosty in the window. My time to pay and I pull to the window and it's clearly a staff of teens just swearing and playing around inside. All of my work experience is in food service, and this is honestly embarrassing for everyone in there. I created a yelp profile for the first time to leave this comment.
