As someone who is both vegan and gluten-free, I've found that fast food options are incredibly limited, and unfortunately, Wendy's is no exception. While I appreciate that some sides like the baked potato and salads can be customized, it's disappointing that a company as large and influential as Wendy's hasn't made more effort to provide inclusive options. I would love to see Wendy's introduce a veggie-focused entrée, such as a plant-based burger, that could be made both vegan and gluten-free. Additionally, having a gluten-free bun or menu filter when ordering would go a long way in making the ordering process easier and safer for those with dietary restrictions or allergies. I understand that implementing these changes can be more expensive upfront, but I genuinely believe that offering more inclusive choices would attract a wider customer base and increase overall business in the long run. There's a growing demand for plant-based and allergen-friendly meals, and I hope Wendy's considers being a leader in this space. The manager William Brown interrupted my urination as I had my service dog on a leash in hand yelling at me to produce my service dog papers and I said after I'm done urinating and then I showed him the ID and then he said I was too rude so he wasn't going to serve me and to get out and he started swearing at me. And then a Russian lady Clerk was saying dogs are unsanitary and I disagreed. I asked the guy if he was a Christian and he said oh that explains why you're the way you are and he said you believe in someone controlling you? I said have fun in hell and I told him I was going to make complaints so I've reported on Google. I contacted customer service for Wendy's and I'm here so everybody go to Burger King instead if you come to Brattleboro Vermont, they love dogs there. read more

One of their workers was rude and there bathroom had a really gross smell after the worker came out and the stall had something what looked like diarrhea or was diarrhea all over the stall and toilet and it was confirmed that it was a worker after he got fired. read more

They got my order wrong three times and one guy got fired in the middle of their shift because they got my order wrong! It was very upsetting for such a small order with just one burger! read more

I don't usually go to Wendy's but this one was very close to our hotel and the chicken sandwich commercial got me so when we wanted something fast and not far away we decided to stop. Service is very slow. I thought for sure the car in front of us must have ordered twenty meals but we realized once it got to be our turn that they were just slow. It was also very hard to understand the employee at the ordering board via the speaker. Our order was done right so I have to assume it's only those outside ordering where it sounds wonky and sounds fine to those taking the order inside. Price is okay. No complaints there. We got a sour cream and chive baked potato. This was not very good. They put a mound of chives on top and then you get packets of "buttery spread" (who knows...) and sour cream to essentially do it yourself. Then, we also ordered two home style chicken sandwiches in the hope that they would taste as good as Popeye's chicken sandwich. Not nearly as good. Overcooked chicken with sloppy mayo and lettuce that fell right out. It wasn't awful but it wasn't anything special which is how I'd describe this visit. I would not stop here nor any other Wendy's unless I really needed food as there are better fast food places. read more

Refused to feed 8 hungry women outside and locked the doors. However there were numerous men eating inside. And I'm very disgusted how they let in a man at the other door. I feel discriminated and still very hungry maybe hangry. We will never eat at this Wendy's again. read more

Folks have been raving about this Wendy's location, but the last few times we have stopped in here the service and quality has been average. The food is decent and the staff is nice but they barely say hello and thank you. The drive-thru took a while the last time we visited. We may just be visiting this restaurant during off times, but again it has been an average experience so far. read more

The smell of sewage when you walk in is just too much. The employees said it's a common smell and people have walked out before because of it. They did try to put how water down the drain to remedy the smell but it didn't work. FIX THIS LOCATION, WENDYS! The employees are lovely but the building is DISGUSTING! read more

I live in the area. I think Wendy's is the better of the fast food restaurants. Just a note on this restaurant, as soon as you walk in, you are hit by a helatious bad odor. I've mentioned it to management many times. I'm told it is sewer gas coming up from one of the floor drains. It's been like that for a year. I've been a vegetarian & health nut or most of my 68 years and am just starting to eat a bit of meat. I was surprised to find that Wendy's salads are great ! The staff - in particular one young man named James was friendly and fast to get us our food. James goes the extra mile in customer service and I saw him engaged in friendly conversation with other customers besides my husband & myself as he kept busy waiting on people and cleaning tables and sweeping. I mentioned to my husband that James seemed like good management possibility (we've worked in the lodge and restaurant business for years). As we began to eat I saw James at the cash register seeming to be buying himself a small fries. I was so touched when with obvious pleasure, he brought it over to me. He had heard me expressing disappointment that my husband ordered a salad too and not his usual burger & fries because I'd been looking forward to stealing some of his fries. This Wendy's location is seriously the pits despite our overall affinity for the chain. We come through here a few times a year and this exit is convenient for a rest stop but there's not many choices although I'm thinking I'll be going to McDonald's from now on. The service here always sucks and the food ranges from fair to mediocre no matter what the day, time or year which overall indicates poor management. It's not a one-time, "we're having an off day" type of thing. I'll recap a recent visit which is a typical representation of the experience you can expect here: Mid-afternoon, weekend day, business is steady but not busy. We enter and get in line. There are a few people waiting already. An employee I'll call "Grandma" is loudly socializing with another employee at the counter off to the side while making a project of wiping dirty trays, one after another, with the same dirty rag. The line continues to grow but neither employee does anything like open another register or assist with preparing orders because there's important gossip to exchange about other employees and bacteria to re-distribute evenly on all the trays. The employee at the register, "David", couldn't make it more abundantly clear that he hates his job, co-workers and customers unless he actually shouted it out as he scowled, groaned, and banged stuff around while huffing and puffing the entire time. As I approached the register, he audibly sighed, slouched against the wall and frowned at me while barking, "here or to go". I kid you not. He said not another word after taking the order such as the total or thank you, instead swiping the payment out of my hand and stalking off. "Grandma" was busy shouting about something else in a different area as the trays had been sufficiently de-sanitized. As I waited for my "food", I contemplated speaking to a manager about this menagerie, but soon realized it was the angry, disheveled-looking Christian Bale employee who was also irritatedly storming around behind the counter complaining about various things. This explains a lot. As I mentioned this is typical experience here. Upon arriving at my table to eat, I realized the inside of my burger bun was burnt black representing the average level of food quality you get here as well. Yes, it is only a Wendy's but seriously, it shouldn't suck this bad and in comparison to a similar fast food chain that provides good food and service 9/10 times like Chik-Fil-A, the experience here is abysmal. Extremely disappointed! I realize COVID-19 has made a change in the way food services operate, but these people just don't care. I was trying to keep six feet from the cashier, but she told me she can't hear he and told me to move closer. We had to eat our meal in our car, and there were no trash cans outside the building for us to discard our meal garbage. I recommend to stay away from here. read more

I go to Brattleboro Wendy's all the time and I just want to say that you have an employee working the counter, his name is Will I believe. Very tall, slim guy. He is the nicest person and very friendly. He is awesome with Customers and taking orders. He deserves a raise! It's not everyday you see people that have excellent Customer service skills, and he is on of the best you have. read more

Stopped here for a supper on way home to CT. Warm fries, room temperature chicken nuggets and so much mayo on my sandwich I had to take a napkin and wipe it off. The lettuce on my sandwich was a piece of white rejected lettuce that I couldn't eat. Its not like it was busy. Must need new management!!! read more

Not the greatest. I was the only person in line on a Wednesday afternoon. An employee ahead of me was placing an order and talking to the guy at the register for quite some time. Then another employee came from the back and placed her order before mine was taken. They continued to socialize for several minutes while I waited to place my order. Only when about 5 more people had lined up behind me was my order taken. I work in food service as well and understand the frustration that it can cause. However, if you have a paying customer waiting in line for over 15 minutes while 4 employees converse at the register, something is really not right. Also the poor guy at the register clearly had no idea how to ring up employee or manager meals. Turns out the employee who cut in line was a manager. Really disappointing to say the least. The food itself was ok, old fries but that's to be expected that time of day. read more
