PROS * The AC was pumping cold air inside on a hot, humid day. * The young lady at the counter was polite. CONS * The staff worked reasonably well together regarding tone of voice, yes, thank you, etc. * The staff's efficiency could be improved. The order of 6 nuggets (the new dipping sauce promotion) plus one medium drink (yes, to give me the empty cup to fill myself) took longer than expected, between 12 and 15 minutes. A faster service would enhance the overall customer experience. * The polite young lady mentioned above missed my cell phone lying open on the counter to scan the "rewards points" QR code even though she had to reach across it to give me my tray. * I asked if it was too late to have the code scanned, and she didn't know. So she got her manager. "I don't know anything about the app, but I think that you now need to find the instructions on the app to email a photo of it. (True statement.) The scanner won't work once the order is closed out. SUMMARY * I will return very occasionally * The new sauced nuggets promotions are not worth spending your money on. Salt cakes as burgers. Charged different price at window, was told by manager that they couldn't honor the price, it was up to corporate. ?? Over a dollar upcharge. $8.36 for a $6.89 burger. May not seem like much , but I am sure it adds up for them. read more

Wendys food, meh. Wendys service, meh. Wendys upset because, after sitting in parking lot eating my meh food n paying cash b/c only pay they were taking, and no service inside (locked doors), I went back to window to ask about a trash can (none outside) n she told me they had none. I said, "Fast food with no outdoor trashcan?" And supervisor said they don't have any and was very sharp as if I were asking for the impossible (I had a frosty n didn't finish half of it). No solution (such as we'll unlock the side door and you can put it in the can there, or anything). Mind you, b/c they were taking only cash, there was Very Little Business)! 2 customers the whole time from ordering to discussion). What a ridiculous way to run a business...fast food with no trash can, and then get offended when someone asks about it. Smdh. read more

Needs better management. The employees at this location always close the lobby and drive-through 45 minutes to an hour before posted closing time. I've been charged for a full mobile order, gotten there well before close, and they tell me that they're closed and they don't have the ingredients to make my order. I have tried to mobile order food after I get out of work multiple times, get there at 10:15pm and it's all locked up when they are posted everywhere to close at 11pm. One time employees were running around screaming in the parking lot while I waited for 20 min. read more

Possibly the most ghetto Wendy's location in America. It's the closest one to where I work so I've been here several times over the last few months. The worst thing about this place is how often they get my order wrong. Be sure to check your bag before you leave the drive-thru, they have a tendency to 'forget' to include items you've paid for. Seems like they have an issue with training the staff. Last time I was in I tried to use a digital coupon from the Wendys app, and I'm not joking, it took 3 employees 5 minutes to figure out how to apply the coupon. The best part? After waiting 10min for my order, they still got it wrong. AGAIN. Couple all this incompetence with a filthy restaurant and you have one seriously ghetto fast food joint. I like this outlet. The crew's nice and the place is clean. I've enjoyed their burgers for the money though 99c one is awful. Spicy fries were surprisingly yummy blend of cheesiness and peppers; wonder if they'd add bacon bits if asked. read more

Tried the taco salad, so glad I had a $2.00 off coupon. The chili, chips and salsa were fine, but the lettuce couldn't be called "greens" by any stretch of the imagination... it was the whitish core part of the head. Rather disappointed as it wasn't on par with their former taco salad. Guess I'll stay with Chipotle for this kind of meal. read more

Just came from second attempt to get the Bacon Jalapeno Cheese Fries. First try I got tired of wait staff having a conversation about her name with a customer who already had her order while I stood waiting. Went to this Wendy's today and got my order along with other items. To use a catch line from a 1984 Wendy's commercial "Where's the beef" I'll ask "Where's the bacon"? Could not find even a speck of bacon on the fries. Did someone not notice there was no bacon on a item, expensive, that is touted as having bacon as a main ingredient? This is why I rarely bother stopping at Wendy's in Adrian. Chalk both complaints up to poor management! read more

stopped there the other night craving some of their chilli, i ordered chili and a double cheese burger. brought it home to eat the chili had hard burnt pieces ,i think, burger all in it and it was just gross the burger wa cold like it had been sitting for awhile. wendy's has always prided their selves on good food but have gone way down hill. will not visit there for a long time. read more

This is seriously the worse Wendy's I've ever encountered in my life. Not only is my order wrong 99% of the time I go there, but the employees are more incompetent than a drunk toddler. I only order one thing and one thing only when I go there and it's the same thing every time. Spicy chicken combo with EXTRA lettuce, tomato AND pickle. Easy enough right? Well apparently not for this Wendy's. After they initially didn't put extra anything on my sandwich I repeat my order back to the window employee and she supposedly corrects it. I leave, open my sandwich and low and behold there's one piece of lettuce and tomato. So I drive all the way back to the drive thru and politely tell the lady how I wanted my sandwich and she makes me a new one and hands me the bag. Everything should be cool right? No. I get home, all the way in Britton (20 miles away) only to open my sandwich to find one tiny shred of lettuce that wouldn't even suffice the smallest herbivore, one measly slice of tomato, three pickles and a bun soaked with mayonnaise. Three times my order was repeated and they STILL got it wrong. Do they not know what EXTRA means? Is it some kind of Wendy's rule that they have to give you the most shitty looking parts of the plant for your sandwich or something? I mean what the hell I payed almost ten bucks for something that looks like Andre the giant shit onto my plate. At this point I'm ready to just give up but my boyfriend decides to call and talk to management but when she goes to repeat back the order she's trying to replace she gets it wrong a fourth time. He hangs up in frustration. Thanks again Wendy's for showing us that literally anywhere else is better. If you're hungry and debating going somewhere quick to eat, I suggest you drive past this one. First time we've been into Wendy's since the remodel. If you like eating in a cold, sterile environment then this might be your kind of place. However, the floors were dirty with food and most of the tables were dirty from previous customers. Nobody was in the lobby cleaning anything when we walked in even though only 3 tables had customers. I guess the saying "if you have time to lean, you have time to clean" does not apply to this Wendy's. While getting our drinks, they called our name (which is suppose to mean your order is ready) however we continued to wait as our order was not complete. I finally told the employee that we were still waiting on 2 frosty's and it was responded with "yea she's getting it". Ok so hurry up and get it as by now my hot foods are getting cooler. We have no interest in going back to this specific Wendy's. You can change the interior and exterior of a building but if you don't change the employees, it really doesn't matter. read more
