I had a customer experience at Wellnessmart MD located at West Chapman Ave Orange CA that left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable with how I was treated by the employee named Vanessa. I don't mind when she didn't say Hi but Instead, she seemed to yell and with what I understood to "stand behind the counter," which was confusing and off-putting. When I stepped back, she pointed angrily with one finger to a tablet behind me, instructing me to sign in. This unpleasant encounter occurred within 10 seconds of entering the clinic which I travelled for 45 mins. Throughout my time there she was on her cellphone, making it difficult for me to ignore her personal conversations as the space was so small. It was only when another patient/customer arrived that she finally ended her personal call. It was very awkward listening to someone else's conversation. Thankfully, other employees, such as Jennifer and Nicole, were very courteous and welcoming. Jennifer, in particular, was professional and took over, providing clear explanations of procedures and what to expect. I would suggest that Vanessa undergo retraining in customer service basics and cellphone etiquette to improve the overall customer experience at Wellnessmart MD Orange CA. This place is amazing and the only gripe is that they are in downtown Oakland. I wish they were closer to Richmond. I had to get a TB test before I could work with children and for some reason my school district didn't offer the free test, like they've done in previous years. So I had mere hours to find a company. 1. This spot is clean. I went in and felt like I didn't mind being stuck with a needle. 2. I was greeted by two of the friendliest people ever! And it wasn't just me. They were like that with everyone who walked in. I really felt like I was going to be taken care of. 3. Signing in was a breeze. They had an iPad with a ton of styluses. So no cross contamination or need to touch anything, but the clean stylus. 4. I came at the "last minute" and they don't close up early or anything like that. 5. Upon my return, my appointment was quick and to the point. There website was easy to read. Most places gave tests but finding the pricing sent me down a rabbit hole that ended in frustration. They had everything laid out on the site so I knew how much money I'd be giving them ahead of time. If I know of anyone who needs a quickie test, I'll let them know this is the spot! I'm so glad I found them online, and driving all the way to Oakland and paying for parking is a small price to pay for the ease and convenience. read more

I've gone here a couple times for tests and fingerprinting. I was able to make appointments easily With little wait time. The nurse who did the test explained everything and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. The main drawback is that both times I was in there (1 year between appts) the employees were arguing in front of all of the patients. It's a tiny space and they were loud. If you like watching drama, this is the place for you. Grab some popcorn and get a seat. If you prefer a quiet and professional atmosphere I strongly suggest not going here. I didn't say anything at the time because I was fearful of exacerbating the issue but it was stressful to watch. I don't think this should be happening in a medical clinic. read more

NOT THE BEST FOR HEARING TESTS They do not have the right equipment for an audiogram! There is no soundproof room (just a room with no door & access to background noise) and no professional audiologist! On her second visit, they couldn't get the room working and she had to take it outside! My mother was sent here for an important job position that required her to receive a hearing test. However, she came here twice and they failed her both times; telling her that she had mild hearing loss in both ears. This would rescind the job position, however when she went to an actual hospital her results came out perfectly fine and she passed!! The audiologist even told her that it might have been a botched job, and that my mothers hearing was perfectly fine. I don't know about the rest of their operations but this experience was just not the best. :( read more

I came in here for a TB test for a volunteer position I applied for. The process was very quick. I didn't even spend a total of 15 minutes inside their office (both for the administering of the test and the follow up). The total came out to $38 as advertised. I received a paper copy and emailed copy of my test afterwards. The only downside is that parking around the area is a challenge, given that you don't spend much time there. There's plenty of paid street parking around the area. You may be able to find free parking if you walk a few blocks. read more

Sketchy facility, incompetent and bad customer service I do not recommend this place. First of all the facility looks like it should be in a horror movie, white cinderblock walls, dirty carpeting, etc...- not where you should go for anything health related. Secondly, the service is incompetent - my fingerprints were not not even sent to DOJ for over 15 days; this had a major impact on my reason for ordering fingerprints. When I called customer service to find out why, phone customer service said they couldn't look into it because of a power outage; dissatisfied I made an person visit the next day. The in-person customer service rep said "some papers got stuck together and your paperwork was stuck to a bunch of other orders and your order did process so thats what happened that day" she also explained "that we are all human". This area has dozens of other facilities that provide the services Wellness Mart provides. Do yourself a favor and go to one of those. You (and I) deserve better. read more

I don't know if you have ever needed a "Livescan Fingerprinting" or TB test for employment but after 3 such job onboardings, Wellnessmart,MD was the most pleasant and smoothest encounter of all. The location is open 7 days a week, I just thought I'd take a gamble and go on a Friday morning, I drove and found street parking. There are all kinds of tests and vaccines one can get with this corporation. The customer service my technician Mark M provided was invaluable. I do not need to go to the county public health center in the future, all my travel immuzations and employment needs can be handled here. read more

This is a great one stop place to get almost all prerequisites for work as well as for patients. I was able to do fingerprints, physical test, TB test with referral to Nor Cal for X-rays, vaccinations and blood test to check what vaccinations present that are needed for work. IMPORTANT FOR POSITIVE TB TEST- I know by now you are used to doing X-rays. This place doesn't do them and if you want submit them from a doctor or get a TB test which of course will be positive, you need to come back to get referral to Nor Cal, which you can go to (10 minutes away drive) the same day. Both People who work here are excellent. Jared and Delena tell you each step, tell you what you are waiting for, approachable but professional. They take social distancing seriously but nice about it. I loved this place. Parking sucks a bit. There are only very limited parallel parking and you need to use a paid parking lot. read more

I came here for a physical and drug screen, and from the get go, I was greeted by her and promptly cared for after arriving. He caused my appointment to go too long, by stopping assisting me to help someone come in after me. He yelled at me, spoke to me like a subordinate and aggressively approached me, making me fear for my safety. All of this should be on the security camera. My business partner and I came in right before close and Tanique, while others may not have been so enthused, graciously welcomed us in and assisted us with Livescan and passport services. The space has a great ambiance- it was totally serene and clean. The front desk is well organized and the prices and services are laid out easy to understand. There are small models of the human anatomy being displayed and are a bit misleading when you look through the window upon entering. Yes they do livescans here! The livescans process was seamless. I was lead to a small section where the fingerprint roller was located. Everything was electronic and required about 10 mins to catch images of each finger. Easy and sweet! Tanique was gentle as she took her time to create acceptable images. Tanique totally hooked us up - helping us get our paperwork completed and even offering a few beauty tips for passport shots. After getting a few unappealing shots she was kind enough to retake pictures. She was the total package - efficient, friendly and down to earth! Not only can you get a livescan and TB test, but they also have CPR and first aid classes, Travel consultations ans vaccinations, blood draws and STD checks, passport photos 2 for $10, work physicals, sport and school physicals, as well as USCIS approved immigration. I mean the list is long!!...the great thing is its all done by walk-ins and you can get in and out in no time...Its nice to be greeted by a friendly nurse and not a grumpy one for a Change lol...the nurse with the flower in her hair is awesome!!! I went to Wellnessmart for multiple pre-employment tests and they did their best to accommodate me, and took care of some follow-up items I needed. I had an appointment today. This was our first time here. When we arrived we waited for almost 45 mins. The associate was already assisting another gentleman who was waiting to speak to an online doctor. A women walked in and was asked to have a seat and a couple minutes went by and she was then assisted and left. We were then told it would be another 5 or 10 mins. I said OK and sat there. The associate was nice enough to give everyone a chilled bottle of water which was appreciated but it did not get us any closer to our appointment which was already very late. The gentleman before us had to go and put more money in the meter because he also was waiting (for the online doctor). So we waited and waited. I don't know what happened? There was a lot of chatter and laughter between office associates through the speaker on the desk. We all just sat there waiting looking at each other. I finally walked out! We received a call back once we returned home to "come on back". No thank you!!!! I'm not mentioning the name of the associate or bad mouthing him because I don't believe it was intentional, but it really sucked for us! We just won't go back her ever again. read more
