    I never thought I would be so happy with an urgent care center. But, I'm so glad that I was able to make an appointment at this location, which takes most insurances. It was such a relief after not being able to make an appointment to see my doctor for an urgent matter until three weeks out. I was in so much pain that I couldn't wait any longer and finally caved in and called the local urgent care facilities. For the record, Dr. Najib still works at this location! And just like other yelpers, I found him to be excellent. For someone who works in the medical field, I can say that he is on par with the care that one should receive and he ordered exactly what I felt needed to be ordered. Not only did he order an x-ray, but he was also able to make a needed referral and was very knowledgeable as to how everything worked and what to expect regarding wait times and scheduling. He did exactly what I would want my PCP to do for me, but without having to wait for a PCP appointment. I was able to call the specialist right after my urgent care visit to make an appointment for a few days later. Talk about true URGENT care! I was floored! The process couldn't have been faster, more convenient, efficient, or better. The place does need to clean up some drops of blood leading up to the entrance. But, otherwise, this urgent care inside the facility is clean and well-maintained. There was no one else in the waiting room. I really like how you can make an appointment to see the doctor in advance even though I had to wait a good 30 minutes or so to be be given a room and a bit longer to see the doctor. Also the staff is very nice and easy to work with. I sure hope I don't have another urgent care need. But if I do, this time I won't hesitate and I know exactly where I'm going to go.

    Went here today because their website (see screenshot) says they treat "fractures and sprains." The conversation went something like this. Me: Hi, I need to see a doctor. I was in a car accident about a week ago and... Rude receptionist (RR): (interrupting) We don't do car accidents. Me: But I think my arm might be broken because... RR: We don't do car accidents! We don't have an x-ray machine. So, I left to find a different urgent care. At no point during this exchange did she break eye contact with her computer monitor. Maybe they have an x-ray machine, and the receptionist couldn't be bothered. Maybe they don't, and they are lying on their website about the services offered. Maybe this is a McDonald's ice cream situation, where they have one but it's always broken. Regardless, you should go somewhere else if you have anything more serious than the flu.

    Negative COVID test that she was making a big deal about. Trying to say she sees two lines. What a moron!

    This place sucks! The young lady at the front desk is so annoying about COVID tests. I went after recently having COVID and they demanded a COVID test from the last 24 hours. I explained that according to CDC, CDPH and Alameda County Health you're not suppose to retest for 30 days after having COVID because you can still show false positive. She made me go get one anyways just to be seen. This isn't posted anywhere online or at their facility but that's what she demanded. They also make you fill out all of the health and medical history paperwork again every time you go. Today I went in again and I was prepared with a COVID test that was taken 20 minutes prior to me showing up. It's clearly negative and she said she has to show it to the doctor first to make sure she can count it because she thinks there's a second faint line. See picture. There's no 2nd line. It's clearly negative. I just told her never mind and she smarted off "that's fine". I went straight to Sutter Health Urgent Care at Eden Hospital. There was no wait, they didn't make me fill out family health history and they didn't even ask about a COVID test. I will never go back to the trashy Progressive Urgent Care again. I do highly recommend Sutter Progressive Urgent Care at Eden Hospital.

    They are open on Sunday !!!! Great urgent care. Most humble people including physicians and nurses. Will definitely use them.

I find it funny how they even try to send a Filipino nurse to convince him. When he was released from the hospital no one helped him in the car and he was so poor in health we had to bring him right back. I hope someone investigates and sniffs around this place.

    I had a terrible, unethical, and harmful experience at Sutter Health urgent care in early February…read morein which the doctor tried to tell me I don't actually have migraine disease based on her false understanding of migraine disease (she said the fact that my migraine sometimes is felt on the left side and sometimes on the right side means it's not migraine, which is simply untrue as 85% of people with migraine (not even just severe cases) have it bounce sides - I even showed her medical research disproving her false understanding, which she disputed) and then tried to tell me I didn't have a dental infection after I was diagnosed by xray and an endodontist with one. When I was there with the flu simply to get a script for Tamiflu. Why was she even trying to invalidate my migraine and dental infection diagnoses!! Sutter sent me a feedback form the next day. I filled it out with my experience and said I needed a call back from them to discuss. No call back. I called Sutter a week or two later, and the person told me to fill out a form on the patient relations site in order to try again to get a call back. I did. I STILL haven't been contacted by them. I called them today (the number on their patient relations site) and asked to speak with patient relations. They sent me to primary care, who told me there is no way they can connect me with patient relations. They told me they would transfer me to urgent care. I said I don't want to be transferred to urgent care. I want to be transferred to patient relations. The person then transferred me to urgent care against my explicit request, and the urgent care person is now giving me the phone number to contact patient relations, which is exactly where I called to end up in this cluster fu*k!! And then the urgent care person threatened to hang up on me when I tried to explain my complaints. And then she did hang up on me when I was answering her question of what number I had originally called. This is sooooo disrespectful. Riddle me this: How on earth can there be no way for a PATIENT to be put in contact with PATIENT FRIGGIN RELATIONS?! And why would you make your patient relations number a disrespectful maze of rude people passing you along and then asking you to keep doing that in perpetuity. (I've now been on the line with them for 30 mins+, and this is my fourth attempt to give feedback. All while I am sick in bed with the disease the urgent care Dr was disputing I have. This is one example of how the healthcare system makes the sick sicker and gets away with migraine stigma. @sutterhealth - you now have me making three complaints instead of one.

David answered the phone quickly, and it was clear that he was a very compassionate person and I felt very strongly that we would be in good hands at this clinic. Both David and Dr. Perez worked to get us the required vaccinations for the lowest possible cost, even though that meant that they didn't make any money by giving her the vaccines themselves. They clearly want to help people through the residency application process and their kindness and compassion is both remarkable and very much appreciated! Thanks to their assistance in getting all of the medical records filled out, my wife was granted residency in April 2026 and we couldn't be happier :) In summary, I'm very happy with the services provided by these two wonderful people, and I give my highest recommendation to Avanzado Medical Group for anyone looking for a civil surgeon or is in need of other medical care.

His voice/tone: direct. The call was super quick but truly informative that highlights David's systematic approach. I asked for the soonest available appointment and confirmed. I then received a text from him with the address and documents I need to bring. On the day of the appointment, we thought I'll be late so I called the office but ended up being early even. Considering that I said I'll be late, I assume David wanted to be productive during the time that I said I won't be there yet, so he started another task. Truly understandable. He still accommodated me and dropped that task he was doing. I really commend this Medical Office as they are pragmatic and warm. And also, they offer the best rates compared to all the offices I called when I had the first medical. I am so thankful I found the Avanzado Medical Group! Thanks again David and Dr. Peter!

The space is much bigger, more modern, and everything is run very smoothly. From check-in to treatment, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Dr. Lin took the time to listen and quickly diagnosed the issue I had been struggling with for weeks. Thanks to his care and treatment, the pain I was dealing with two weeks ago is almost gone. After sitting in the office waiting to be seen I was told that because I was 10 minutes late and they closed their urgent care my son wouldn't be seen and I would have to schedule him another time because I forgot his insurance card. He got denied because the visit wasn't urgent enough stated by the medical assistant and I had forgot his insurance card. Which I mentioned to them he has med-iCal I than was sent home With my problem unaddressed and rushed through. There was no empathy for my situation and in my opinion this is a form of neglect. Horrible experience and I will never go back to this location.
