They have a great selection of authentic German foods to purchase, along with fun treats, snacks, and specialty items you don't usually find elsewhere. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! We ended up getting quite a feast of plates and then topped it off with two desserts- the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake (couldn't come to a family agreement so had to get both!). Side note- Whether you just go to the restaurant on it's own or are enjoying Lagoon Amusement Park, there is a bathroom located inside the restaurant that is actually clean (unlike all the restrooms circulated throughout the park). Store is clean but customer service and employees need big time customer service training! I'm giving this review a straight 4 for decent food and an amazing day. The airy artisan crust is the same on all pizzas and is delicious. I would recommend them all outside of the Camarones which felt a bit underwhelming as there was very little shrimp and flavor was flat. The Citrus Morita dry rub wings are incredible. We ordered these every night. The Morita chile sauce I would throw on everything. Super fresh and flavorful. It had the right amount of heat . The breadsticks are really good. Same bread that they use for the pizza and stuffed with a ton of cheese. Marinara sauce that comes with it is top notch. The Diablo sticks are spicy just to be spicy. The sauce isn't good. We switched to regular marinara. Would recommend staying away from these. Service is great. Everyone is very attentive. Porcupine is also a great location for post mountain activities and right along multiple trail routes. After taking our order, he never checked on us once. We had to flag someone down just to get our check. The food was fine, but the service completely ruined the experience. Hospitality should never depend on how much you're spending or what you order.
