    a food truck

I wish that I could give negative stars. I was cold last night and stopped for a cup of soup. Second sip in, there was a hair in my soup! The lady asked me if I wanted another cup, or my money back and I asked her if she was kidding! She said it has "never" happened before, but that is what I would expect her to say. No apology, she just became defensive and practically threw my money at me like it was my fault. Big bald guy with filthy hands and no gloves seemed to be in charge, but he said and did nothing. When I walked around the back I could see inside and felt fortunate that it was only a hair. The inside of the "kitchen" was beyond disgusting! I thought we had a Health Department here...

I heard great things about this food truck so I stopped in when they were close to my work. The outside of the truck is really nice. They have it painted nice, lights a flashing, and an inviting truck overall. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and a small fry. The sandwich was really good. It had a good amount of shredded chicken that tasted fresh and was really moist. The cheese was plentiful and tasted great. The ranch was typical and the bacon was a bit thin but was cooked well and tasted good. Overall it was a good sandwich but I'd like to try something else next time. The fries were so good. They give you a lot too. They are fresh cut goodness sprinkled with seasoned salt. Really great. Too bad there was no fry sauce. They have ketchup though. I'd definitely give them a try again.

A grilled cheese sandwich is so simple there are very few ways you can make it memorable and most of them have to do with the quality of preparation, the cardinal sin being insufficiently melted cheese. Properly buttered and toasted bread combined with thoroughly melted cheese gets you 3/5ths of the way to the promised land. The Toasted Cheeser doesn't stray too far from this basic formula but they do have enough iterations to ensure a slightly different experience across many visits. I've tried the ham & swiss and the pesto and enjoyed many a fry. I did like both sandwiches but flavor diminishes as it cools off and the cheese hardens. I would advise eating the sandwich first, before focusing on the fries, for the best experience. The fries are very good. To me they are reminiscent of the fries from Dick's Drive In in Seattle, which is rated I think the second best fry in the country if memory serves...they have the skin on, and they're well seasoned giving them loads of flavor. You get a good mix of softer fries with some crispy ones. Go easy with the salt. Generally they are salted plenty - bordering on overkill. Another thing to keep in mind is the small order size is massive. It can be shared between 3-4 people. Go with the mini if it's just you or even if you're sharing with someone. Generally, I think the Toasted Cheeser is a 4 star experience. The prices are a bit high for the sandwiches but the prices are good for the fries, so it sort of evens out.

Got the classic grilled cheese. It was pretty good but just a plain grilled cheese. I want to try there other sandwiches.

Finally able to find time on a Friday early lunch. They're normally only open on Friday's from 10am…read moreto 2pm or when the food runs out. Have to watch facebook to see when they're going to be serving food. This is a food truck located in the Clearfield industrial park. Look for row F bldg 13, row F is west of where GPS takes you. Once you find Bldg F13 they're located across the street to the east at the back of the parking lot. I didn't see them at first as there is a taco truck at the front end of the parking lot and parked cars in the way. But they are there if you look. I tried the 3 meet plate as I wanted to get a variety to try. They were already out of burnt ends, they tell me they're great. Ribs, very good, tender with good flavor. It's a dry rub but you can add hot or reg bbq sauce. I preferred the flavor of the regular. The hot was not very hot but I liked the regular flavor better. Comes with two meaty ribs. 5/5 Jalapeño sausage, just okay, not spicy. 3/5 Candied pork belly, excellent flavor. 4/5 Cornbread, amazing, soft and moist, best bbq cornbread I've had. 5/5 Funeral potatoes, were good. 3/5
