Her speech is beyond what it was when we brought her in, and now, she can identify and self-correct herself. She's amazed at how she spoke and sounded when watching old videos of herself. The staff has always been caring and professional. Sure, there were scheduling conflicts, both planned and unplanned, on their end as well as ours. All of it handled well in light of ever-changing situations. They've been responsive to our inquiries, and kept us in the loop about our daughter's progress. For the past 10 months we've worked with Andrea and Kelsey. My daughter says words with sounds she wasn't able to do before. She also has so much fun. The sessions are engaging and the toys are always different so it motivates her to target goals. From what I've seen, all the therapist are super positive and ready to jump in and WORK HARD. The SLP's use every moment as an opportunity to help target my daughter's speech goals. At first I didn't think 30 minutes would be enough time. Nope, I was wrong. Without Andrea and Kelsey's expertise, my daughter wouldn't be saying the words she says now. I've been with other clinics with my other children too. Speech Point really is a top notch clinic. I have to add: The owner is really nice and easy to talk to. She's busy doing assessments all the time but she'll make time to chat when requested. Just ask. Courtney and Temika are on top of the scheduling and behind the scenes tasks. They always respond via text, email or by phone. There's some scheduling issues at the moment due to short staffing but management has been giving updates and the owner is stepping in to help. My 8 year old daughter was being teased about not being able to say her R's. Adults and children…read morealike would mimic her speech and a rude child on the soccer field pointed out the irony that her name had R's in it but she couldn't say them. Her name begins and ends with R, and she began to avoid saying her name when introducing herself or when people would ask her name. This broke my heart and solidified the need to seek speech therapy. She began therapy in February 2024 with Mikayla, and by October/November she had made drastic improvements in the ability to say R's but the habit of saying R sounds the old way was hard to break. It is now January 2025 and our insurance has changed so she is no longer able to attend therapy, but I am so happy to report that she has now mostly broken the habit of saying R's the old way all on her own without reminders, and most importantly can confidently say her own name. I also want to thank Karen for her diligence in working with my insurance company getting the claims paid. She has a beautiful voice and makes every session fun, engaging, and relaxing. She always sings his favorite songs exactly the way he wants--even when that means singing "Hickory Dickory Dock" with the clock striking 34 times, or singing "Five Little Sharks Jumping on the Bed" simply because my son requested it! She keeps him engaged while encouraging him to try new things and make new sounds. We also work with Natalie and Bella for speech therapy, and we couldn't be happier with them. They take the time to understand my son, follow his interests, try different approaches, and collaborate with each other to figure out what works best for him. They also introduced us to the Bjorem Speech Sound Cues, which has made a noticeable difference in his speech, and they're always giving me practical tips to work with him at home. I've been taking my 2 1/2 year old son to Zenith for about 6 months now, and his improvement has…read morebeen amazing. When we first started he probably only had 2-3 words to his vocabulary. Now not only does he know some basic sign language that we utilizes a lot at home, but he is now imitating us a lot and is able to say a few three word sentences. He use to throw a lot of tantrums do to not being able to communicate with us correctly. Those have gone down a lot as well. At the moment we are working with Liz who is amazing with him. She knows exactly what grabs his attention, and every time she sees him he comes out with more and more to show. She is bilingual so it has been great for us since we speak both English and Spanish in our house hold. We also work with Brittany, who also has done really good with him. Leslie was the first one we worked with, and Matthias took to her so well. Unfortunately we no longer work with her do to our schedule, but she is super sweet and knows just how to work with kids. Mala I believe is the owner, she is great. Even though she doesn't work directly with every client she knows who you and your kid are when she comes in. Always very attentive. We arrived on time and have been waited for 20 mins near room - nothing was happening, no one welcomed us or guided us. To our surprise, later we received a message from an administrator claiming we had missed our appointment and offering to reschedule it. But during these 20 mins of waiting no no one attempted to contact us and let us know that we are waiting in a wrong place! In addition to time wasted, it also disrupted my child's mood - we had to take him from playing with friends for nothing. My advice to Valued Voices: be more respectful to the time of your clients. Time=value!
