The waiting area is not crowded at all and is super spacious. We've been seeing Brandie and absolutely love her! She genuine, really outgoing and fun with my son and always has fun games and activities prepared for him to do as soon as he comes in. My toddler also came for a short time too (he graduated) and thought it was so much fun. Most importantly, my son's speech is so much better now:) highly recommend!

My only complaint is the turnaround my child has had in ABA BTs, but I don't necessarily think that's something that is Corticas fault, it seems like it's something general for the field, at all facilities. My child's Supervising staff has been great to work with. They LOVE their SLP, and they have really been enjoying OT, both of those services don't seem to have as high of a turnover, which is great. I have seen a lot of growth with my child. I think the quality of services is great and I appreciate that we can do everything all at 1 place.

I had a really disappointing experience with the front desk staff at this location. The…read morereceptionist made inappropriate comments about there being "too many Spanish speakers," which was not only unprofessional but also oftensive. Comments like that have no place in a business that serves a diverse community. I was really put off by the lack of basic courtesy from the receptionist at this location. From the moment I walked in, there was no acknowledgment whatsoever-not even a simple "good morning." It felt cold and unwelcoming, especially since the front desk is supposed to set the tone for the entire experience. A small greeting goes a long way in making people feel comfortable, and unfortunately that was completely missing here. I hope they can improve their customer service and remember that professionalism starts with simple, respectful interactions. Customer service should be respecttul, inclusive, and responsive-unfortunately, this location fell short on all three. I hope management addresses these issues seriously. I was hoping by end of summer and she responded "at least." Needless to say my card was stopped and I was incredibly disappointed with my overall experience.

Megan was so great with both of us. She allowed me to sit in on more sessions than their policy states and only when I was ready did she take my son back by himself. She made me feel like she was my partner in navigating the whole speech thing. When I can't make it to take him to his appointments, she'll send videos of his progress and a little note. My son loves going to see her and doesn't want to leave the wait area afterwards! Jody, the owner, is also extremely kind and cares about all the kids and parents in her program. When a member of the staff was going to go on maternity leave and some of her responsibilities were going to be passed on to our therapist, Jody emailed me directly to make sure I was comfortable with switching my son's teacher. I expressed some concerns (he was very shy and just loved Megan at this point) and Jody quickly assured me they'd work around my son and my concerns. I can't tell you how wonderful it was for me that they went above and beyond to accommodate us. All of the people at CDC are truly incredible and will love on your child while they help them grow. We started out seeing Miss Allison, who is phenomenal, but due to scheduling switched to Miss Mary, who is exceptional. The whole staff really cares about the progress my son is making. They are out of network with our insurance, but we love them so much, we pay the difference. Our sons progress is well worth the difference in price.

Once I realized how delayed she was I felt panicked and Elaina got me in for an evaluation so fast and was so encouraging that she could get my daughter on track. She started speech therapy by 15 months with Elaina and every week was like a new, exciting play date for her because Elaina was so engaging and resourceful and supportive. Elaina got my daughter communicating FAST. She right away acknowledged some ways that we needed to work with her and it was as if she found the switch and flipped it on. Now my daughter is 3 and actually her language and vocabulary are pretty advanced! I credit that 100% to Elaina. She won't turn anyone away. This is not her job, its her passion so whatever your schedule or financial situation, Elaina will make it work, I can guarantee that! I encourage parents with concerns to call her without hesitation, there is absolutely no downside and you will feel so much better having her support for your kids. She is the best!

Valued Voices' client service is disappointing: no respect to customer's time…read more We have arrived to the 1st practical session. We arrived on time and have been waited for 20 mins near room - nothing was happening, no one welcomed us or guided us. To our surprise, later we received a message from an administrator claiming we had missed our appointment and offering to reschedule it. But during these 20 mins of waiting no no one attempted to contact us and let us know that we are waiting in a wrong place! In addition to time wasted, it also disrupted my child's mood - we had to take him from playing with friends for nothing. My advice to Valued Voices: be more respectful to the time of your clients. Time=value!
