For the past 10 months we've worked with Andrea and Kelsey. My daughter says words with sounds she wasn't able to do before. She also has so much fun. The sessions are engaging and the toys are always different so it motivates her to target goals. From what I've seen, all the therapist are super positive and ready to jump in and WORK HARD. The SLP's use every moment as an opportunity to help target my daughter's speech goals. At first I didn't think 30 minutes would be enough time. Nope, I was wrong. Without Andrea and Kelsey's expertise, my daughter wouldn't be saying the words she says now. I've been with other clinics with my other children too. Speech Point really is a top notch clinic. I have to add: The owner is really nice and easy to talk to. She's busy doing assessments all the time but she'll make time to chat when requested. Just ask. Courtney and Temika are on top of the scheduling and behind the scenes tasks. They always respond via text, email or by phone. There's some scheduling issues at the moment due to short staffing but management has been giving updates and the owner is stepping in to help. I can't thank the team enough for helping my daughter so much this past year.

Her speech is beyond what it was when we brought her in, and now, she can identify and self-correct herself. She's amazed at how she spoke and sounded when watching old videos of herself. The staff has always been caring and professional. Sure, there were scheduling conflicts, both planned and unplanned, on their end as well as ours. All of it handled well in light of ever-changing situations. They've been responsive to our inquiries, and kept us in the loop about our daughter's progress. We are thrilled we found Speech Point, and even more so that they were able to help our daughter correct her speech!

I echo many of the previous reviews regarding the lack of organization of the admin and zero…read moreawareness of how to run a business. When I go to a medical office, usually the admin will check PRIOR to my appointment if I'm within network and what the co-pay is so that when I get to my appointment, they know how much to collect. This place does NOT check before hand and will submit the claim and wait until it gets back from insurance and then shift the blame on you saying that it's the patient's responsibility to pay the co-pay. The information is ON THE insurance card. They didn't bother to look at any changes when I gave them the new card and kept billing me the old co-pay. And then sent me a huge bill and threatened to cancel all future appointments until the balance was paid in full. They did not even check before hand!! I work in the health field. I know what office staff should do PRIOR to a patient's appointment as well as having competent patient care skills - it's pretty basic. This place had NONE of those things. I gave them all the updated info. I don't even know why there's a gal up in front. She answers the phone and that's it. They also do not allow cancellations - only make-up's. We were going out of town for a week and requested to cancel but were told we needed to make them up. My son was already going twice a week so I needed to go four times in one week after coming back?!?!?! All they care about is about money - their business practices are so archaic and the admin does absolutely nothing!!!! It's so unfortunate because the speech pathologist that my son was seeing was great. But going into this office twice a week with all of the disorganization, feeling like a dollar sign and no flexibility with scheduling was so off-putting. We would never recommend this place to anyone.

We arrived on time and have been waited for 20 mins near room - nothing was happening, no one welcomed us or guided us. To our surprise, later we received a message from an administrator claiming we had missed our appointment and offering to reschedule it. But during these 20 mins of waiting no no one attempted to contact us and let us know that we are waiting in a wrong place! In addition to time wasted, it also disrupted my child's mood - we had to take him from playing with friends for nothing. My advice to Valued Voices: be more respectful to the time of your clients. Time=value!

We had a consultation, and began weekly services shortly after. My son really enjoys Pawsitive Speech and loves playing with Ms. Jennifer! She provides a fun, warm and welcoming environment that is comfortable for the kids and is passionate about the speech development of her clients. She gives each child her full attention during session, and has so much patience! You can tell she really tailors her therapy to the specific needs of each child. It's not a one size fits all. I encourage all concerned parents to reach out for a consultation if you are having concerns regarding your child's speech delays, or if you're tired of waiting on insurance to find a provider for you. This was the best decision I could have made for my son. Thank you Ms Jennifer!

My husband and I explored about 10+ providers (some covered by insurance and some not...lynne alba, learning tree, OC speech, etc.) between Long Beach and Orange County. What we learned is: 1. Choose a provider that wants you (mom and dad) involved in the process. Sessions build the foundation and it then can be enforced at home 2. Choose a provider that isn't overloaded with clients so you can get a higher quality of care 3. Kids want to talk when they're excited so a dog for example can really help break the ice and allow your child to open up. That said, our experience with Jen has been phenomenal! She truly cares about my son and she's a mom herself so she knows how family dynamics can be and is understanding of that. She keeps us involved and truly goes above and beyond. This past halloween she coordinated a trick-or-treat tour with the nearby offices for her kids to have fun with!
