The waiting area is not crowded at all and is super spacious. We've been seeing Brandie and absolutely love her! She genuine, really outgoing and fun with my son and always has fun games and activities prepared for him to do as soon as he comes in. My baby cried a lot at first, but Clarissa always knew how to calm her down and turn sessions into play. Over time, there was much less resistance and she became more comfortable during sessions. When I go to a medical office, usually the admin will check PRIOR to my appointment if I'm within network and what the co-pay is so that when I get to my appointment, they know how much to collect. This place does NOT check before hand and will submit the claim and wait until it gets back from insurance and then shift the blame on you saying that it's the patient's responsibility to pay the co-pay. The information is ON THE insurance card. They didn't bother to look at any changes when I gave them the new card and kept billing me the old co-pay. And then sent me a huge bill and threatened to cancel all future appointments until the balance was paid in full. They did not even check before hand!! I work in the health field. I know what office staff should do PRIOR to a patient's appointment as well as having competent patient care skills - it's pretty basic. This place had NONE of those things. I gave them all the updated info. I don't even know why there's a gal up in front. She answers the phone and that's it. They also do not allow cancellations - only make-up's. We were going out of town for a week and requested to cancel but were told we needed to make them up. My son was already going twice a week so I needed to go four times in one week after coming back?!?!?! All they care about is about money - their business practices are so archaic and the admin does absolutely nothing!!!! It's so unfortunate because the speech pathologist that my son was seeing was great. But going into this office twice a week with all of the disorganization, feeling like a dollar sign and no flexibility with scheduling was so off-putting. We would never recommend this place to anyone.

We arrived on time and have been waited for 20 mins near room - nothing was happening, no one welcomed us or guided us. To our surprise, later we received a message from an administrator claiming we had missed our appointment and offering to reschedule it. But during these 20 mins of waiting no no one attempted to contact us and let us know that we are waiting in a wrong place! In addition to time wasted, it also disrupted my child's mood - we had to take him from playing with friends for nothing. My advice to Valued Voices: be more respectful to the time of your clients. Time=value!

The family is very happy that we found Windcrest at Regents Point in Irvine. Windcrest is managed very well. The facility is clean and the food is good. The professional care, frequent communication and obvious concern of the staff was a vast improvement over our previous experience at another facility. Not only the therapists, but also the attendants encourage the patient to keep a positive attitude and to try more physical activity. The team (including physical therapy, nursing, nutrition, and administration) held a meeting with the family to share their assessments and to keep us involved. Mary Ann Cabacungan, the Post-Acute Liaison, kept us posted, giving us straight information in a kind and caring way.
