When I came to see Scott, I was frustrated, doubtful and had real fear that I would have to live with my arm at a 90degree angle for ever. I told him my goals were to be able to bend my elbow to put my hair in a ponytail and to be able to bend it enough to be able to wash my face. I am happy to report that as of July - I can now do both of those things. With the help, patience and encouragement of both Scott and Jay I am making progress every day! There is a level of professionalism, kindness and caring that is rare. I would highly recommend Hands on Hands Rehabilitation to anyone looking for results! I would give 10's if I could!

I had my pcp refer me to a new place, this one, where I met Max and Brandon and all their wonderful aides. They treated me like an individual and not just someone lumped in with a group that they had to hurry and see and send on my way. They learned about me and pushed me when I was ready, and took it easy on me when needed. They were invested in my care which was so appreciated. I spent a few months there getting better and stronger before being discharged with the tools I needed to succeed at home. I was sad to leave! I paid for a physical therapist, but instead I got an unlicensed student…read more I am a longtime suffer of foot pain, and I attempted to continue physical therapy at California Therapy Solutions (CTS). I was assigned a student who, while knowledgeable, was inexperienced in a clinical setting. This was disappointing, but the student was enthusiastic and appeared to have a good understanding of my condition. After 2 visits, I had regressed quite a lot due to overloading a muscle group. I think the initial assessment of my strength and muscle stamina was incorrect and the student didn't modify my exercises appropriately. This resulted in severe cramping and muscle stiffness and has caused other conditions I have to flare-up. I am worse off now than when I started. I do not blame the student for my bad experience, but I do blame CTS for their poor therapy/training structure. The licensed physical therapist, named Bill, who was in the office, did not supervise the student. Bill did not assess me or observe the student while he was assessing me. Bill did not observe us while I was receiving instruction and performing exercises. I believe it is inappropriate for a student to be given full authority over patient assessment and treatment before they are a licensed professional. If you don't want a student treating you without supervision, I suggest you go to a different location. I canceled my future appointments and I will look for a different physical therapist after my flair-up calms down.

The waiting area is not crowded at all and is super spacious. We've been seeing Brandie and absolutely love her! She genuine, really outgoing and fun with my son and always has fun games and activities prepared for him to do as soon as he comes in. From office contacts to the therapists they provided, the organization reflected professionalism and care. Therapists Britney Baker OT and Jamil Kassam PT, were excellent! Their knowledge of exercise's, activities, and specific body movements have brought me to walking that I have not enjoyed for several years. Both Britany and Jamil were kind yet firm getting me to move correctly. They were always professional in their appearance and demeanor. For my three week home physical therapy NOI prescribed Mobile Therapy Specialists (MTS). I highly, highly recommended them. My physical therapist is Mark Singh, and he is wonderful and very professional. When he comes to my house, he has a massage table on which he performs my physical therapy. When he arrives, the first thing he does is check my blood pressure and temperature to make sure that I'm healthy enough to actually get my physical therapy. Then he massages my knee and starts to bend it for me. He is gentle and strong and by day three of his therapy I had my knee bending at 85°. Now I am doing exercises on my own as well to continue the bend and make my leg stronger. I can't tell you how thrilled I am with his work on my knee and MTS. If you need HOME physical therapy use MTS. www.MTSresults.com. And like their website says you will get great results. Last year the doctor prescribed the company called Luna. They were horrible. They taught me how to do exercises and they never touched me. Finding the Newport Hand Center was truly the luckiest part of my journey. Joanne and the entire team are absolutely amazing at what they can do. Over the course of a few months, I found myself going from constant pain and the inability to use my left hand to where I was back in the golf course a few months later. I am now nearing the 1 year mark from the surgery and can say I'm back to my old self and doing all of the activities I love. I have told everyone that will listen: I had an amazing surgeon who put me in a position to heal. Update: Much better experience!!…read more Since this is one of the only places my insurance takes for the OT I need, I gave them a second chance to begin my needed therapy after a hand injury. I called the Huntington Beach office (I was originally supposed to attend the Costa Mesa location) and spoke to someone different who was able to book an appointment for me with ease. I had a pleasant experience the second time around as the receptionist was kind and sympathetic to my situation. So far I've seen two therapists and both of them were wonderful! They listened to my concerns, took initial measurements of my mobility, and made sure I was comfortable and informed. They used a variety of techniques and tools to help strengthen and stretch my hand after my injury. With the daily exercises at home between my appointments, I am already seeing big improvements in my mobility and strength in my hand. The owner, Scott, was one of my therapists and he was very kind and open to hearing from me. I appreciate that he took the time to meet with me and address the difficulty I initially had in scheduling my initial appointment. He made sure I was taken care of for my future appointments before I left. It was evident that he cares for his patients and I look forward to continuing here for the duration of my treatment!

They really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and understand your healing process and what is important to help you have a smooth recovery. They don't push the therapy on you, which I liked and they really helped me to be able to help myself. I was able to get the care I needed and the tools to help me work on my hand and wrist and have proper healing and strengthening. I'd highly recommend. I have had minimal scarring as well thanks to the work and techniques they used to massage and exercise the area of my wrist/hand. The staff is also very personable and friendly and when you're at therapy you really feel inclusive and every one is kind and just shares conversation and positivity with everyone in the room. It's an open setting, which is nice because it makes you feel comfortable and welcome.
