It was founded in 1946 by Sam Sniderman. I met Sam, his son, many times when I went in there to pick up things when I was in the real estate business. From plumbing , heating, electrical supplies, equipment rentals, lawn and garden needs, windows, screens, pet supplies, keys made, Sam had a bit of everything. Today I need some fish eye screws for 1 of my cameras. For old time sakes I went over to Sniderman's and picked some up. Not much has changed, the aisles were always cluttered, customers in the old days could walk down them and look for what they wanted. They have a rope crossing the entrance now. The salespeople get things for you. No more lawn mowers, rollers, or wheel barrows on the sidewalk. But they still have a lot of things you may need.

A crew showed up once to review our bathroom project, yet we never received an actual estimate despite calling several times. After finally being promised a specific time frame for a second visit, no one showed up and no one followed up. We value local businesses, but we value our time more. Sadly, after a decade of loyalty, we won't be using them again.

However some attachments were missing. And being funny about cleanliness I went on the hunt to find them First stop Walmart, nothing! Second stop by another Walmart customer, The Home Depot, Jackpot. :) One thing I would like to say is: Home Depot has Vacuums in one isle, and Vacuum parts in another isle. This doesn't make sense to me. I suggested to one of the sales people they should put everything together.

The business was founded in 1936 I've always liked the old fashion, traditional hardware stores. Nowadays they're fading away due to the big guys, but there are some old soldiers left. And this place is 1 of them. Weinberger Hardware handles window and screen repairs, small engine repairs. (lawnmowers,snowblowers, etc.) lock re-keying and keys made.
