The Rochester Colonial team was highly skilled, professional, and incredibly respectful of my home. Unlike other contractors I've used in the past, they used plastic barriers to wall off the work area so dust and dirt didn't spread throughout the house. They paid attention to every detail and even mopped the floor before leaving. The craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer care exceeded my expectations. I went to Rochester colonial looking for a sliding glass door. All employees were busy. A gentleman took our name and number and said someone would call us back. Never received a call. Then we called back 3 weeks later spoke to an employee who took our measurements and said he would call back shortly with some prices. STILL NEVER received a call back. I guess they dontcare about you if you want just a sliding glass door. Little did they know we will also be buying windows but not through them! Not good customer service! read more

Recently had my front door and side window replaced by Rochester Colonial, several years ago I had a slider replaced by them. When I had the slider replaced, the sales rep came out, went over everything, this time everything was done over the phone. No complaints doing business over the phone, just seemed weird. Both times, they arrived promptly, did a great job, great product, and no complaints. To be honest my handyman comes over when I have work done so I have to take his word! lol Anyway another great thing about Rochester Colonial is that they have they have all the necessary paperwork that condo home owner association's require. Cost of the job seemed ok, my friends told me I could do better, but I was happy with the replaced slider several years ago. If I have a need for doors or windows again, will definitely use them again. read more

I have nothing but Great comments for Rochester Colonial. I had a new kitchen window installed and I needed to stain the sash before it could be installed so it would match the existing sash. They were more than willing to deliver the sash, wait for me to stain it and then come and install it. I also purchased 2 new screens for the window. When the new screens came they did not fit the window. Michael Gionta took the time to come to my home to see why the screens didn't fit and he had new screens made so that they would fit our windows. He took care of this problem in a very timely manner and very professionally. I am extremely pleased with the service we received from this company and it's employees. I usually do not write reviews unless unless I am super dissatisfied but for past few days I felt like I needed to write. I have windows that are 4 years old past the warrenty, I do have life time on parts but labor would be a charge. I just want to thank them for taking care of me. Chris Gionta and Steve Trotta greeted me with a warm welcome and were genuinely interested in helping me find the right patio door for my house. They asked all the right questions and based on my answers were able to show me doors with the finishes and features I was looking for. Their knowledge about the products they had available was remarkable and made me feel confident that I was purchasing a well-crafted patio door. Matt and Craig arrived and made sure to walk me through the entire process. Their professionalism and craftsmanship was outstanding.
