Poor service! Repaired the door 18 days ago replacing the pair of coil springs. The door will not operate i.e. will not close at all.

Their process involves deceptive pricing structures, a complete lack of upfront communication, and shocking customer service. * The Pricing Trick: Two weeks ago, I called them because my garage door felt heavy. They quoted me $250 over the phone to fix a spring. After inspecting it, they told me the spring wasn't broken yet, but they completely failed to mention any service or trip fees. When the spring actually broke a day later, I hired them based on that $250 phone quote. * The Bait-and-Switch: Once the job was done today, the final bill was suddenly over $350. When I questioned why it was higher than the quote, the installer condescendingly "schooled" me, claiming my door had two springs and they "never just replace one." If that is industry standard, the person on the phone should have clarified that upfront instead of using a low quote to get their foot in the door. * Unacceptable, Hostile Behavior: The installer was curt, miserable, and incredibly rude. After I paid him and he walked away, he actually made a special trip back to knock on my front door just to argue with me again, insulting my property and calling my yard "swampy." In reality, he bizarrely chose to hike through the woods and climb through a back chain-link fence instead of simply using the clearly visible vinyl side gate right by the house. Even my normally sweet dog immediately picked up on his aggressive, hostile energy. The job got done, but it came with hidden fees, mansplaining, and an installer who went out of his way to intimidate and insult a customer on their own property. Avoid this business.

I noticed that my garage door opener was struggling a bit more than it should to open my garage…read moredoor so I called Precision Door service, who had done some work on my door before. They told me for a $60 service call. They could come out and evaluate the door and lube it and advise if there was anything that needed to be done. I made an appointment for the next week and the technician showed up promptly. He did call and text to let me know he was coming too. He did an inspection of the door and found that the cable on the right side was rusted almost all the way through and pretty close to breaking. Also, there was only one spring to open the door so it didn't lift up easily or stay up. He recommended putting two springs in Which is pretty much the standard. He gave me four different proposals, each one adding on a little bit more service. I chose the third of four proposals. It included putting in new cables, two new springs, all new rollers and bearings on the sides, and lubing it completely. When he took out the one cable that was rusted, he remarked that it was probably one to two months away from breaking. So I'm glad I called them. Also, our door had rust on the bottom on the outside, which was very visible. Probably one to 2 inches all the way across the door. He advised that I should wire brush it down some, and spray paint it with white Rustoleum paint. It now looks almost brand new And operates like it's brand new too. I highly recommend Precision Door Service for your garage door needs!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, buyer beware. I had a new Liftmaster garage…read moresystem put in and nine months later, the garage wall unit stopped working and it was still under warranty. The installer was great and I have no concerns about him. My concern lies with their customer service. Here is the catch, they want to charge a service call to replace a part that is under warranty, that Precision sold me and installed. Most legitimate companies would replace the item at no cost and no service fee. I spoke with Ron the owner and he said because of gas, time blah blah, they have to charge a service fee. Not my issue Ron, maybe sell a product that last longer than nine months. I strongly suggest using a different garage door company that offers better customer service. I will never recommend or use Precision Garage door in the future.
