It took a little while for them to return our call but eventually everything worked out. It was quite obvious that they were extremely busy and returning calls timely was a problem. The actual work done by Nate was outstanding. He was meticulous in his workmanship. He was also extremely patient in going over the options for replacing the tiles and hearth. We are so happy with the result & would advise anyone to give them a chance. But be patient as it still is crazy getting any contractors to stick to timelines as the pandemic continues.

After several change orders and numerous calls on my part to get the correct materials to complete the job, the total cost of the project was almost double what was originally quoted. Now less than a year after the work was completed, there are several spots where the soffits are falling away from the fascia and they are not willing to send someone to fix their work. We have had several home renovation projects recently and have hired several different contractors. Patriot has been by far the worst we have dealt with. They ended up being our most expensive option after all the change orders, they had poor communication, poor planning, and we received little to no resolution once their quoting error was discovered. To top it off, now that their work is failing, they are not sending anyone to fix it and make it right. My lessons learned from this experience: Get multiple quotes and take one of the middle options. Hire a contractor that has their own workers, no subcontractors. You might pay a little more for the work to be done, but it will be done right.

The sales team -- especially Mike G. -- was spectacular. They spent several hours with me over multiple visits helping me understand how to evaluate different options and ultimately recommending the best solution for my specific situation. I never felt pressured, only supported and well-informed. The installation experience was perhaps one of the best I've ever had with any home improvement company. The Rochester Colonial team was highly skilled, professional, and incredibly respectful of my home. Unlike other contractors I've used in the past, they used plastic barriers to wall off the work area so dust and dirt didn't spread throughout the house. They paid attention to every detail and even mopped the floor before leaving. The craftsmanship, professionalism, and customer care exceeded my expectations. I couldn't recommend Rochester Colonial more highly.

Initial Frustration; Ultimate Satisfaction…read more I ordered a Polaris door and sidelights from RBA of WNY at the end of 2017 and it was installed in March/April of 2018. The first sales call was great but we didn't purchase anything until the 2nd sales call when a bigger discount was provided. The rep, of course, tried to up-sell windows to us, but we declined. When the door and sidelights were installed, they were the wrong color and the privacy rating was MUCH less than what I was told it would be. I was EXTREMELY frustrated. In addition, the door itself was warped and there was condensation in between the panes of glass. RBA of WNY was responsive to my complaints and eventually I ended up with EXACTLY what I wanted and am so happy with my purchase. If I had purchased the door elsewhere, from a company that subcontracted the installation, I doubt I would have gotten the problem resolved (sales would have tried to blame the installers and vice versa). Everyone in the RBA organization was responsive, prompt, and understanding. While mine wasn't a big job for them, they made me feel as important as if I was their #1 client.

They have some nerve asking if the man of the house is home, because they rather speak to him, about the product they're selling than me. Definitely will not be going to use this company when we decide to buy new windows. Retraining needs to be done ASAP about how to approach a home. Wether a man or a woman answers the door, it is none of there business asking if the man of the house is home, because they rather speak to him, and sell the merchandise to him only.

After consulting with several different firms we chose to deal with Wonder Windows for the work to…read morebe done at our home in Eden NY because they had the best product with the best insulating qualities and the best price. Since the windows were built to our specifications it took about 1 1/2 months between contract signing and actual work to begin. Between August 4th and August 7th the 4 man crew of Brad, Nick, Danny & Sean worked on our home. Incredibly, the rough installation of the 14 windows was complete on the first day with 3 windows left to install due to the wall reconfiguration that was needed. On day 2, the crew returned and spent the entire day working on finish installing the windows. Around each window, insulating was carefully done to make sure that every possible way that outside air could infiltrate was sealed off. On days 3 & 4, part of the crew concentrated on completing the trim work. The rest removed 3 windows and installed 2 of the 3 in different areas of the wall after demolition and wall reconstruction was completed. The last window was smaller that the one removed of adjustments to the wall opening needed to be made. For this part, the owner came in from Rochester NY to oversee the 2 day project. During the work and at the end of each day the area around and inside our house was cleaned up so that the area was kept very clean. Inside, many drop cloths were used to minimize the mess that was being created. Several times during each day, we were encouraged to review the installation from inside the house and make sure the installation being done was being done as we wanted and to inspect the windows as well so any adjustments could be made, if needed. The few minor details that we pointed out were immediately rectified and we were asked to reinspect to be sure it was done, again to our satisfaction. Brad, Nick, Danny & Sean were incredible. They worked as a team. We were encouraged to also periodically check the outside work, again the be sure it was being done exactly as we wanted. All of our questions were answered with full explanations and, unlike other firm's employees, without being made to feel like nuisance. Many times during each day, Brad would explain where they were in terms of the project and where the next phase of the work would begin. After completion, we were again asked to review their work both inside and outside of the home. The installation was incredibly beautiful and no problems were found. This was an instance of picking the right firm for the job. It was also the right firm to deal with because of their employees. Brad, Nick, Danny & Sean were polite and very friendly. Their work was outstanding and their being there made us believe that we made the right choice. We really encourage anyone needing window installation or replacement to make no decisions until you check with Window World.
