When the spring actually broke a day later, I hired them based on that $250 phone quote. * The Bait-and-Switch: Once the job was done today, the final bill was suddenly over $350. When I questioned why it was higher than the quote, the installer condescendingly "schooled" me, claiming my door had two springs and they "never just replace one." If that is industry standard, the person on the phone should have clarified that upfront instead of using a low quote to get their foot in the door. * Unacceptable, Hostile Behavior: The installer was curt, miserable, and incredibly rude.
