I've been living in this area for a while, have driven past this place and not paid attention until a Sunday search said that this spot was close and had had my newest craving...nachos with jalapeños!!! After a short drive, we pulled up, parking was ample and seating was as well. I saw that they are open everyday, rain or shine, have a drive thru and when we have our couple of months of cold weather...they serve hot chocolate. They have an extensive menu, combos and toppings. The ice was soft and the nachos were hot. Wait time was just right and since the weather was not boiling, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the breeze and some games. Had no idea this place existed! I was craving a snow cone and saw a place down hwy 6 that was closed even though their insta said their hours. The yelp review warned me! So since we were out and about I found this place through google. Cute property, had a drive thru, yard games and plenty of picnic table seating. I ordered my standard blue coconut with cream which was delicious! And my husband tried out a flight. He ordered dream boat, pirates brew, funfetti, and mangonada. I don't recommend the funfetti one BUT all the others were delicious! Going to have to bring my stepdaughter here, I think she'll love it. read more

My favorite is the Sugar Free Blue Raspberry (my favorite regular one is Margarita... hoping they have a sugar free margarita soon!) My husband's favorite is the Sugar Free Blue Bubblegum. I live right down the street from this place and it never fails to satisfy my snacking needs. From my favorite stuffed dreamsicle snow cones to various beverages I may need on the fly, the quality of their food is second only to that of their customer service and hospitality. During my last visit specifically, I had ordered a couple of snow cones to-go in their drive through. As I received the snow cones however, I turned away from the service window over to my passenger seat to set the to-go carrier down when disaster struck. I tilted the carrier just enough to cause one of the two cones to fall off and bounce not once, but twice off my passenger seat and the floor in front of it where my snow cone met a most gruesome fate. It was almost too difficult to look but alas, the top half had been completely decapitated and the cup itself had taken what looked to be a fatal impact. As I reached down to inspect the integrity of the cup and its remains, I discovered that the side of the cup had indeed caved in allowing melted dreamsicle to bleed out. "My good sir, say it isn't so!" *sigh* "It is..." The cone was obliterated. And to add insult to injury, my floor mat was covered in orange dreamy sweetness. With what remained of my will to move on, I quickly drove forward and pulled over a few feet away and out of drive through traffic in order to tend to the damage. However, in the wake of the aftermath, as I was shaking off my floor mat onto the grass, I was approached by the nicest employees that had witnessed the entire nightmare play out. They offered me a replacement snow cone to which I graciously declined. This was my fault and I was ready to accept that. I told the girls that it was alright and not to worry, after which they reluctantly retreated. A few moments later however they came back out to me and notified me that the construction of another snow cone was already underway thanks to the quick reaction of their teammates. At this point I didn't want to trouble them any further and informed the kind employee that I would be happy to take the replacement cone. What I did not expect was for her to come back a few moments later with TWO replacement cones. I was inarticulate. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the quality of service these girls provided me. So much so that it most certainly warranted my writing this absolutely unnecessary detailed account of what happened to me that day. As you would expect, I was able to CAREFULLY secure the now THREE snow cones in my vehicle and transported them home safely. Huge thanks to Alison, Madison, Emma, and Elizabeth for going above and beyond the call of duty and upholding what I can only assume to be the highest traditions of Weekley's Shaved Ice & Snacks. It is because of customer service like theirs that I would give this establishment 6 stars if only I could. read more

It was a hot summer day when we experienced Weekley's snow cones for the very first time. It's located right across from Manvel High. Driving up, we notice a small wooden building which wasn't much bigger than the size of a food truck. Gravel lines the parking lot, driveway and walking path. When you walk up, they've got a menu to the side of the ordering window. After you order, you can go to the left side of the building to wait near the pick up window. It was while we were out there waiting that we noticed the drive-thru on the back side of the building. That's when the U-shaped driving path made sense. On the opposite building side of the pick up window is where the bathroom is. I wasn't expecting there to be one but good to know for those of us with kids. While waiting outside for our snow cones, it was super hot. It would be nice if they put up an awning or something to provide a bit of shelter from the glaring heat while we wait for our orders. My son and I shared a Flight option. It comes with four - four ounce snow-cone cups. We chose blue bubblegum, cotton candy, mango and watermelon for our four flavors. My husband opted for three flavors on his small (12oz) snow cone: blue bubblegum, root beer and some other flavor he couldn't remember. I'm guessing that flavor must not have been that great if there's no memory of it. As for me and my son, we loved all four flavors in our Flight! The mango and watermelon were my favorites. The cotton candy and bubblegum were more like my childhood favorites that I just can't give up so I always get either, or, or both. They were a bit too sweet when compared with the mango and watermelon flavors but on its own, without having the others, it's just fine. My son loved the mango flavor! I have to admit, we finished our Flight in record time and went back for more. I got a cotton candy and my son wanted a mango but my husband got him a bubblegum instead. He still enjoyed it. Nothing beats a snow cone from here on a hot summer day. Eating it outside, on a picnic bench with trees overhead for shade....brings back some good childhood memories. Off on the far side of the property are trees that provide some shade from the sun. It's in this area that they have five wooden picnic-style benches all spread out. On the lawn, they've got corn hole games. There's a plastic crate packed full of wood blocks you can use to play Jenga or whatever else you feel like. If you don't like little bugs, well it might be best if you went through the drive-thru. My son freaked over an ant on our table. I ended up with a tiny green baby cricket that somehow fell on my lap while I was sitting on the bench. No big deal. We're in the country after all and under trees also, so it's to be expected. We definitely want to come back. Maybe later in the afternoon or early evening time so it's not so hot out. Or even just drive by and grab a snow-cone from their drive-thru.
