Was in the area so had to stop by the Puddery. It's been on my to do list since I saw all the news about it. It's a bit of a hard place to find, at the end of a small plaza next to a school. The store is small, the waiting area no bigger than a walk-in closet. Service is minimal but friendly and fast. You order yourself on an iPad. The hype has mostly died down, so there was no line, but they still have a pretty steady stream of customers coming in. I got the strawberry banana pudding and the chocolate berry me cup. Both were about $8 each. I'll be honest, I thought most banana puddings were the same, but I was wrong. This banana pudding was light, whipped, smooth, and creamy. It had a good amount of layers with the vanilla wafers, intermixed with cuts of strawberry. And while it looks like a small portion, it was really filling, a good size for one person. The chocolate strawberry cups are made to order. Again, while you probably could get it cheaper doing it yourself, the strawberries were perfectly juicy and sweet. The chocolate sauce was smooth and tempered, truly making it a delicious bite. Definitely will need to be back to try their other options!
This rating is based specifically on the original banana pudding. It has all the makings of a great banana pudding: vanilla wafers, real bananas, creamy pudding (pudding plus whipped cream). However, I give it a 7.5/10. It taste fresh, not artificial, its just very sweet/rich & has a lot of pudding. There is a decent amount of wafers but the ratio of wafers to pudding is not enough for me and with so much rich pudding it was just too sweet for my taste buds. My summary is if you like really sweet desserts & ok with banana pudding that has more pudding than wafers & ok with pudding that's mixed with whip cream, you will like it because the flavor is really good. If you like your banana pudding with lots of wafers, prefer tasting more wafers than pudding or dont like super sweet desserts (banana pudding) it may not be your most favorite banana pudding. It is definitely worth giving them a try & judge for yourself. Next time I would try the croffle and the bread pudding to get a larger sampling of the menu.
FINALLLYYYY tried the puddery in pearland and boy was it worth it. They specialize in banana pudding and also make croffles. I got the og and also tried my friend's biscoff one. I was literally addicted after the first bite. It was so delectable that each bite tasted as if it was my first one. We both got a small and honestly it's more than enough for one person. They include real banana slices and wafers. I loved how the wafers are thin unlike magnolia bakery in nyc. Magnolia's banana pudding is more creamier but I would still choose this one over it for the overall taste. This place was so fire, Keith Lee was right on the spot when he glazed this place
Missed our chance to visit the Puddery last trip but made sure not to repeat the same mistake. We were greeted by the owners daughter Jaden (sp?), who explains the ordering process to us. It's a walk up bakery, no seating, digital ordering system and you're out the door which is nice. We went with the biscoff and caramel banana pudding's. Both were bursting with flavor. I was already partial to biscoff cookies so the biscoff pudding was easily my favorite. The pudding is airy, cool whipped based. If you're looking for old school banana pudding where granny stood over the stove stirring the milk, layering the cookies to produce a thick pudding texture, this is not that. It's good, but manage your texture expectations as whipped based puddings have a much lighter texture but no shortness on taste. Lots of flavors were available so it may be challenging to decide.
No shade....but The Puddery did not live up to the hype for me. I guess it's all about how you like your banana pudding. Maybe? This was more like a mousse-y texture. I prefer actual creamy pudding. My friend and I ordered the oreo and classic but the only thing different about the two are the cookies. The pudding is the same. My friend and I were both disappointed. This was not worth the drive.
Keith Lee brought us here with his review. Long lines because it's very small inside and you order at the kiosk. No cash and they text you when you're order is ready and you pick up at the window. Almost everything on the menu was sold-out. We ordered whatever they had available. $35 for 4 items.
I had heard about this place over a year ago and I still hadn't made it. Once I put in the directions I remembered why: it's in the heart of old Pearland. But you know what? We will travel for good food and we saw they were also on Goldbelly so we headed down south. Parking: easy and lots of spaces Ordering: self ordering kiosk and someone came to the window to guide me through it Seating: all outside and about 4-5 tables Pudding: We got the strawberry, Oreo, and caramel. Two of them were a day old and they were selling them at half price-bonus! She told us they will last in the fridge for three days and they have a travel time of about two hours without a cooler. We ate the strawberry one immediately and it was super rich and the cookies tasted homemade. I wish there were more strawberries in it. The caramel and Oreo ones were really good too. They are very rich and very sweet so you better have a strong sweet tooth because I do not. Great place to go to and everyone was so friendly and kind to my child. Delicious puddings!
My friend put me on to this spot and I'm so glad she did. It's a tiny little place with just a kiosk to order, but don't let that fool you. There were tables for us to sit outside. The Croffle was a dream! The waffle was the perfect crispy, and that pudding was silky, creamy, and lowkey addictive. I didn't plan to finish the whole thing... but I did and I have no regrets. Definitely worth a visit. I'll be back for sure!
I don't even know where to begin! Do I start with where this cute little bakery is located? (in Pearland inside the Pearland Plaza on Broadway St)? Or, do I start with the sweet beautiful young lady that greeted me with a warm welcome and an even warmer smile? Or, do I start with the young woman's thorough rundown of all the bakery had to offer and how to get started as a first-timer? Or, do I start with the velvety, whipped goodness of the banana pudding cups I ordered? I'm not sure! Lol. Listen, if you have never been to The Puddery what the heck are you waiting for?!? This place is a whole vibe and your tastebuds will experience luxe desserts at its finest and for a reasonable price! I could not decide which banana pudding I wanted to start with for my first (of many) visits, so I chose two to get the party started! I went with the Oreo and Biscoff banana puddings. I received the goods quickly, after ordering which was great because my mouth was watering! Let me just say, I opened the Oreo first, and it was like dipping my spoon in a cloud and savoring whipped goodness with first the chocolatey kiss of Oreos and fresh bananas. Omg! Later, it was the same with the Biscoff, it was like my tastebuds were being hugged by the distinct flavor of biscoff! Yum! It was love at first bite for me! I smiled immediately and new this would not be the last time for me. The Puddery, where have you been all my life?!? Wow!! Dearest Reader, are you still sitting there? Get up! Go! Try it for yourself. I promise you will not be disappointed! Enjoy!
So I wanted to see what the Keith Lee hype was all about and decided to pass by on Saturday afternoon. No line. Self checkout kiosk to order and pay for your food. The wait time was 15 minutes. They banana puddings were good. So I got the biscoff banana pudding and the original banana pudding. I really liked the biscoff banana pudding. It was very sweet. I enjoyed the banana puddings but I wouldn't say it's the best I have ever eaten but it is pretty decent.
BELIEVE THE HYPE!! It's worth the drive too.. delicious and delectable. Small area no room to sit. Quick service. You'll want to come back
The Keith Lee Effect is still in effect, but it has calmed down. I was familiar with The Puddery prior to Keith Lee because of Yelp. I don't like pudding, so I never gave this place much thought. Had I known they had other dessert options, I would have tried it sooner. They have streamlined the ordering process and have hired more staff so the wait times have significantly improved. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. The line to order at the tablet was short and we were able to wait inside. The business is extremely small. I noticed that a lot of people were waiting in their cars. You will receive a text message when your order is ready. In addition to the tablet, you can also place orders online. Pudding orders don't take too long, however croffles take time to prepare because they are made to order. My friend received his pudding within 5 minutes of ordering. My croffle took about 10 minutes. The young lady at the counter noticed that my friend's pudding was getting warm while we waited on my order so she ended up swapping out the pudding for a cold one which was so thoughtful! While we waited, we met a gentleman that drove in from Stafford. It was his first time visiting. He ordered his pudding, ate it in the car, got out of the car, and placed another order which was pretty awesome. There's a few tables outside and we were able to grab a table before they filled up. I don't like pudding (I can't stand the texture) or bananas. I was disappointed to see that many of the menu items have banana in it. I did try a small bite of the Oreo Banana Pudding and the flavor was actually very good! I couldn't taste any banana flavor in it which was fine with me lol. I hated the texture though. I ordered the Chocolate Strawberry Croffle. It was served hot and it was messy, but good! It would be helpful if they had knives. The croffle is impossible to cut with a flimsy plastic fork. I ate half of it there and took the rest home. I used a butter knife with the plastic fork and the fork still broke. I guess they're meant to be eaten with your hands, but I didn't want my hands to get messy. In addition to pudding cups and croffles, they sell pudding bowls and frozen cheesecake on a stick. They do not sell any beverages. When we left, the line to order was out the door and down the sidewalk. We were lucky that we didn't have to wait too long to place our order. Take my opinion of the pudding with a grain of salt. If you like pudding, you're going to like The Puddery.
I am a fan of the quality of the banana pudding here, and I am so happy for the traction that was gained from Keith Lee's TikTok. The store has a line that sometimes wraps to the end of the building, but it usually goes by pretty quickly. The quality of the banana pudding is delicious, it's light & sweet. I do like my banana pudding on the creamy side with a more prominent banana flavor, but I do like it whipped. Every time that I go, majority of the menu is already sold out, even if I come by early which is disappointing. I've gone to this place over 5 times now & have only tried the original banana pudding, but I do hope that one day I can try something different. The suite is extremely small, with only kiosks for ordering and enough room for maybe 2 people which can be uncomfortable. They do not accept cash & you will receive a text message when your order is ready. I cannot speak for the overall customer service because the only exchange with the staff is when picking up your order. There is plenty of parking as well. I do hope to see this business move to a more convenient space suited better for their traffic & better stocked. I also think having more than just kiosks for ordering would be better as well, with more options!

If you're looking for a dessert that tastes like it came straight from a family cookout or Sunday dinner, this banana pudding is it. From the very first bite, you can tell it was made with care. The pudding is rich, smooth, and creamy without being overly sweet, allowing the fresh banana flavor to shine through. The bananas were perfectly ripe--not too firm and not mushy--which gave every bite a naturally sweet, fresh taste. The vanilla wafers had softened just enough to absorb the creamy pudding while still maintaining a little texture, creating that classic homemade banana pudding consistency. Every layer was balanced, so you got pudding, bananas, and cookies in each spoonful instead of one ingredient overpowering the others. What really stood out was how fresh everything tasted. Nothing had that artificial or overly processed flavor. It was comforting, nostalgic, and reminded me of the kind of banana pudding served at family gatherings. The portion size was generous and easily shareable, though you'll probably want it all to yourself. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a few extra vanilla wafers on top for a little crunch, but that's simply personal preference. Overall, this was an excellent dessert that finished the meal on a high note. Creamy, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and absolutely worth ordering again. Highly recommend if you're a fan of classic Southern-style banana pudding. read more
The Puddery popped up on my TikTok, so I had to see what all the hype was about and it definitely delivered! We tried the Biscoff and Keith Lee Oreo croffles, and both were amazing. Crispy, buttery, flaky, and piled high with toppings. The Biscoff had that perfect caramelized cookie flavor, and the Oreo was rich, creamy, and decadent. Inside is bright and cheerful. The staff was super friendly! It was a little busy when we got there, but our order came out surprisingly fast. The portions are generous, everything was fresh, and you can tell they put care into what they make. If you've been seeing The Puddery on your TikTok, consider this your sign to go. We'll definitely be back to try more flavors! read more

So a few things get here BEFORE they open and still probably expect a line. They are used to the demand so the line is pretty efficient once it gets going - currently they have a limit of 4 on the pudding. I've had a lot of banana pudding and theirs is soo good - I got the strawberry and regular puddings since those most appealed to me and when I pass my next exam I'll be going back and getting another of each. Keith Lee may have put them on the map - they definitely live up to the hype. People travel from all over just for their pudding so wherever you are located while you are reading this - its worth the travel and I highly recommend them. read more

I drove all the way here from Katy! A good 1hr but I really love me some desserts and if Keith Lee says it's good I had to try myself ! First : The line I came on a Saturday around 2. There was a slight line but nothing crazy it moves pretty quickly actually. The line is just to order your food. The restaurant has 2 kiosk where you can order. They limited the menu to popular items. You go in order and then come out. They text you when your order is ready you can either wait in your car or hand out in the other line. It was a nice day and we had the kids so we hung out in the other line then went back to our car I'll say the whole thing was about 30-45 mins. What we ordered : Strawberry banana pudding : yuhhhhh it's good !!! It's not your average banana pudding ! I do wish it had a little bit more strawberry but it's good! The biscoff cheesecake: MY FAVORITE !!! And I don't even like cheesecake !!! It is VERY SWEET!!! So if you not into sweets this might be too much for you but for me I ate it in two days and wanted more The Keith Lee ( the Oreo crissont waffle ) : this was my least favorite which is crazy mind you it's delicious !!! But it's not that sweet which is crazy by the looks of it . This is for ppl who don't like desserts to be super sweet! It's good not overwhelmingly sweet. But it's not my type of dessert I like mine with sugar lol . In total I spent 31 and some change ( 1 pudding , 1 cheesecake , 2 Keith Lee) . A few days after I got a coupon for 2$ off! Might have to make that drive back ! Follow me on tikTok: @soveryloud I document my eats from time to time ! read more
Like many people who brave the line long outside The Puddery, I was inspired to support this business after TikTok food critic Keith Lee enthusiastically gave his stamp of approval. Palate-wise he seems to preference savory over sweet and stated in his review video that The Piuddery's banana pudding is the best dessert he's ever tried. So, with that in mind, it stood out as a must try kind of place. Regarding the dessert offerings, I thought the varieties of banana pudding were so delicious, but the Oreo Croffle (now named the Keith Lee Croffle) was good but perhaps not quite on the same level. The Strawberry Banana Pudding (5/5) really appealed to me as a strawberry lover, and the regular Banana Pudding (5/5) was also great. The best part of the Oreo Croffle (4/5) is the texture, crunch and presentation. But alas, it is also very sweet, so I decided to split it in half and share it with someone. I think this dessert would benefit from more vanilla, an additional flavor and perhaps incorporating Oreo crumbs into the cream. On a different note, while I do really appreciate this unique business, I think it would benefit from: better line management, more presence of the owner and employees in front of house, a stronger website and perhaps a system whereby people can order online for more efficient pickup. Sending someone out to speak to the crowd waiting in line was a good move, but a long line could also become a deterrent for some people. Overall, though, I think this is a great business people can get excited about. read more

Who hasn't heard about this place at this point?! Let me preface this with : I don't LOVE banana pudding. It's not something I would go out of my way to order. But after hearing all the chatter about this place and realizing I pass by it daily I conceded and went by. On a Thursday evening they were VERY busy . How it works : You go into the building and order on tablets - when your order is ready the system texts you , you have to go to the counter and tell them & they'll give you your order . I ordered 1 of each flavor offered -Original -Banana Carmel -Oreo - Strawberry They are all DECADENT and delicious . Picking a favorite would be hard but If I HAD to it would probably be the original . WORTH THE HYPE . Worth $8 a piece ? Questionable, but because it's so rich I don't think it's something I could eat on my own in one sitting which makes the price easier to handle for me. You need to try it at-least once ! read more
I came here when the place just opened for the day at 12pm. There was already a line. The wait was less than 25 minutes so it wasn't too bad. If you were paying cash, you will have to wait until one of the staff helps you. If you pay with card, you can order through the 2 tablets they have. The one against the wall on the table wasn't able to read card payment so you'll have to type in the info manually (only if you don't want to cancel your order and redo it). I didn't feel comfortable in typing my card info so I went to the other tablet on the counter which took card payment fine. It's nice that you can get a text message when your order is ready. The size of the dessert was small and the price for it was a bit much. The banana pudding itself was good with real bananas and more on the sweeter side. It definitely is better than a typical banana pudding: the texture is fluffy. I wouldn't wait or pay for that much again, though. read more

On Thurs., 3/27, I patronized this place for the first time. I drove all the way from Katy. I did not know this place existed until Keith Lee. My experience was absolutely AMAZING! When I first got there, the young lady greeted me with a smile and outstanding customer service. She was so nice and sweet. She asked if this was my 1st time. I told her yes. She explained how everything worked and let me know she was there if I needed help. She had the most gracious attitude. I ordered the regular banana pudding, caramel banana pudding, and the Keith Lee Croffle. The young lady told the wait time on the croffle due to the owner is the only one who makes it and it is made to order. KHOU11 was there doing an interview with the owner, so she said it will be a few more minutes. I told her it was fine and that I drove from Katy and a few more minutes wasn't going to bother me. The young lady kept checking in and apologizing for the wait. Customer service was TOP TIER!! LISTEN...everything was sooo good. I took a bite into that croffle and I about fell out it was so good, lol!! I think it is Bavarian creme on there. It was so soft and light. Not too sweet just right. You can tell it was made with love. The puddings were really good and didn't taste like boxed pudding. The young lady told me due to the wait, they were going to put a free cheesecake in there. I told her thank you, but she doesn't have to do that. I understood about the wait. I was totally fine. When I got my bag, there was a Biscoff cheesecake in there. She didn't have to do that. But the way they acknowledged the wait time, it was very much appreciated. Oh, the cheesecake was very good too. Everything Keith said about this place is true. These desserts are so good and the customer service is A1! I will definitely be back. This drive was so worth it! read more

Ambiance: The location is designed to be a quick get in and out type of experience; and I loved it. I also loved how they showcased the desserts upon entering, it made the selection easier. Order: I ordered the regular banana pudding and my husband ordered the Caramel. We waited about 20minutes for our order, The pictures of both looked great and upon receiving the items we were excited. Once we digging in I was unhappy to find that we received banana pudding that looked to be 24hrs old as the color of the bananas was really really brown and the vanilla wafers were super super soft. I threw it away. Strawberry lemonade: the lemonade was sweet but tarte. I was not a fan of it; but my husband loved it. It really comes down to the taste buds and what you prefer. Overall experience: I think we went on a bad day because I've heard positive reviews; but I wouldn't travel across town for it due to my experience. I'd opt to just make it at home. read more

The Biscoff Frozen Cheesecake on a stick is a stand out dessert and easily the star of the show! We'd come back just for that alone. We also tried the Caramel Banana Pudding, Oreo Banana Pudding, and Biscoff Banana Pudding. All were fun and tasty if you like sweeter mousse like pudding. We showed up near closing time, so unfortunately the croffle was already sold out...but that just gives us an excuse to come back! The shop itself is pretty tiny, with no indoor seating and just a few spots for outdoor seating. The staff were super friendly and gave good recommendations! read more

Pudding Heaven does exist! It was fresh and refreshing!!! Please read this. I have been here, before to grab dessert for family and of course nothing for me. Well now there is a me added to the pickup. Let me share the why!!! Newly, added to the menu is the banana pudding and it's heavenly, creamy, euphoric and all around deliciousness filled with Oreo cookies, flavor and mmmm bananas. The owner is on-site and very pleasant. It's a small shop, however it does provide out door seating to enjoy one of the various and many flavors offered. Thanks for supporting vegan palate and diet. read more

A small hidden shop located in old pearland with ample parking and a simple menu. Like everyone else, I wanted to try out this place due to Keith Lees review but i decided to wait until the hype died down. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there were no lines and plenty of tables to sit in. Menu was on a iPad where you paid and orders from. I went with the Oreo croffle and caramel banana pudding. Both really good and sweet. Definitely worth checking this place out read more

I had been craving banana pudding so I decided to make the drive to try out The Puddery. Something to note before your visit, they are cashless. The original banana pudding was sold out so I purchased the strawberry and caramel flavors. Both very delicious, fluffy and just enough sweetness. I do wish there were more wafers throughout. The owner was SO pleasant and welcoming. Although it was busy, my order was ready in no time. read more

The shop was not busy, so we were able to get our order really fast. The Keith Lee coffee was delicious and my favorite thus far. The others were delicious as well. I will definitely go back to try the other options. read more
Finally got around to giving this place a try. I purchased the regular banana pudding. The strawberry was sold out. Small, clean, tucked away in a strip mall in Pearland. Ordering is done at kiosks and you wait outside for your order. The pudding has a nice taste with a creamy texture. I wish there was a more balanced ratio of pudding, bananas and cookies. Not enough bananas or cookies. It was a cup of great tasting pudding. Definitely worth the try especially if you like your banana pudding that way. Staff were friendly and efficient! read more
The Keith Lee effect is real! I came on Sunday around 4PM and waited in line for about 10 minutes (maybe like 8 people in front of me) to order. It's a to-go style spot so not a place you'll sit and eat at. I ordered the Biscoff crowaffle and the caramel banana pudding and they were both Devine! There's really no other way to put it, if you have a sweet tooth you'll absolutely enjoy this place! read more
