Calling this 'new orleans' style snocones is a crime...they are slushies at best. We waited over 10…read moreminutes to order, there was no line, the employee just moved at a glacial pace. We couldn't hear her and she was unhelpful. No tap payments, only cash or cashapp. They are charging a $1 fee for cashapp, which is weird because cashapp doesnt charge a fee... After she finally finished our cones, she brought them out and we could already tell it wasn't it. the ice is hard and crunchy, she didn't pack it at all either. the juice was spilling out of the cup and she told us to "drink it down real quick." they charge .75 for toppings, but didn't put enough on there to charge anything for it. they have a passive-aggressive handwritten note on the window about supporting small businesses as they raise their prices, but i also expect the product to be worth it. the customer service sucked and the vibes coming off that truck are gross too. so disappointed and we will just go to bahama bucks next time.

I've visited this Paleteria twice and each time was just as tasty. Today, we ordered a couple of…read morefrozen drinks: a mangonada and a tamarindo frozen drink. Both were tasty and had little pieces of chewy tamarindo candies in them. We also ordered tostilocos, which were tasty as well; they were missing the peanuts that were typically there, but otherwise still good. The lost star is because of their cantaloupe drink I ordered - it tasted nothing like cantaloupe. Only water with pulp. I was disappointed, but everything else was delicious. Additionally, their menu only shows a few of their prices - nothing was updated to reflect their current charges for each item. They do have a small seating area inside which holds maybe 10-15 people. Today, it was adorned with Christmas decor and a tree.

I first heard of Donuts Mama through social media. It's very nostalgic since this was about 5 years ago from my first visit. What I recalled was the warm donuts and offerings on the menu. But with that, also came a warm and friendly attitude from the owner. I can say after that time has passed, I still feel that same way. This is definitely your local spot for a quick bite or to go. Drive thru is available too. I picked the simple options: glazed donuts, donut holes and a sausage cheese kolache. The sausage kolache has the right amount of dough, sausage and cheese ratio. There was a little space to make sure the sausage had room in the dough. The donut holes and glazed donuts are just right as well. Light in texture, a light glaze on top and every bite is soft with a tiny bit of chewiness. I am pretty sure my review will be similar to how I seen it 5 years back. It is a little ways of a drive from area but I gladly stop in when I can if I am looking for local bites. Great as always and a nice visit that brought me some nostalgia when I was a student on a donut run before class.

I had bought it the previous day and it sat in the fridge and was a bit hard, but a 15 sec warm-up made them as fresh as new. The dough was soft and the cream just the right amount. I was in touch with Victoria and was glad she gave me her number since talking was out of question. The colors, flavours, deco on them, everything was discussed over text message which is a little tedious and was juggling replies in between calls, but THAT kept the surprise intact!
