I've been coming here for years, usually sneaking away at lunch with a coworker, and it's one of those spots that just never misses. The setup is half the charm. Plenty of outdoor seating, shaded tables, and even a boat you can sit in, which somehow makes a snow cone feel like a mini getaway instead of a quick stop. The move is simple. Bring your own lunch, grab a table, and then finish strong with a snow cone. The flavor list is massive, and they've even got sugar-free options if you're trying to keep things a little more dialed in. Pro tip: get it with cream. It takes it from good to great. Extra cream if you're doing it right. Service is quick, but don't be surprised if there's a line when it's blazing outside. That just means everyone else has the same idea. Easy 10/10 kind of place. Great vibe, super consistent, and one of the best ways to beat a Houston summer.

My friend went next door and they said he is always running late bringing in groceries or something. Sure enough we waited to still give them a chance. He arrives at 12:19pm with groceries in hand. Saw us and didn't apologize for running late or said "I'll be right with you" nothing of that nature just ignored us. We were there with our 1 and 2 year olds. After he finished bringing in his groceries we waited another 10 mins as he still had his closer sign up and messing with the music. He didn't open the window for us till 12:31pm asking if we had cash because his card reader wasn't working. We said no so he said we needed to wait more till he got the reader working. We waited a few more minutes and said he would try to see if the reader would work he said no so I asked if we could Zelle him or something as I only had $7 cash, he gave an attitude saying he couldn't do that so I said that's fine we would just go somewhere else. Before we left my friend asked what time does he usually open as we were under the impression they opened at 12 he said he was just running late today but my friend said "well next door said you're always running late with groceries or something " and he just rolled his eyes and closed the window on us. NEVER COMING BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Owner needs to learn some customer service basics as that's not how you treat customers SPECIALLY when we waited and never said anything to rush you.

I quickly searched on Google first then Yelp confirmed the high reviews that brought me to Frobergs Market. Absolutely delicious! Natural syrups marinated throughout the ice even to the bottom, but there wasn't a pit of overly sweet syrup conjugating at the bottom. Every bite was tasty without blandness of pure ice. All the flavors are vegan, except for the specialties. There are some flavors that are artificially made such as rainbow. I got the pineapple pipeline and it was so yummy.
