It has a modern, bright, aesthetic vibe with marble-style tables, clean decor, and a great atmosphere to sit and hang out. Visually, it checks all the boxes for a trendy brunch spot. The staff were very kind and went out of their way to be helpful and attentive to all guests. Unfortunately, the food and value simply don't match the ambiance. We ordered two straightforward breakfast plates and iced coffees, and the bill came out to around $40--which feels way too expensive for what actually ends up on your plate. The first dish was a basic breakfast sandwich on an English muffin served with a small side ramekin of kale salad. While the presentation was neat, the sandwich itself was fairly standard and underwhelming for the price tag. The second plate was a traditional breakfast layout featuring scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, jam, and the same small kale side. The eggs were cooked fine and the bacon was crisp, but there was nothing unique or memorable about the flavors to justify charging high-end prices for staple breakfast ingredients. All in all, while the aesthetic and atmosphere are definitely inviting, paying $40 for two plain breakfast plates leaves a sour taste. If you're looking for an impressive food experience to match the high price point, you might end up

The person who…read moreanswered was incredibly helpful and patiently explained that only the name had changed, which I appreciated. For our meal, we ordered two Chicken & Waffles plates, a Blue Corn Lavender Waffle, and a kids' plate. The Chicken & Waffles were the highlight of the meal, offering a satisfying balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Blue Corn Lavender Waffle was a unique touch and a fun way to try something distinctly New Mexican. Neither my wife nor I cared for the drip coffee, so we asked a staff member if we could swap it out for double espressos. They were happy to accommodate us, and the espresso was a significant improvement. The service was friendly, and the staff made a positive first impression from the phone call all the way through our visit. For our family, the total came to about $80, which felt a little steep. We ended up eating inside since the patio tables were either occupied or unavailable (due to a sleeping homeless person). The restaurant is housed in a renovated older home, and they've done a nice job making the most of the space. One of my favorite touches was the collection of retro waffle makers displayed along the walls, which added a fun, nostalgic charm to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd happily return to explore more of the menu.

The blue corn is just a tinge sweet so was an interesting mix. The waffle is a decent size but is super filling and dense. I'll have to try some sweet waffles or some different waffle bases next time! That said there are lots of gluten free options as well, so if that's for you, then don't hesitate to come check it out you won't be disappointed. There is indoor and outdoor seating, though in general the place is small-ish and can get crowded during busy times. Parking is also a bit of an adventure, but so is anywhere in that area. I had the traditional Benny. I read the good review. The first eggs were hard boiled. I could have made deviled eggs. But Leo got them remade and broght out with very little wait. The kale salad was good and I really liked the pickled onion in it. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and were very tasty. But the main dish, the Benny, was so disappointing. The sauce was on the sweet side and it tasted like sweet cream with no other distinguishing flavors. It was also very thin. I prefer a more traditional flavor, a more flavorful flavor if you will. It was just so bland! If this is their standard benny...well, just disappointed. I usually try a place at least a couple of times and different food but I'm not sure I would bother here as the terrible parking lot, loud interior, and frankly inferior Benny makes me wonder about their other offerings. It's close to home and I really wanted to like it but no. Prices are on the high side but if the food is good that is not a deal breaker. Three stars because of bland Benny and bad parking lot.

We moved here to Albuquerque about 3 years ago and were looking for recommendations for a good breakfast spot. A friend told me Weck's was a must-try and we've been eating here regularly ever since. Anytime we have family come to visit, Weck's is always our go to place to take them. I just can't get enough of the amazing sloppy papas bowl with Xmas on the side. The classic Hollywood decor at this location is really cute and my kids love walking around to look at all of the pieces of artwork. The food is always consistently delicious and the service is outstanding. Alex was our server for brunch this week and he was very fast, efficient and friendly.
