At here on my cousin's recommendation. So glad I did. Service was wonderful and friendly, not only to our table but to ever table in earshot. As fully covid compliant as I've seen in a restaurant which is not easy. Those two things would make this a go to place even if the food wasn't wonderful but Weck's hits high marks there as well. Good fresh coffee, great hash browns and eggs. Wonderful NM additions to the menus. Loved it. read more

I mean everyone knows and loves Weck's. One of the most poppin' and best breakfast spots in town where every location is actually AMAZING. Bowl of Papas is a must! I prefer mine sloppy with a side of red chile. One of the few restaurants that actually have delicious homemade pancakes, French toast and cinnamon rolls along with the class New Mexican breakfast choices. They also gave a really amazing eggs Benedict with creamy hollandaise sauce. Just basically anything you order you will love and be in a food coma. So just make sure you do not have any plans after your breakfast/brunch because you will need someone to rest and digest after eating here. read more

Just had a papas bowl with one egg. It was small enough to fit on a spoon. WTH Wecks? Paid $20 and I can say it's the last time we'll be visiting Wecks. Having a personable manager that goes table to table engaging customers and smiling does nothing if you're not delivering on the food. So disappointed read more

After going here for breakfast today, just couldn't wait to give a raising. The service is always the best and the food, well to put it straight, it is unsurpassed. The manager (didn't get his name) has never been short on coming by and making sure all is good and that we are pleased. You can tell from the way the staff acts that they are happy and that makes the atmosphere just that much better. We will be making the a once a week stop for sure. read more

Was the busiest Saturday to come here. Service was fast and friendly. Baloon fiesta kickoff 2019. Lots if selections to choose from. Waffles and bacon after a long wait was what I was looking too. read more

Very good breakfast options and the price for amount of food is great. I always have to get a to go box. The green chile is delicious, flavorful and spicy the perfect combination. The daily gourmet coffee is good. Plus the to go cups are awesome, can reuse and keep forever! (I've had one for about 5 years now) the majority of servers are friendly and ensure your satisfied through out your visit, and the manager is constantly checking on all the guest and assisting with busing tables. You don't see that often. I recommend this place for sure. read more

It was wiped clean of germs before we sat at the table. And I was so hungry I could've ordered anything but I needed a burrito so I ordered one. It was the best burrito I ever had in my whole life. I love Wecks! I will return frequently. read more

The service was great. The portions were big and the breakfast was so good. We ordered carnitas and extra green chili and she brought EXTRA. Ib ordered huevos rancheros which were spot on. Lots of refills and attentiveness was great. Always a great place to eat (Especially if your hungry) and would recommend it to anyone as a place to eat at when your in ABQ. read more

Love the manager here but I never have good service. Great food and coffee but always wish the service was better. I recommend the hot coco!

The staff was very friendly and outgoing. This is my second time here and loved all the memorabilia they have on their walls. Our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything at all times. read more

I stopped by this place twice for breakfast with my buddy on his recommendation. One breakfast i ordered the country fried steak breakfast edition. It was legit with plenty for a serving. The staff kept our water and coffee full. The other time I ordered a green chili egg concoction. Delicious for a midwesterner with a enough spice. I would suggest substituting for the beans like my buddy did. Overall, both times were very filling breakfasts that were quite delicious. My only qualm was a soft talking waiter that was hard to hear. Is that enough to knock em down to 4 stars? Heck no, not for this breakfast! read more

Delicious and their "value menu" is definitely worth it (see pic I posted). My nephew and I both ordered the 3 egg omelette. I ordered mine Christmas style...if you're not from NM, that means smothered/drenched in red AND green chile. I also ordered my hash browns extra crispy. Our orders came out quickly and perfect! The red chile had a great flavor and wasn't spicy...but the green, that had a kick and I loved it! Will definitely be back! read more

Always great food and good service I loved the eggs Benedict. The burritos and the French toast too.

Red Chile tastes like tomato sauce. , marinara maybe , ruined my meal . Yuckkkkk , something you'd expect out in Jersey . Horrible , disgusting , we are in New Mexico for Gods sake . read more

I love this place. Like, do the happy dance every time I think about it. The food is to die for... Everything is enormous, so make sure you're hungry when you go. My Okie husband gets the biscuits and gravy when he goes, my folks get the huevos, kids get the pancakes with chocolate chips and whipped cream and I get the omelette with ham and cheese or the crunchy quesadilla with enough veggies to choke a horse. Everyone is happy and a nap is usually in order by the time we leave... Lots of tasty carbs will do that to you! We particularly love that they will give you plastic cups to go for your drinks... And they have the pebble ice that my husband loves. The chile is hot and there's plenty of it. The service is always top-notch. They train the staff to stay on top of their tables, keep the drinks topped off, and make sure the kids are taken care of. I've never had a bad experience in the dozens of times I've eaten there... Never. The atmosphere is all business... Wecks has a huge following, and you don't keep that many people happy by dawdling around with your service. They get people in, get them fed, and get them on with their day. I'd love it if they were a little cozier, maybe with some booths, but then I know it would take forever to get in... You can't have everything, right? I think I'd be much crankier (and much thinner) if Wecks wasn't in Albuquerque... It's a way of life for us. read more

I love Weck's! I should own a piece of clothing saying that simply because of the number of times I eat there. Whenever I think of a breakfast place I think of Weck's and their pancakes or papas. If you are celebrating a birthday, get the birthday pancakes! I was worried about them being too sweet and feeling sick afterwards, but the cream cheese frosting balances out the flavor of the pancakes. I wish I could get them every month! Weck's servings are large, but the food keeps for a day to make a second breakfast. Christmas is the best, but each person has their preference. The staff is always friendly and seems genuinely curious about how you are doing. There seems to be the same faces working there which I like to see. They take care of their employees. read more

Maybe I'm biased with my loves of breakfast food and green chile, but Weks is my absolute favorite eatery- after moving out of state, it is my first priority with every return home. I love the decor, the staff is incredibly friendly, and I feel they're very customer-focused. Pro tip- share the meals. The portions are huuuge and easily shareable, no matter who you are. Overall, would particularly recommend the abney omelet or the original bowl of papas- whatever you get, make sure the papas are on the plate somewhere! Pair it with a coffee or strawberry lemonade and you'll see why it's a regular stop! read more

I always enjoy coming here. The service is absolutely amazing every time. The food is always pretty good too. The portions are extremely generous and served hot. I feel like the food is a little "white" though. The chile is ok, but needs some good New Mexican lovin. The beans taste like they come out of a can, but I always seems to finish my plate. The green Chile stew has carrots in it...weird, but still tasty. I never leave with less than a happy, full belly. read more

I love Wecks! I had never been to this location before and ended up here for lunch. It was so good! I had never had the croissant breakfast sandwich, so I gave it a try... That thing was huge! It came with hash browns and toast. I got a side of red chile for everything, and it was awesome! Service was great! Restaurant was nice and clean. I will absolutely come here again! read more

Really good food, really good service. Our waiter was named Chris, top-notch waiter, very attentive.

My family and I are regulars here. Our favorite waitress is Eva. Ask for her and you won't be disappointed. We have had a wide variety from the breakfast menu and my daughter and wife have had more than a few dishes from the lunch side. No complaints yet so Weck's is doing something right. Kid friendly and if you are from out of town this is definitely one to try. One last thing is you won't leave hungry portions are large and my favorite it's always hot! read more

Was a mistake in our order and the manger very kindly and quickly took care of everything

So my daughter and I agreed to meet for "brunch" and ended up at Weck's. Holy crap there is always a wait at the location off of Paseo! The staff was super sweet and assured us our wait would be no longer than 10 minutes. Idk how long we waited but not longer than 10 minutes. We were seated and everything looked so good on the menu... we both decided on breakfast items. The menu is pretty extensive. They offer New Mexico traditional dishes which include: heuvos rancheros, breakfast enchiladas, and breakfast burritos. This is a very family oriented establishment and offers something for everyone. They have salads and lighter fare as well as burgers, sandwiches. Quesadillas, gluten free, and to go items! It is truly a Big Bang for the buck! read more

Ordered breakfast for takeout. Asked at pickup if it had been verified and was told yes that they check the orders. Get home and realize an entire entree is missing. Call to let them know we are missing food and her response was "what did YOU forget?!" When I said I didn't forget anything because I didn't pack the food, she interrupted me three times to say "what do you need". When I returned to pick up the missing food there was another person on the phone going over the items missing from their order as well. I understand mistakes happen but the woman's rude attitude and nasty tone as she asked what I forgot was uncalled for. read more

Love this place. My g/f and I went there after balloon Fiesta one day. Lots of people there to eat but it wasn't much of a wait. She had the big pig I think it's called and I had pancakes and sausage, both were excellent. Was kinda of disappointed being out of the balloon Fiesta cups but we still understood it was probably a busy week. Also, when there's a wait you guys should probably pull the sign from the road that said the was no wait. read more

This place is amazing. The food is great. The manager James (Jamie) is one of the friendliest and inviting managers I've ever seen in the restaurant industry. The wait staff is awesome as well. Most definitely recommend. 5 Stars! read more

Who knew! Saturday breakfast was really really good! Being somewhat new to the neighborhood I am so glad our realtor suggested we try Weck's. Hubby had the Huevos Rancheros and he really liked them a lot. I ordered the Zia Pancakes loaded with (real) bacon and green chili, and served with warm maple syrup. Did I say they were loaded with bacon and green chili!!! Absolutely delicious, but I could barely finish one. Next time I will only order one. I took home the leftovers and the next morning with a short time in the microwave, some butter, and the green chili had time to kick in. Again, delicious! We had great service and completely satisfied! read more

We like Weck's for its good food, friendly service and fair prices. You can eat healthy with a vegetable omelet, or load up on Sloppy Pappa, one oh favorites. On each of our visits a manager stops by after the food is delivered to check on our satisfaction. read more

I used to go to Weck's about twice a month before COVID. Haven't been since March until today and I'm so glad I did! Service was outstanding and the handheld breakfast burrito was so good! I'll definitely continue to support with curbside to go. I'm not sure if the handheld burrito is a permanent part of the menu, but if it's not you should add it! Sometimes I want a burrito on the way to work but I'm not always up for the huge full belly burrito plate. read more

It's Wecks, what can I say? It's a New Mexico staple. Awesome service ALL the time! These folks are super friendly and attentive. Try to sit in Alex or Nancy's section as they were an awesome team. Although, I'm pretty sure the entire staff is exceptional. And the food is phenomenal! Best breakfast ever!! Wecks is one of those places that you can go to every day and never eat the same thing twice. But that's not me. No. No. No. I've tried numerous items over the many many many many many times I've been here but I always gravitate to my all time favorite, Huevos Rancheros! Of course. With Green Chile! Of course. Eggs over medium. Of course! And bring me a to-go box with my meal because this plate of food is easily 2 meals. Easily. read more

I simply can't fathom the reviews on this place. We came here for food bc it was close to the fire change place. I ordered hash browns and some fruit. My iced tea came in styrofoam. My hash browns had zero crisp but enough butter to contribute to a heart attack so much so that it didn't even taste good it was moosh hash browns topped in butter. My husbands food was similar he couldn't finish. I had two bites only. I ate my lunch room soggy fruit and we left perplexed on how this place is in business. read more

Weck's is an amazing local breakfast spot and a must every time we have out of town visitors! The food is always fresh, hot and delicious. The portions are huge and plates are always devoured. Smaller and much louder compared to their other locations. Waitress wasn't the friendliest, she did her job and that was about it. Took order, dropped food off and had a fake smile while doing it all. Wish I would have gotten her name, but she never did tell us. I feel as though some of the portions have gotten smaller and the food wasn't very hot. It was busy, but not that busy to have luke warm food and poor service. read more
