We signed up online for Webpass service the day before moving into our new aparment in North Bay Village. Online sign-up process was extremely painless and quick. The website allows you to choose the installation date and time, and we were able to pick the next day. The installation technician, Sanders, was very professional and helpful. He was available and in the neighborhood at an even earlier hour, so he called to ask if he can stop by earlier. The installation took about 10 minutes. He installed an ethernet jack where our landline phone jack used to be, and you plug-in the router straight into the wall. No more dealing with modem rental/setup. Sanders explained everything we needed to know, and tested the quality of the service right away. As we were in the middle of moving in, he even helped us with few boxes before moving on to his next appointment! Needless to say, this was possibly the best utility-related customer service I had in my life. The service itself is excellent. We are in an "old" building (1972), and the cables in the walls are not great. Nevertheless, we are getting ~95 Mbps download and ~60 Mbps upload consistently, which is more than an order of magnitude (factor of 10) faster than our previous services with AT&T, Comcast, or Atlantic Broadband (and all three were more expensive too). One stormy day, we lost service. 10 minutes later, I called Webpass support (very short wait, maybe 2 minutes), and I'm happy to say that they were on top of it. FPL had some hardware failure due to strong wind near where Webpass' equipment was located, and they had a team on site already. The service was restored shortly. In summary, excellent internet service, cheaper and faster than any other provider I know of, and Sanders is amazing. I've been recommending Webpass to my friends since. read more

Outstanding service and speed !! Don't think and just get it if it's available in your neighborhood. When I moved to Miami from New York, I found out that only AT&T provided internet service to my apartment building so I had no choice but to get AT&T. And of course, AT&T exploited that completely. I got stuck with AT&T's awful service and speed for 2 years. And then, one day, Webpass also started their service in my building. Without a second thought, I gave it a try since I was so tired of AT&T. I set up an appointment and the same day, a Tech from Webpass showed up and within an hour or so, I was all set for my new internet connection. So in terms of a time lag between setting up and appointment and getting an internet connection, I am giving 5 stars. The attitude of the tech was super nice. Then, comes the internet speed. With AT&T, I was getting 3 mbps for download for 50 dollars a month (600 dollars plus tax per year). And now, with Webpass, I get up to 100 mbps for 45 dollars a month (550 dollars plus tax per year). So 5 stars for internet speed and cost. In terms of service, it has been 6 months with Webpass. And, I have never had any connection loss, not even once. While with AT&T, the modem they provided stopped working within 3 months that they had to replace and of course, they took 7 days to replace it. So I was without any internet connection. Within 6 months of usage of that "new modem" by AT&T, again it stopped working and they had to sent a replacement but this time they sent a tech just to check. I was told that the tech was just going to check, and AT&T wouldn't charge anything. However, they billed me 60 dollars for that. Therefore, for outstanding service and connection, I am giving 5 stars to Webpass. Thank a lot Webpass for your amazing service and please keep it up !! read more

The review in just one word: Outstanding!! Long version: The hardest part was to have the condominium association agree to Webpass. Once the agreement was in place, the process was very slick. The building was setup in less than a month for us residents to sign up. The signup was very easy. I could chose the appointment already for next day but I preferred a few days later due to my schedule. The setup technician, Julio, called ahead of time to confirm the appointment and arrived on time. Julio installed the new Webpass service without any problems. I was a bit concerned beforehand that we would have enough time to test the setup before the technician would leave. However, we had enough time and everything worked perfectly. For example, I called abroad using my internet phone and got a great call quality, tested my internet TV, and my two computers. In addition, and this is the outstanding part, Julio also took time to explain what he did and why, and what possibly could be improved for the network in the apartment. This extra help is remarkably rare nowadays, more so in large cities like Miami than elsewhere, when considering that time is money and this was all for free! We do not have exactly the promised speed of 100Mbit/s download AND upload but it is very close, at around 95. Time will tell how fast and reliable the service will be. The first month to try was for free and we can cancel at anytime for free, so there is no need to worry. Up until now we have used Comcast for $55/month with about 28-29 Mbit/s download and 5-6 Mbit/s upload. I only have one more thing to do: call Comcast to cancel their more expensive and much slower internet service. The experience so far is exceptionally good. My building (Midtown Lofts Coral Way) recently began offering WebPass as a internet provider. Having been paying ridiculous amounts for a Comcast Triple Play (I don't even have a phone hard-line, but it came out cheaper than the double play), I decided to exhaust my other option (WebPass). After discussing with the Webpass team here in Miami I realized the rate was minimal for insanely fast WiFi(2x-3x faster than Comcast "blast"). I cancelled my Comcast WiFi services on Tuesday afternoon, called webpass, and was setup with my new WiFi by Wednesday midday. I didn't miss a beat with a loss of connection. I set up my appointment for 4pm, and was called at 11am by the technician that he could be there anytime I'd like if it was sooner than the 4pm or later (Service, check). The technician that arrived at my door was named Julio Livingston. This guy is the man. He was incredibly helpful and efficient. He was able to fulfill exactly what I wanted (WiFi in the entire apartment with Ethernet connection for my iMac and my Xbox one). Both those devices are in different rooms, I didn't think it could happen but Julio was able to configure it in rapid time. I'm talking less than 30 min he was in & out and set everything up perfectly. Comcast was 4 HOURS LATE when I initially setup my service! and not to mention it took about 1 & 1/2 hr for them to setup my WiFi (Mess). All in all, I'm getting INSANE WiFi speed 100+mgps without a sweat and to be honest, I'm floored by the service. All my devices are wicked fast and my apple tv/Xbox movie streaming is nuts. And for iTunes downloads on my iMac? Movies in minutes. WebPass is epic. Thank you JULIO for your outstanding work and assistance. read more

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. In the end I couldn't of been happier. I live in a condo building near the river in Miami. I was limited to AT&T DSL service. As anyone who has ever used the service knows, it is extremely slow. We're talking about 1 or 2 MB a second if you're lucky. Mind you, I'm paying for 6 MB and most definitely not getting it. For the same price, web pass, a small but very good company based out of California, set up an ethernet connection into my unit. We're talking about at times near 300 MB a second. And, because they use a microwave antenna on the roof, we're talking reliable service. It's amazing. Oh, they also use fiber optics as the backup in case the microwave antenna fails, which would realistically never happen. I'm paying the same amount as I was paying before, about 50 bucks a month, with tax and everything included. I cannot say how happy I am to go from 1 to almost 300 MB a sec. Even the installer, Julio, was awesome. A good guy, he was quick, extremely knowledgeable as he has vast experience in the telecommunications field, had everything wrapped up in less than 20 minutes. Did I mention they were punctual, on a Sunday?! These people know what they're doing. I never endorse anything, I never recommend anything, I go out of my way not to say anything to avoid disappointing anyone. However, in this case, WebPass is more than deserving of the good review. Webpass is hands down the best internet provider I've ever had. Not only is the download speed fast, but the upload speed is close to the same speed. This is unheard of from any other provider. Most of them offer upload speeds at around 10% of download speed. Love the built in concept with no modem to deal with. I recently started having reliability issues and called customer service. They quickly identified my issue (which was due to 40+ year old wiring in my building). They sent a technician (Sanders) out to see what could be done. I couldn't be more impressed with Sanders. He was scheduled to arrive at 1:00 and called at 12:55 to say he was almost there. There was no window for me to wait. He made an appointment and showed up exactly as promised. Upon arrival, he knew exactly where to look, what to do, and explained it all to me very well. I can't begin to talk about the problems I've had in the past with other companies and their technicians. In very little time, Sanders was able to take an old horrible setup and make it work like new. In addition, I really appreciate him explaining each step in the process and solution. Ultimately, he was able to take my old building's setup and make it work better than anywhere else I've ever lived. Thank you Sanders and Webpass! You are excellent! read more

Once this secret gets out, it will again change the way we see the world. I didn't even know the internet could be so fast. We are the first in our building to get Webpass, so now we have speed over 100 while everyone else is struggling to get to 20 or maybe 40 if they are close enough to the source. Webpass blows any internet service we have ever had out of the water. The technician Julio was prompt, knowledgeable, and helpful. (opposite of other internet install experiences I've had with ATT and DirectPlus) It almost seems too good to be true, but we actually have true high speed internet in Miami! And not only is the service wildly fast, the company doesn't lock you into contracts or limits speed to packages. Their philosophy is no limits...get the fastest speed possible. That's the service you pay for, and it's reasonable. And to top it all off, the company's customer service is personal and great. I hope they can maintain that as they grow, because I have a feeling this will explode once people know it's here. I'm so psyched! I'm gonna go watch Netflix with no buffering wait! :) read more

Vivo en Brickell Key. Hace unas semanas mi condiminio me avisó de que, Webpass, un nuevo proveedor de internet, iba a comenzar a prestar servicio. Y no lo dudé ni un momento, harto de los altos precios, arrogante servicio al cliente y servicio de internet inconsistente de Comcast. Les llamé, hice una cita y el técnico (Julio) llegó a la hora acordada, revisó la instalación, instaló el servicio en un momento, contestó a todas mis preguntas y me hizo recomendaciones sobre todo lo relacionado al servicio de internet (routers, cómo obtener lo mejor del servicio, etc.). Hasta la fecha, estoy muy satisfecho con mi nuevo internet. El servicio es muy consistente, la velocidad en mi caso es superior a los 200 Mbps down y up (si, esa es la velocidad, no he puesto un cero de más) y el precio es más barato que Comcast. Y lo mejor, no necesitas un modem por el que, como en el caso de Comcast, tienes que pagar $8 mensuales adicionales por el alquiler. I've had Webpass since December, and the customer service continues to be incredible. I had an issue where my router would continually drop connection, and Nathan from customer support worked with me to narrow the problem down, and monitored my line to find the issue. He found the problem on a Saturday, and apologized profusely when the earliest a tech could get out here was Monday morning. Comcast would have had me wait a week or more (and probably charged to fix it). Julio arrived Monday, and found the problem within a few minutes (it was wiring in the wall, in this case). He was extremely polite and friendly, and made sure I had the best set up possible. In addition, I had changed TV providers and he was able to connect more lines to my internet connection, so my speeds tripled (300down/300up). All for no extra charge. After making the online appointment, I realized I had technical questions. I called and left a message. Got an immediate call-back. They thoroughly answered all my networking queries--and then some--*WITHOUT* wasting a single second of my time! Genius!!! The day of service, our technician, Daniel came to our place. He was respectful, diligent and great to work with. He made sure all the wires were hidden and was able to explain complicated technical aspects of our network to *very* un-techie-me. Daniel even took the time to identify ways to improve our existing network and recommended hardware that would best optimize our connection for our family's needs. On February 27 at 9 am my life changed because two Webpass guys came to install my almost 200 mps internet! Kudos to Julio Livingston and Mitchell Schneider from the Miami office who discovered why Comcast had been unable to give me TV and Internet when I moved into this apartment in Coral Gables 10 months ago. The cable box covered up a cable which had been cut. Julio and Mitch actually removed the cable box from the closet wall where it had been installed five years ago when the building was constructed. They found the cut cable and were able to fix it and install Webpass in the living room and connect the office/bedroom via a wi-fi router. Since then I don't have to wait for the internet to come on (as I did with the AT&T mobile hot spot), and the service is much cheaper. I love Webpass and love Julio and Mitch who made it work. I just moved to the Gallery Art in midtown and one of the choices for ISP was Webpass. I had never heard about it but after looking at their website and checking their speeds, I decided to give it a try. The installer, Sanders, showed up even ahead of our appointment. He was very nice, professional and knowledgeable of the system. It only took him 5 minutes to get me up and running. Then I took my laptop to check out the connection and speed. Oh God, I almost had a heart attack when I looked at the speed test. I was getting about 200mbps down and almost 60mbps up. That is insane. I hope that their customer service is as good as their connections and that their service is solid (too early to tell). For now, I'm a very happy camper. Now I have to upgrade my router to take advantage of this amazing speed. Las night I was streaming Netflix while downloading and surfing the web. Very happy customer. read more

My building is the first Webpass residential building in Miami to offer their services. The Webpass internet speed is by far the fastest internet available around. Theses guys are very professional and very impressive with there install, especially Julio Livingston. I made an appointment the day before and they were there the next morning at 9am. Within an hour I went from 10 megs up and down to 200 megs up and down internet speed. Julio even followed up with a phone call the next day to make sure I was completely satisfied. In additional to the great customer services, the price for the internet speed is cheaper than what I'm paying for Xfinity service. I'm happy to say I've cancelled Xfinity/Comcast internet and saving money with an amazing high speed. Thank you Webpass! read more

Have had Comcast Internet Svc at 25mbps. At the recommendation of a couple of friends in our building we had Webpass 100Mbps installed this morning. Set up the installation appointment online on their website. No long waiting on hold to schedule an appointment just to be given a 4 hr window of when the installer may arrive. Julio showed up at 9 am just as promised. He was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable. Explained and was very kind to explain the details to a non-technical person. He knew exactly what needed to be done. Placed the Ethernet connection at the best location, set up my wireless router.... 20 minutes later I was up and running at a much faster speed than Comcast. Sanders came to install to find out that the wiring closet was covered up with a custom closet configuration. I just moved in, so didn't realize this. He went above and beyond and got the property maintenance man to show him another condo with the same floorplan so I would know exactly where an access door would need to be installed in order to access the wiring. My ticket was put on hold until this was done. After done, I contacted Sanders and he directed me to the call center to set up the new installation appt. This was done and he was back the next day to do the installation. Great demeanor, very knowledgable and definitely an asset to Web Pass. I hope I get him personally next time around as well. I firstly received a recommendation from my bulding in brickell keys to use their internet service and i did so. When I called to make an appointment i was suprised about how fast they were scheduling the date and time. An hour before the appointment a very friendly guy called me to confirm it which showed a lots of professionalism. I was so surprised when Sanders arrived on time for our Webpass appointment. Usually a technician will arrive somewhat late or not show up as they get detained. As I opened the door, Sanders greeted me with a big smile. He came in confidently and made me feel at ease that I had the best man for the job. He was friendly and got to work right away. Webpass is simply amazing! I was with comcast getting a pretty good deal (or so I thought) which was 60mbps for about $35 a month. This of course was a promotion but it was going to go up to $60 a month which is what made me look into Webpass. I have never been happier. Comcast was good but it simply wasn't reliable, always had issues, and the tech customer service was terrible. Webpass is so much more simple, installation took about 20 minutes. My internet speed managed to get up to 260mbps! Not like comcast where they tell you 60mbps and you're lucky if you get 45 (direct connection). Webpass tells you 100mbps guaranteed, they really over deliver! So satisfied with them! Def must get! read more

I've been with webpass and so far I've had nothing but good experiences. Installation and billing so far have been seamless. Today, I wanted to add another internet port to another room of my apartment. The technician who came to help, Carlos, was very professional and was able to quickly identify the best method in my apartment for adding the additional line. I'm also pleasantly surprised that I was not billed for the visit! A sharp contrast to making any simple request to Comcast, which can require hours of holding the line, dropped calls, and things generally not getting done. Now I have my super-fast internet in the two rooms without any hassle. Keep up the good work! read more
