I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience with Xfinity/Comcast has been beyond unacceptable. Out of nowhere, some random technician showed up at our property without any notice or appointment to do "some work." Not only did they leave a complete mess behind, but they also left a bunch of cables lying around -- a serious tripping and electrical hazard. To make it even worse, they left our patio gate wide open, and my dog escaped because of their negligence. Totally irresponsible and unprofessional. After this chaos, our internet -- which had been working perfectly fine -- suddenly stopped working. So not only did we not ask for any service, but their unannounced "work" actually created a new problem we didn't have to begin with. Naturally, we called the company expecting them to fix their own mistake. What a nightmare that turned out to be. Hours on the phone -- getting transferred from one department to another, over and over -- with nothing but meaningless apologies and zero actual help. After nearly five hours of being bounced around, they finally scheduled another technician to come and finish the half-done job... only for us to get a call later saying it needed to be rescheduled because the technician was late. Seriously? They cause the problem, leave a hazard, lose our connection, waste an entire day of our time, and then delay the "fix" again? What a disgrace of a company. If this is what they call customer service, it's beyond broken. Absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful to their customers. If I could give them zero stars, I would. The worst company for home internet and especially mobile. They are selling you services in a cheap price and you receive a different bill as the agents only try to make the sale so they can make a commission. No cotrol whatsoever and not responsive. Not even their supervisors who have continuously made mistakes and promises that have not been applied. We had a plan from a long time ago but was paying 250. monthly. Friday, we called to see if they could lower the charge die to financial difficulties. The agent gave us an offer in which it was better internet service but we were able to keep our stations. We questioned her to verify. We asked again to confirm and named the cable stations in question - YES, YES, YES. We agreed. Last night, we lost all premium station (the same ones we named and were told we would keep). Within 50minutes on a call with a manager and on hold, we were told they were unable to reinstate our previous plan, but they were going to see what they could do with allowing us access to one of the premium stations. Supervisor said he would call back within 30minutes, it's been 6 hours. Movies and shows that were "recorded" have been deleted (because we no longer have the stations in our NEW package). I told the agent we spoke to on Saturday that I felt deceived that we were told something to only agree to the change and get something completely different. I said the same and more to the supervisor. I also accused. Comcast/Xfinity of lying to customers to have them end paying more for what they originally had. Dirty business practices that I hear more and more companies and employers are doing to same them money and pigeonhole customers who want to continue services/internet. The agent from Friday was polite (though she lied). I do not want anyone to loose their job. We all need to provide and feed our families but they need to train their agents to be truthful when offering changes to the account. Is this something that Comcast/Xfinity encourage their agents to do? I see why customers cut cable for streaming services/Roku. And let's not start on how long it took me yesterday to talk to a person and not automated (time consuming runaround - "I'm sorry, I did not get that). Had to mute the phone between each question because the automated kept saying they were unable to get that. Then having to use the link (which "expires" and gives you the runaround) to then have to call back to request an agent..... I miss direct contact with an actual person. I had the best TECHNICIAN ever come out to my apartment to fix my internet, I called on a Friday and someone came the next day. (COMCAST XFINITY 2024) EBEL G. QUESADA should be recognized for his good ethics and working habits, he made sure all my computers and TV's were working before he left and even showed me baby steps in getting help all by myself...really friendly had mad patience with me and my older dad. Clean environment, friendly staff, environmental comfortable, plenty of space and seating well spaced apart. Must pay far parking and pack a lunch, bring a drink depends on the day, you might be here a while. Wait time for me to return equipment approx 45 minutes. Given option to leave equipment and they will return later and email receipt, but I opted for paper receipt now. Store was a little to busy for that process to be reliable for me. Honestly, haven't 1 good thing to say about Comcast. They are about greed and taking advantage of you in everyway possible. They either don't show up to home visits, or show up too late. No confirmation is ever sent to your phone as promised by phone tech so no way to prove the home visit appointment. Constant outages and TV issues. Home visits are told to be free but then they lie and charge you. It took us 5 months to get charged removed. Caliber of people they send to your house act like they were just released from prison. They are anything but customer friendly. They bring faulty equipment. We went through 5 that's FIVE dvd boxes until only 1 finally worked. Can't understand the Indian, phillipine or wherever the phone techs are from given their weird English or accents. We honestly can't understand anyone. I imagine many have no education and have no idea what they are doing except to follow some script they read on their screen. The automated system when you call in will get you nowhere except to want to step out on your roof and jump out of sheer frustration. Each call is at least an hour. Tonight we called SEVEN times. If there is such a thing as Karma, my wish is that all the misery they have caused their customers should all come back to each and everyone of them ,INCLUDING their ceo and may they experience all that we experience 10 fold! I called Xfinity as of July 2nd to renew my promotional value for JUST WIFI. I spoke to a representative by the name of Janet and she stated that I would be getting the same wifi speed for a promotional value of $77. I was content and advised that I would like this promotion. She later responded that she needed a payment of $120 to secure the promotion. I told her to use the card stored on the account and she advised that she cannot see it and needs me to provide it. I clearly advised that I did not feel comfortable giving her my payment form over the phone and she ASSURED me that there would be no issues, as this is Xfinity and they do not do scams or fraud. So I provided the credit card information, I receive a text from number 3214458841 confirming to make a payment to xfinity for $120. I typed in yes and she provided me a confirmation number. I have already confirmed that it was taken out of my bank account and posted as of July 3rd. I look in my emails and received an email from Xfinity for the INCORRECT WIFI SPEED. I called Xfinity again and they updated the wifi and proceeded to send me the equipment. My next bill should have reflected $75.23, however when I check my bill, it shows that I owe $187! To my astonishment I called them again, only for them to tell me that my bank rejected the payment and to call my bank. So i called my bank and they confirmed it was cleared since July 3rd and nothing has been rejected. I called xfinity again and they opened a claim. I uploaded my bank statement, text messages between the representative and I, as well as the confirmation number. They closed the ticket and stated that they would refund the $120 to the account that payed. I checked the payment and the account that they will be refunding was that of a CHECKING ACCOUNT that I did NOT own! I advised that I payed with a CREDIT CARD and uploaded my bank statement reflecting the payment and correct account number. They stated that they have NO recollection of MY credit card payment, only that of the CHECKING ACCOUNT THAT I DO NOT OWN. They stated that although they had my bank statement showing that the payment was taken out of MY CREDIT CARD, they had no statement from them showing that they ever took money from my card. Notified me to call my bank to dispute the charge and that they cannot do anything for me. So basically, I call Xfinity to update my service and they scammed me out of $120 and they have no recollection nor need to help me. I advised that one of THEIR employees are at fault and to go back to the RECORDED voice call that I made on July 2nd and they said THEY HAD NO RECOLLECTION OF THE CALL EITHER, it showed that I never called... I pleaded with them to open an investigation to find this employee and they said they do not have the capability to do so! WHAT?! SO YOUR EMPLOYEE CAN COMMIT FRAUD AND YOU GUYS HELP HER DO IT?! Comcast cut my underground electric line while installing their main 2 inch conduit and cable feed for the whole trailer park. The broke my underground sewer pipe and it is leaking sewage in my yard. 3 calls to Comcast and still no repair. My backyard is now rocks and dead sod. Comcast has turned into a scam. After spending several hours with multiple agents, now I don't have any channels that I am paying for. Was told my package expired and price went up without notice. Was told my Acp had to be renewed every 4 months, A COMPLETE LIE! Someone committed fraud somehow and stole my Acp credit. I was told yesterday that my new package would be $140.00 a month and with my new Acp id, it would be $110.00. Today I woke up and the only 4 channels I watch have been taken away. I'm done. The stress that most agents cause is not worth it at all. I'm 56 and behind on technology but am learning about Hulu and anything else I can get in order to be done with Comcast forever. It is way too difficult to reach Comcast/Xfinity customer support. I called to have Comcast pull up the physical line which is [still] hanging 5 feet off the ground from a previous Comcast repair. Comcast scheduled a visit for the following week. On the day of the visit, the Comcast employee arrived at noon, knocked lightly on the door (ignoring the doorbell) and then walked quickly away. The Comcast employee had parked his vehicle in front of the neighbor's house out of the view from my front door. I RAN outside, calling to him with my arms waving. The Comcast employee made a U-turn and drove away whilst looking straight at me. Why drive to a customer's house and not finish the work? Comcast must have an incentive for their employees to avoid customers. This is the first call I've made since signing up in 2015. At $94 a month, it's a lot of money for almost zero service. I'll have to consider switching to my previous provider just to get someone here to fix this line issue. read more

This is the most mismanaged customer service organization I have ever experienced. The website will not be useful if you want to change service down - cannot get a phone number without searching on the internet and they force you into "chats" that are menu driven and don't recognize downgrades in the menu choices. Spent all afternoon - 3+ hours trying to get a new modem registered and cancel VOIP service. Response time between chats is 2-3 minutes and they keep trying to upsell. Totally useless. read more

I wanted to have my 2 bedrooms wired for cable. I was transferred to a customer service rep in India who said a tech would be out the next day, nobody showed. I called and the local rep said the first rep never scheduled an appointment. She said she would call back in an hour, but of course she never did. A few years ago they wasted my time with lies and broken promises for two weeks before a tech ever showed up. I give up, I'm looking for another provider. Every tech they send claims that the next tech will solve the problem. They never do. You can't even call in and speak to person. I was a client with Xfinity for 10 years. I recieved a bogus tech charge of $70. Their resolution was to credit me $35. Why would I recieve a $35 credit when what they are stealing from me is $70. If I could give this company 0 stars or minus -5 I would, after less than one month with them I had to cancel my service because my internet connection was on and off. The whole time the modem was offline they were not able to get it back on, all they said was to unplug the modem and plug it back on, and after several calls and online chats their only solution was for me to pay $100 for a technician so they could come and check what was the problem. But after paying $50 deposit fee I was not having it, specially since the last tenants who lived here already paid for a technician who did the installation not so long ago and they had the same company and had no trouble ( even though they were YouTubers). In conclusion after stealing $50 ( deposit fee) they wanted me to pay $100 for technician and then upgrade to a $60 service just so I could have internet, in total you have to pay $210 if you want to have internet with Xfinity ( Comcast). I have to be grateful for the nasty way I was treated by Xfinity so I can be extremely satisfied with the awesome welcoming I received from AT&T. I live in a small apartment attached to the back of a big main house in Design District in Miami, Fl. The place only included water and electricity when I signed the lease. When calling Xfinity to connect my internet service they charged me $50 and took an hour to "process my order" then they called me back to say that the order can't be completed until changes were made in the address because only my landlord appear to live in that address. They said to wait a moment and they transferred the calls to different departments that got the calls disconnected at the end. I tried calling back and a rude lady just said that the service couldn't be connected PERIOD and hang up. I was going to go directly to the office the next day until I realized that Comcast isn't the only company and I need my internet service not someone to fighting with. I called AT&T and they open a new account and made sure I got the authorization from my landlord to procede. They label my address as duplex apartment B and BAM! The technician came the next day, on time! Installation was perfect and No money down until my first bill. If want you want to fight you can become a boxer or a ninja. If you want internet just like me, pay a little extra and get outstanding customer service and great connectivity at AT&T. read more
