DISH had a deal so I decided to switch, and had everything set up to go. As a last step, I had to call DIRECTV to cancel the service, and after everything was ready to go, the sales rep informed me I could save a lot of $$$ by going to a new package. So...dilemma... I decided to stick with the new DirecTV package. While I am happy that I was offered a great new deal (paying almost half of what I was paying!), I was disappointed that after a number of faithful years (paying high prices!) they didn't offer up 'deals' once in a while. I know they are in business to make money, but let's go folks...offer up the deals. If only CELL PHONE companies did this !! (yeah RIGHT....)

Rapido! Extreme--expecting high-quality service. However, my internet speeds have never even come close to the promised 100 Mbps, so I'm clearly not receiving the service I'm paying for. On top of that, I was hit with a $25 late fee just one day after my payment was due, which feels unnecessary and excessive. These kinds of practices are more commonly seen with companies serving customers with bad credit, which is not my situation. Broadband MDU seems more focused on charging extra fees rather than fixing their subpar service. They shouldn't be advertising the Rapido! Rapido! plan if they can't deliver the speeds they promise. I hope they address these issues soon, but until then, I can't recommend their service.

Multiple times my service has gone down only to have to schedule a service appointment and take a half day off of work to get the system reset. Several weeks later it's the same rerun. For some reason I went back with a stereo receiver and a VCR recorder about two years later and soon remembered why I didn't like this company. After long delays, broken promises of calls to report the status, and a failure rate of 100% on these three devices I asked for a full refund. Its the only thing they did right. For the life of me, I don't know how these clowns make a living or pay their rent. Every time I went into the store the phone was rining off the wall with angry customers and "Ray" the owner spent more time making apologies and excuses than fixing anything. The half empty whisky bottle in the back office gave me a hint at part of the problem.
