If I can give this company 0 stars I would. I set up for the cable and internet to be installed July 2nd. The cable guy shows up without the cable box, he says he'll come back Saturday. Saturday comes and goes... no cable guy. I call to get a status update and no one is aware. They tell me that they'll send someone the following week. I open my door to gather my uber delivery and a man is standing outside my door holding my uber bags. He says he'll be back with the rest. 2 minutes later my door swings open... the guy a grabbed my uber delivery from was the cable guy.... The same cable guy as last week. This time he looks at me and tells me he doesn't have an HDMI... he'll have to come back tomorrow at 11:30. I call the cable company... the escalate the ticket. Well... it's 1pm the next day. I call the cable company, there is nothing they can do. Insist in a supervisor so they patch me through to Riece, the tier 1 supervisor... Tiers are important here. In 24 hours I have explained my situation to 4 different people at this company, and now I meet Riece who tells me there is nothing he can do. He only answers to the COO and he gave me my time to talk and now it's his turn. So what I've gathered is this is a cable company who does not provide a service to anybody. They can't solve problems, can't call back, but the most hilarious part is they don't even bother to set up the cable. The lack of professionalism is only matched by the sheer incompetence. I downloaded this app solely to post this comment because I have never in my life seen people get paid to not do their job. If you want a cable box to sit on your entertainment center to collect dust give this company a call. If you would like to actually watch television, call AT&T, Xfinity or any other company because these people will make you wait half a month to watch a blank screen. read more

I am very dissatisfied with the service provided by Broadband MDU at Bay Village 1. As the only internet provider available in the area, I subscribed to their most expensive plan--Rapido! Rapido! Extreme--expecting high-quality service. However, my internet speeds have never even come close to the promised 100 Mbps, so I'm clearly not receiving the service I'm paying for. On top of that, I was hit with a $25 late fee just one day after my payment was due, which feels unnecessary and excessive. These kinds of practices are more commonly seen with companies serving customers with bad credit, which is not my situation. Broadband MDU seems more focused on charging extra fees rather than fixing their subpar service. They shouldn't be advertising the Rapido! Rapido! plan if they can't deliver the speeds they promise. I hope they address these issues soon, but until then, I can't recommend their service. read more

Their service is the worse I have ever experienced. This company makes Comcast look like a 5 Star company. Service is always disrupted, when you call you speak to a person who takes your info and passes it on to a 2nd level that fails to respond. Multiple times my service has gone down only to have to schedule a service appointment and take a half day off of work to get the system reset. Several weeks later it's the same rerun. I've had this internet provider for a year now and I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy - I was forced to get this particular provider over all the others because they had some sort of exclusive contract with my apartment building (which was also terribly run, go figure) so as you can imagine it was basically a dictatorship.... Firstly it took 3 weeks for a "technician" to come out and install the router..... yes 3 weeks, not an exaggeration. When he finally did come, the internet still didn't work, so another technician came out 4 days later, and- what a surprise, he couldn't get it to work either! Finally the first technician came out again 3 days later, and somehow fixed the problem, making the total amount of time my husband and I went without internet a month. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no reception in the apartment building we were living in.. yes I'm talking 0 bars, no LTE, no possibility for a hotspot, nada, zilch..... As you can imagine, during a global pandemic where everyone is suppose to be staying/working from home, social distancing, and quarantining not having internet, and or reception for a month where you're suppose to be spending the most time, has to be a level of hell in Dante's inferno. Anyway I called customer service probably 30 times, talked to probably 50 people (yes they transferred me that much) and finally raised enough much hell that I was able to get a call back from a manager, after explaining my situation the manager reluctantly gave me 2 months free after I threaten to write reviews and file a claim with the better business bureau. True to my word I never wrote a review until they messed up for the final time and my current predicament... This month out of nowhere my internet went out, understanding broadband doesn't have the most reliable of connections in the first place, I go through all the regular motions to identify the problem, nothing works so I end up having to call customer service, only to realize that my card had somehow been unlinked from my account... not only did they not give me any warning, but apparently they let this happen for 3 months. After I was brought up to speed on the issue, I immediately paid the balance. It has now been 4 days and I still don't have internet... I'm actually writing this review from a Starbucks as I have no connection. 0/10 -- garbage company. wish i could leave 0 stars. read more

This company sucks. I had the appointment twice to install the internet and cable and no success. I had the second appointment today, ive waiting the whole day for the technician to arrive and when I called the company to asked them and check what happened they told me that I miss the appointment because nobody was at home, that wasn't true, ive been here at home the whole day with the door opened and no one came, they are also supposed to leave a paper in the door and no paper was there. I also checked with the front desk and they told me no one registered so no one came. Now I have to wait 8 more days because that's the soonest appointment that they have. I contacted them and some idiot told me they would escalate my call to the technicians to see what the issue was. She was even laughing when she was talking to me because she clearly knew it was useless. Does this company even read their reviews? Most company's conduct customer satisfaction surveys so they can view their customers perspective of the business and make any changes for improvement. The only reason I chose to this company is because apparently it's the only one the provides internet service to the condo I moved into. Started off on the wrong foot- Gave me an appointment window for installation and I made sure I was in the apartment the entire time. Called them about 20 minutes before the time window ended and they said the technician would probably get to my house soon... no such thing. Got a call THREE hours after the appointment time window ended that the technician was 10 minutes away, when i was no longer at home so I asked if they could give me 30 minutes to get home, but nope because the technician doesn't work past 3pm. Rescheduled and there wasn't any appointments for installation until the following week- inconvenient since I do work from my computer at home. Once installed things seemed to be going fine until last week when service was down. Called to see if I could get it fixed and they said technician was already working on it a since service was down in the entire building and they would call me back for updates. At the end of the day I had no updates and no internet service. Next day I called again since it was the day I stay to work at home and they said they couldn't find the issue with my specific modem but that they were going to reset everything in the condo so that it should work. This time I got a call back to ask if it was fixed- IT WASN'T so I was told the technician was going to keep trying. Alas, at the end of the day it was not fixed and told I would have to wait until a technician could come to my apartment the following week. I've now had NO INTERNET FOR 6 DAYS. That's basically 1/4 of the month I'm paying for. It's unacceptable. Living in SFL I would understand if there was a big storm I would be out of service and that it would take some time to fix but this isn't the case. They just don't have enough technicians working or they don't care about their customers. I wish I could change service providers. If you have the option to choose another company go for it. They came in did the installation and less than a week later the modem was wiped out, no service, no wifi, nothing. I called and basically they really can't trouble shoot all they can do is tell you to reboot the modem and place a work ticket for a Thursday when they can make it. I just moved into a community that only uses Broadband. I signed up for it two weeks ago. I was automatically charged for my first months service plus $70 install fee before they even came to my house! They told me a technicians would be out to install the cable within a few days. After a week past I called again and was told to wait until the technician calls me. It's been another week now. A neighbor just told me that he stopped paying his Broadband bill months ago because if their horrible service. After reading all the pathetic reviews on this web page I am calling it quits! just called and cancelled the hookup and asked for my money back on the service that never happened. I was never told that a late fee would be applied for asking for a extension. She said that i could only get the late fee removed once a year. She told me that corporate would call me when they are available and disconnected the call without me knowing. I had to call back and argue with this very unprofessional manager. she wasn't even listening to what i was saying and and just talking over me. at one point i told her that customer service it listening to what the customer is saying and replying back to what they are asking you instead of talking over them. so after going back and forward with her she told me she don't have time for this,(an unsatisfied customer) she have other calls to get to after a few more word we eventually hang up. About 15 mins later she calls me back said that corporate removed the late fee. so i spent over 30 mins arguing with this lady just for her to do it anyway.
