Stay away....very very far away. The concept seems simple -- bring a tech to your house to fix and set up whatever needs fixing. I'm not that technical so I found them on Google called them and set up an appointment for a Sunday at 7 pm. They confirmed and assigned a tech. 7 pm rolls around and no one is here.... I call at 715 pm, they told me the tech is on his way. I call back at 735 pm, again they mentioned he's on his way, dont know when he'll be there, but promised to call or text me with an ETA. Nothing. I call back at 755 pm and that's when they advised that the tech never returned their texts and that we needed to reschedule. So I told them let's reschedule for Tuesday at 7 pm I get a text from them on MONDAY at 5 pm telling me they could not find a tech so that my appointment was cancelled. WTF? I call them to tell them my appointment was the next day - Tuesday and they mentioned No it was for Monday. Again, no one listening over there. I called Geek Squad from Best Buy, where I purchased the laptop and they'll be here CONFIRMED on Saturday. I called HelloTech to cancel. I gave them two turns to make it right. They apologized and assumed me that my credit card would not be charged. I just checked my credit card statement and YES they charged my AMEX. Zero stars. With only 7 unreliable techs servicing the Miami Dade market - population close to 1.8 million - maybe you shouldn't be spending so much money on PPC if you can't even service the business. They struggled with the instructions and made several questionable decisions regarding process and sequencing during the work, which required me to get involved. Jesus explained the possibility and level set that I might not be able to conceal the cords. Luckily, he checked and we were able to do the cord concealment as planned. I did hire them because my xfinity recommended this Hello tech . They came in fast, I paid $220 to drop internet cable down thru the wall and the guy from this company lied to Xfinity over the phone they he got the signal. Also he did not install an outlet correctly , and when xfinity came in to fix it, opened the cover- there was a big hole. I called Hellotech, emailed them. They emailed me that they will fix it. And they never got back to me. I just lost money! read more

An alarm system was installed in my house. It turns out that one of the entry sensors (sliding glass door) kept falling off. I called the tech and he called me back and we used What's App so I could show him the problem. He suggested I remove a portion of the sensor and move it down a little, which I did. An hour later it still fell off. I asked him to come back and screw the sensor in. He suggested I go to Home Depot and get really high-quality adhesive and then cut it up to fit. I told him I did not have time and that I needed it done tonight or tomorrow since I am going on vacation. He said he did not have time and suggested I call a different technician. read more

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Needed a cable wire moved. First 2 techs told me they either didn't have the tools needed to drill the necessary hole to run wire from attic to tv or they simply didn't do that type of work; after speaking to 2 customer service reps asked for supervisor who was very nice and apologized and told me they would get a tech out here that was capable of doing the work needed. Well no luck. The third tech showed up and first said he needed authorization to drill a hole. He called the company and was told to tell me they can't drill holes!!! Really??!! The technician took over 4 hours. He drilled another hole in the wall when there was one already there that he could use. I now have to patch a huge hole. And, he didn't leave the drywall that he took out (which would help the patching of the hole). The TV is crooked and is not level. The TV is way too high up on the wall. The mount is coming apart from the bottom of the mount. There does not appear to be any screws there. And, now I fear that my brand new TV will fall off of the wall. read more

If it weren't for the terrific service by Dennis I would not use Hello Tech again. The first visit by Steve was less than satisfactory and came with the attitude he had better things to do. Surprise, Dennis the serviceman who had to return to mount my TV was a star and pleasantly and easily performed mounting my new TV and answered the many questions I had about the set-up for the TV. I highly recommend using Hello Tech for any computer issues you may have. I bought my new computer from Staples and foolishly let them convert my old data to my new machine. I paid them a lot of money to do it incorrectly and had to have Hello Tech reverse almost everything they did. Hello Tech sent their "techie" Frederick to my house at a time that was convenient to me and resolved all of the problems in a little over an hour and gave me excellent advice for keeping my computer safe. I needed a ring pro doorbell installed which was in one of their reviews. I tried calling and it took two messages to get a call back. I had to follow up three times to talk to someone. When I got thru they told me they couldn't help me but yet RING , said their authorized installer was hello tech. I called again to double check with hello tech had to hold five minutes to talk to someone. guess what horrible service and I would never use them. Be careful and use someone else read more
