Root Beer Float, Small Cheeseburger, fries

It was not the best, but was not the worst burgers/rootbeer I've had. I read the reviews for this spot, and they hyped it up to be incredibly good. Especially the rootbeer floats. Picked up my order to take-out, so I can't rate much on the inside of the establishment's ambiance. Service was fast, but to be expected. The fries were fine, though. Just wish they were crispier.

Always see a crowd and decided to finally stop for a dinner treat! Walked in on a Tuesday night to order and take home to enjoy. We met a kind lady, Donna who highly recommended Webers and their yummy-delicious Root Beer. And we were very happy. I ordered a double with cheese, grilled onions & pickles and Hubby ordered a single chili burger with cheese, mustard & pickles. The mustard & pickles overpowered the burger taste but the plain double was delicious! We also got an order of tots! Can't go wrong with tots!!! And the Root Beer was like no other! Absolutely tasty and Rooty! We brought home a container of Root Beer to enjoy. I bet it is great with some vanilla ice cream! The small establishment is quaint and efficient. Limited inside seating but several seats outside along the building walls. Love the cute orange building. Thanks Webers and their awesome repeat customer, Donna! We will be back!

Nothing like an old fashioned Root Beer in a frosted mug! My co-workers decided to grab a burger and sit outside. It was quite windy but we managed without having anything fly away. The burgers were what you might expect - delicious! They were four in our group so each of us ordered a different side. I chose the Fries, to be honest I wasn't a big fan. They were just ok! The Onion Rings a different story, if you like onion rings I would recommend trying these! Tater Tots meh - take em or leave em, Popcorn Chicken was a worthy choice. It did take about 10 min to get out order but the sun was out and none of us seem to mind the wind. An iconic placed to try. . . just make sure it's a nice day! This is a family owned and operated business since June 1933.

Weber's is a Tulsa icon. You can't miss this old-fashioned burger stand when passing by Peoria in Brookside. It's said to be the birthplace of the original hamburger. As the story goes, the family of Oscar Weber Bilby claims the first-known hamburger on a bun was served in 1891 and later Governor Frank Keating proclaimed the first true hamburger on a bun was created and consumed in Tulsa, calling it "The Real Birthplace of the Hamburger". Their burgers, while simple, are fresh and tasty. They are a bit on the smaller side, about what you'd expect from similar establishments. The options of sides are nice. They have french fries, tater tots, and onion rings. Personally, I'm partial to the homemade onion rings. These are breaded, and while I usually prefer beer battered, they still hit the spot whenever I'm craving onion rings. The burgers come with a choice of mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions and pickles. Lettuce and tomatoes can be added for an extra charge. I don't mind the upcharge but my one gripe is they didn't mention it upfront when I ordered a large amount of burgers and just charged extra without asking. Of course, one thing you won't want to pass up on when visiting Weber's is the root beer. The root beer floats are a perfect cold and creamy treat on a warm day. It's what keeps me coming back again and again. The root beer is a homemade family recipe that is refreshing with a nice bite to it. They also sell root beer bottled individually or in a six-pack, my go-to whenever I'm in need of gifts for out of town guests. It's a wonderful way to share a taste of Tulsa with friends and family from outside of the area. True to its roots as a no-frills burger joint, Weber's is worth visiting regularly for its nostalgic atmosphere, comfort food, and irresistible root beer floats.

Finally visited Weber's Root Beer and am SO HAPPY I did. Seriously the spiciest brew I've ever tried -- it's delicious. I went on a Friday right around noon and had no problems walking right up to the indoor window to order. The food took a bit of time, but they post that this is expected because everything is put together grilled and fried fresh while you wait. The intimate indoor seating took me back in time which is where I chose to enjoy my meal. I was satisfied with a small cheeseburger, tots, and root beer float for my first visit. Next time, I'll get onion rings (I hear they're great!) and a bigger root beer (because, duh). If you haven't been, go. It's a historic institution that I hope sticks around for another 80+ years.

Crispy onion rings, but little flavor & only ketchup to dip in :(

Oklahoma seems to have a certain pride when it comes to burger joints that keep it simple. Tulsa…read morehas many chains, local restaurants and pop-ups that are familiar and filling. Encroaching on a seemingly crowded market can be tough but somehow Howdy feels like an already-established diner. While many newer burger places attempt to overwhelm the consumer, Howdy Burger's approach seems to be keeping things simple and delivering what the people want while staying true to the "burger joint" identity. I've had Howdy Burger 2 or 3 times through the years. My first visit was likely in/at Mother Road Market but a more recent visit was on October 29th (2025). In the midst of an economic stall (the federal government was shut down for 4 weeks at that point), eating out seemed like a luxury. I visited around 2pm for lunch. The weather was chilly and the staff was readily available. I was greeted and I browsed the menu for about 2mins before ordering. I ended up getting a single burger & rodeo fries. Afterwards, me & the lady cashier had a brief conversation about the state of the world as business was slower than usual. The restaurant isn't huge but it was well maintained. I sat near the West windows and the food came out shortly after. The highlight of the food was easily the burger itself. It was a decent size, the bread was soft, and the patty was just thick enough. Each bite was equally satisfying as they didn't hold back on the toppings. I will say that the fries are pretty standard, even with the extra toppings. I don't think the Rodeo Fries are worth wild but it didn't hurt to try. Lastly, I LOVE the variety of sauces they offer and the staff are happy to add them directly onto the sandwich or place them on the side. I've since returned to have the Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was just as good, if not better, than most famed chicken sandwich spots. I wasn't familiar with Howdy for a while and, as mentioned, there are many other places to get a cheeseburger, sandwich and/or fries. But what I like about Howdy is that they don't try too hard, they know what sells and they offer great service. Considering the price, consistency in their products and good people behind the counter, Howdy Burger is good enough to replace your favorite burger chain and/or fast food spot.

I really love this place. I think we overlooked it at first because the name just made me think it…read morewas a burger place or something along those lines. It definitely is not that, as we found out! It's actually very tasty and fresh inspired Korean food restaurant. I recommend downloading their app and ordering in the app to get your rewards and points. You can order ahead to go but still eat it at the restaurant. The service has always been very quick and friendly here. They can get a long line around lunch time, but it goes quick and the food comes out hot and fresh within minutes. My go to dish here is the Half and half bowl with half chicken, half bulgolgi steak with rice and fresh steamed veggies. You can also add green onions for free and avocado is an upcharge, but certainly worth it if you are trying to get your healthy fats or just love avocado like me. You also get a choice of 3 sauces. They can all be the same or different. My favorite is the magic sauce, which is like a sweet teriyaki style sauce. I usually get two of those and one of the hotter sauces to add to my bowl before I devour it. Going into the new year a lot of folks might be looking for healthier options, and this one of those options that ticks that box but also delicious, affordable and quick.

I appreciate that there is a tofu option and that it's overall pretty healthy. They have bowls, mini bowls, and plates with steak, chicken, and tofu as protein options. And bing in town on business, I had to go. I went the single meat w/ chz and. Risky FFs. Hanks did not disappoint. Good ol' fashioned juicy chz burger. One where the meat juices mix with the mayo and chz and oh so good. Very filling. And the FFs so crispy. Yo won't be disappointed. Tip: for the best burger deal, get Hank's 1/2 lb special. Way cheaper than buying single patty burger, FFs and drink separate. It's a dbl meat.

The menu is straight forward, straight out of the 60's style, and the place was poppin' at 2:30 in the afternoon. I ordered the Hank's special with cheese and pickles and onions as my only produce. I also ordered tots. I found out later that I could've got them "loaded", which entails tots being smothered in chili and cheese. Next time for sure. My wife had the single with fries. The fries came out piping hot and for simple fries, they were crisp and tasty. My wife's only complaint is the lettuce was wilty, and that is she doesn't like the onions grilled into the burger. That's not a knock on Hank's, just her preference. Me, I love grilled onions on and in my burger. The burger bun was soft and melded with the burger and cheese into a burger nirvana. I look forward to trying their chili cheese tots next time and their milkshakes looked very tasty. We'll be back for sure.

We went through the drive-thru, and I'm assuming the menu outside hasn't been updated in a while. I order the #1, Deluxe Hamburger. Now, I've done my time in food service. I know what deluxe toppings are. Nowhere on the picture or in the name did it insinuate it had cheese on it. So upon ordering, I ask for the #1 Deluxe Hamburger meal, add cheese with a Pepsi. The gentleman asks "so just meat and cheese" and my boyfriend corrects him "no, add cheese." So the cashier repeats back, "okay extra cheese?" And I'm shaking my head. I want one slice of cheese, with the deluxe toppings!!!!!!! Why is that so hard. I literally spell it out for him, I hold my boyfriend back and say "No, I'd like the deluxe hamburger, all the toppings included, just add cheese, please." Whatever, so he takes my boyfriends order then repeats it for us at the end "extra cheese" dear goodness I understand now that the conflicting menus are at fault, but I deliberately told him just one single slice of cheese. Once we are at the window (mind you we are their only customers, both DT and inside) the guy opens the window and holds his hand out for the card. So incredibly rude I've never been that rude even on my worst days as a drive-thru attendant. He didn't say one word to us the entire time, no smiling, nothing. I have 5 years experience in 3 different fast food jobs, so I KNOW the struggle with problematic customers, so I'm always mindful not to be one. But this worker was just plain rude and terrible with his job. Get home, and yep they charged us for extra cheese, which adds up when the meal for 2 is already about $30. Very disappointed this time around, but the food was perfect, so I am indifferent about them closing down.
