My roof was done in one day! It is the best looking roof in the neighborhood. Great service and attention to detail.

They assured us they were a "one stop shop" and could do the whole thing, and that it should only take 2-3 days The project took 2-3 weeks. When the first crew came by to do the insulation they did a great job. When they left, there was no drywall or mudding done. Two days of no updates or a check in, I email to ask what's going on. I'm assured they are waiting on the drywall team and will get back to me. A week goes by, no response, I email again and am told they're still waiting. Another week goes by. Stuff is now falling out of my ceiling. My garage has been filthy and unusable for two weeks. I tell them if we can't get this done this week we will have to go with another contractor to finish the job. Suddenly someone is available to come out the next day. Again, contractor themselves does a great job, but they leave without finishing the attached wall to our house, leaving styrofoam plugs in the wall (not up to fire code or city code). Instead of a check in or follow up, I get an email asking for full payment. At this point I'm fed up with managing this project myself (every contractor who arrived asked us "so what are we doing today" as if they had just been given our address and told nothing else). I email their main email and get a response from the owner a couple days later, all apologies and that they'll get someone right on it Over $7000 to act as my own project manager for a "one stop shop" company. I wouldn't recommend them unless you want to pay them to manage construction crews yourself.

I was quite impressed! (Jason, in particular, who provided the service for the siding was great!) I was equally impressed with the service that Country Financial (Randy and Bob) provided for this project as I was with Paul Wellnitz (Twin City Roofing). All in all - I am very satisfied . . . . . provided there are no surprises. I would recommend Twin City Roofing to anyone for all of their remodeling specialties!

TL;DR several roofing installation mistakes made,…read moresevere lack of communication from TCR throughout the entire process, and I was asked to write a review before work even began - red flag. After getting roof replacement quotes from 5 different companies, I decided to go with the second to cheapest option - which was Twin City Roofing. And of course, I got what I paid for. The problems began after I signed the quote and handed over the deposit check. I live next to a day care and young children play outside all of the time. Paul, the project manager that was working with me, suggested they perform all of the work on the 4th of July week since kids likely wouldn't be at the day care then. I arranged with my neighbor to not have kids there that week. A few weeks go by and I didn't hear from Paul or anyone else at TCR. The Friday before the 4th of July week, I reached out to Paul to find out when they would be coming and he said "Next week I believe". Then on Monday when no one arrived, I reached out to Paul again. He responded by saying he was on vacation and that Robert P. in the production office could help. I reached out to Robert and he said "I can tell you it won't be this week." Obviously I was unhappy that the roof wasn't going to be replaced that week but I was more upset with the lack of communication throughout the process. It should not be on the client to have to contact the company multiple times to try to get answers. Nonetheless, when the roofers came to replace the roof on my house, garage and shed, they came unannounced. The concerning issues came from work on the roofs. The shingles on the ridge of my shed transitioned from shingles that are meant to be put on ridges to what look like starter shingles. It is very obvious this is not correct. And on my garage, there is a full 15" of a starter shingle that is literally just hanging from the edge of my roof. How did this get missed?? And the biggest issue is with the flat roofs on my house. I asked all of the appropriate questions to Paul from the outset to make sure that there would be grading on the flat roofs such that all of the water would flow to the spout and drain. Alas, a few days after the work was complete, we got our first rain storm and I saw water pooling along the edges of the flat roof and heavy pooling in one corner. I contacted TCR on July 14th and sent pictures of all of these issues. I didn't get a response so I sent a second email on 7/20. I finally got a response from Tyler and he asked me when would be a good time the following day for him to check out my issues. I responded with a time in the morning. I then didn't hear back from him and he did not show up the next day. I was later contacted by Robert and he said he was working on a game plan on getting my issues addressed. Five days later (7/26), he sent another email saying he would have a game plan the following day and he would let me know. As you can imagine, I did not hear from him on 7/27. I emailed Robert again on 7/28 with no response. Finally on 8/9, Tyler came out to my house to take pictures of my concerns. He agreed that all of them need to be addressed. He said he would let me know soon what the next steps would be. I have not heard from him since. I emailed Robert on 8/16 telling him Tyler came out to my house and that I was looking for more information when the fixes can occur. I have not heard from TCR since - at all. I should have known from the get go something was off because after I gave Paul the deposit check, he asked me to write a good review of his efforts to boost the company. I was certainly not going to write a review for services that had not yet begun. If you do go with TCR, make sure to pay as little as possible up front so they have to come back and fix issues before they get their full payment.

I don't think I've ever met a more honest guy than Greg. We wanted to get our roof re-shingled, so…read morewe had him come take a look and give us an estimate. The result? We didn't need new shingles for another five years at least. WHAAAA? Someone is actually telling us we don't need to spend money with him yet? Well, that changed when the Great Hail Storm of NE MPLS came around in May. We immediately called Greg, and, after much fussing with our lame-o insurance company, we got our new roof! His guys dropped off shingles one afternoon, started working the next morning, and were totally done by that night. Greg and some others came to do final clean up the following day, and they seemingly got EVERYTHING. No nails. No trash. No shingles. Nada! When the roofers got up onto our roof in the morning, it immediately became apparent that we needed to get the whole thing re-decked. Greg went to work for us, promptly getting the materials the workers needed to complete the job the right way. He also helped us navigate the codes and other requirements our insurance company needed us to document. Even with that setback, by sunset the work was done and all was quiet - and safe from all elements. All of the work cost us several thousand dollars less than other estimates we'd gotten when the roofing vultures descended on our neighborhood, and I dare say it was completed by the most honest, skilled guy around. Greg is super nice, wants his customers to be happy and satisfied, and pretty obviously believes in doing a job 100% right the first time. We've recommended Oneka to everyone, so naturally I had blab to the Yelp-iverse, too. We have a beautiful new roof that's going to last us a long time thanks to Greg + Oneka Roofing!

So when we needed new roofing, siding, gutters, gutter covers, facia and soffits I obtained several quotes. Erik didn't hesitate to come out to Farmington and quote the project. We had some "slick" salespeople and we had a guy that wouldn't give me a quote (he really didn't like women was my opinion) and would only deal with the insurance company. Erik was professional, honest and not "slick." The price was fair. My test is always the "warm and fuzzies." After a few meetings with Erik, he had my business. Then came the problems. Every color combo for all of the above items had items out of stock, discontinued or something. Erik made a lot of phone calls and several vendor trips. I have no idea how many combos we went through - probably 15 or so. Finally we found a combo that could be put together. YEAH!!!! Erik was patient through all of the "I hate neutrals" moments and several trips of holding colors against the house in different light. Roof install went well and then we had to wait 2 weeks for the siding. The siding installation was completed and they came back and fixed a couple of small items and we were done before Thanksgiving. Erik was around almost daily and even picked up extra FOD on his own. They installed our new lights and Ring cams too. Erik was easily reachable and kept on top of the project and kept me up to date. Very impressed. They were within $7 of the original quote (I think permit fees changed). Very happy and thankful that I selected Erik and Roofs R Us.
