Capstone was fantastic to work with. I initially started the roofing project by collecting 10+…read morebids. I eventually narrowed those bids down to 3. From this point it really came down to attitude and it wasn't even a fair fight. Dave Mack had an amazing attitude and personality to boot. He was attentive to the details and went over everything with me multiple times, to make sure I was comfortable. Dave was also present on the job site to work with me through all of my questions - I'd like to think I'm pretty hands-on. For my house, we went with the architectural shingles with the weathered wood coloring. We replaced my roof caps with a crisp bronze color that makes everything pop. We replaced all of the metal pieces with the same bronze color, spray painted the old cast iron pipes and even gave my furnace exhaust a new top. There were only 3 vents that stayed black. This was by choice, as a few years of the weather elements would have left these chipping and would require more maintenance. Dave went over all of these design choices with me to formulate the best possible solution for my house - one that we would mutually agree upon. It's worth noting that the entire job took roughly 4-5 hours to complete. Regarding pricing, Capstone was not the cheapest, nor were they remotely close to the most expensive. You get what you pay for and in the end, I received excellent service, an efficient job and a beautiful looking roof/house. I believe I was given a fair price, great service and high quality workmanship to boot. In closing, I'm writing this review, not to simply recommend that you use Capstone, but that you give them a chance. If your bidding experience goes anything close to how mine went, I'm confident you'll pick Capstone. Not only that, but once the job is complete, you'll be proud of the work done. Thank you, Mike

Envisioned Concepts Construction LLC was provided by Home Depot. It took only pics of the damage and full structure texted; the bid received in 1 day was in the range a retired contractor estimated. I agreed to Envisioned Concepts Construction LLC's bid when the owner, Alex Nelson visited the project & confirmed it was a one-day project; penciled the day 3 weeks out, in HOA time frame. Alex Nelson was easy to communicate with, texts facilitated communication as he has new and ongoing projects. As I communicate to the HOA lawyer, Alex provided me the documents quickly. Fortunately Feb 14 had fine weather to complete the project. The 2-person crew that was to remove the rotted beam, build the temporary support and then add the new beam and remove the temporary support arrive about 8:15...as they were having a phone conversation with Alex to get the supplies Alex ordered @ the local Menards -- the Door Specialist arrived. The Door Specialist completed taking the door down as the 'Beam Crew' returned with all supplies. By 3PM the 'Beam Crew' nearly completed their work, also sawing the rotted beam and clearing all materials into their truck. I phoned the Door Specialist and he returned to put the garage door back in place and fully functioning by the time the 'Beam Crew' were ready to leave. This coordination by Alex throughout the project was First Class and the Garage Specialist finished before 5PM. As the rotted beam was likely due to the HOA not providing flashing or maintained caulking standard -- Alex with his Construction professional expertise joined me to write a letter on these matters to the HOA lawyer. We await to receive a response. In Sum: I fully recommend Envisioned Concepts Construction LLC for you projects! Alex Nelson will be fully attentive and easily accessible with clear communication for your project, irrespective of the size and complexity!

Having never worked with a remodeling contractor before, I could only go in the beginning with my…read moreimpressions of Mr. Gula. What I can say, is that from the beginning, he seemed not only very knowledgeable, but dedicated and very enthusiastic about his work. The contract that was developed and I signed was thorough, and offered main level remodeled trim, paint, doors and walls that I decided to add in addition to the main work of remodeling the kitchen, putting in hardwood floors, and redoing our stairs so they were hardwood as well. The project once it began took two months. It would have been shorter but for the fact it was over the Christmas and New Year holiday. What I want to say more than anything else is how very pleased I am with my new house. It is beautiful. The kitchen has new granite countertops, cabinets, and backsplash that are still a delight to behold. But the trim work and new doors throughout the main level are truly stunning. It was given all enamel painting and is beautiful. Mr. Gula also agreed to add a replacement of our front door for a very reasonable price. And finally, Mr. Gula returned several times to touch up items that were left undone, or needed touching up. I am so grateful and pleased with his work, and highly recommend him.

Also told them of the wall outlet that doesn't work and the person I talked to said he would look at it while he was here. Well, another worker showed up, didn't know anything about the outlet and it took 4 hours to replace the tile. I didn't check the tile until after the worker left as they had been often I figured they could at least get the color right. I cannot express enough how difficult it has been to work with thia company and would not recommend them to anyone.
