Years ago I hired Roofs R Us to replace my dad's roof and add gutter covers. They did an excellent job. But the company changed hands since then. So when we needed new roofing, siding, gutters, gutter covers, facia and soffits I obtained several quotes. Erik didn't hesitate to come out to Farmington and quote the project. We had some "slick" salespeople and we had a guy that wouldn't give me a quote (he really didn't like women was my opinion) and would only deal with the insurance company. Erik was professional, honest and not "slick." The price was fair. My test is always the "warm and fuzzies." After a few meetings with Erik, he had my business. Then came the problems. Every color combo for all of the above items had items out of stock, discontinued or something. Erik made a lot of phone calls and several vendor trips. I have no idea how many combos we went through - probably 15 or so. Finally we found a combo that could be put together. YEAH!!!! Erik was patient through all of the "I hate neutrals" moments and several trips of holding colors against the house in different light. Roof install went well and then we had to wait 2 weeks for the siding. The siding installation was completed and they came back and fixed a couple of small items and we were done before Thanksgiving. Erik was around almost daily and even picked up extra FOD on his own. They installed our new lights and Ring cams too. Erik was easily reachable and kept on top of the project and kept me up to date. Very impressed. They were within $7 of the original quote (I think permit fees changed). Very happy and thankful that I selected Erik and Roofs R Us. read more

I posted this on Google as well - but since Yelp helped me find Roof's R Us, I wanted to post here as well... ... I had a concern with a soffit separation issue and tried to contact three local (to me) roofing companies.. First one - no answer - just rang and rang. Second one went to voice mail that came across as a Voice Mail box from personal cell - kinda unprofessional - I didn't bother leaving voice mail. Third one - I called - no answer, I left Voice mail - no replay next day, I sent email - no replay. I was at a loss. Then I turned to yelp to search roofing companies with good ratings...thats when I found Roof's R Us. I can't speak highly enough about Roof's R Us My first call was answered, no voice mail, and by a real person non the less. - that was follow-ed up by a prompt meeting with the estimator (Mike) per my request. Mike came by the next day and took his time, answered all of my questions and did an exceptional job explaining things. He offered some additional work that I had been planning on doing myself, but didn't want to delay till next year, so I gladly accepted the estimates. Once I received and approved the estimates - they were able to complete my project in two days - they did a fantastic job, cleaned up after themselves, and I will say, they went above and beyond. Did a fantastic job with roof replacement. They scheduled me within a week and even moved me up when there was an opening. Their quote was near the lowest but they took the time to offer options specific to my house as well which I really appreciated. They estimated the number of the deck boards that might need to be replaced and included that in the quote. They were correct down to the board which was obvious once the old shingles were removed. Erik followed up with phone calls walking me through the quote and process and was great. The crew was hard working and stayed until the job and cleanup was done. I tipped the guys on the crew but they were very humble about even taking it. I could not find a single nail in my yard after they left and they even sent someone the next day to check the yard again. No surprises in the job or the bill. Highly recommend. read more

Two weeks ago we were in the family room & all of a sudden heard a big "boom" in the front part of the house. The house shook a bit like a car hit the neighbor's house. My sister & I ran outside to see what happened but didn't see anything, & a neighbor was already outside & didn't hear anything. Then a week later I found a throw rug in a basement room that was soaking wet so I thought the boom might have been a part of the roof collapsing caused by the extreme heavy snow this past winter season. I called Roofs R Us the next day on Friday afternoon & they set up an appointment right away for Monday with Erik. Erik showed up on time & asked what was going on. He did a walk-around of the house & looked at the interior where the water had leaked. He walked through the attic & advised the beams & chimney were in good shape. Then he walked around on the roof & didn't see any damage. Having him look at everything gave me peace of mind that the roof was ok, but I still don't know what caused the big boom. He recommended calling a plumber for the water leak before something gets worse, & I'll take that advice. Erik was extremely friendly & knowledgeable. This company and its owner are phenomenal!! I have been telling everyone about them. So, we had several bids from roofing companies and another company noticed that the estimate given by Roofs R us was substantially less than he could offer. He looked into the details and found out that Roofs R Us measured our roof wrong and underestimated how much it would cost by about $1000 or $1500. We told the owner of Roof R Us, fully expecting him to knock the price back to where it should be. He remeasured the roof, told us that it was his mistake and he would honor the original bid, saving us a LOT of money.
