Weather Masters Plumbing LLC was sent out to my newly rented home in Maricopa this summer. Knowing this was an irrigation issue and not a plumbing issue, I was not at all surprised when Brent was unable to resolve the issue. But here is where Brent's true nature shined through... Despite being unable to fix the irrigation issue, Brent noticed that there was a large amount of water flowing through the house, even after the irrigation was shut off. I imagine many plumbers wouldn't even have looked to see if this was happening once they realized they couldn't fix the issue they were dispatched to resolve. Brent took the time to walk around the property to see if there was a noticeable leak and then spoke to me about water running in the home. (There was no *known* water running at that time.) Needless to say, I was more than a little panicked! I had only moved into the home just shy of two weeks earlier. I hadn't noticed any leaks, but I had reported strange seemingly plumbing related noises on the day I moved in. Once he received approval from my landlord to enter the home to determine what was causing so much water to be flowing through the house, Brent very quickly recognized that the noises were related to a water softener. In a short amount of time, he found that there had been a water softener installed in the crawl space above the garage and that this water softener had been removed without properly capping the pipes. (Or something along those lines. I'm not a plumber. Ask Brent. ) Brent turned the water off to the home, per my request, and then finally received approval to return two days later to fix the problem and restore the water flow to the home. Were it not for Brent and the confidence he instilled in me, this would have been an even more stressful situation for me. Brent was the absolute best plumber that could have been sent out to my home. I'm sure the other plumbers at Weather Masters are wonderful, but I'm not sure that any of them can hold a candle to Brent. I will literally never forget him and will recommend Weather Masters Plumbing LLC to anyone who will listen. read more

I don't know where to start. When we bought the unit, they offered to throw in a cleaning on our old unit. It's 10 years old, so that seemed like a good idea. The tech came out, was not friendly at all, he went up in the attic for 45 minutes. At one point I heard him on the phone complaining about the job. Came down and told me he couldn't do the job. He then had the nerve to ask me for the final payment. I told him I wasn't paying until the job was complete. He got angry at me and stormed out. Fast forward a couple months into the peak heat of the summer, the unit takes a really long time to start cooling. I timed it, starts blowing air at 97 degrees, takes 2.5 minutes just to blow air at room temperature, then 7.5 minutes to reach the coolest air. Runs for another 2.5 minutes and shuts off. Repeats this cycle every ten minutes. Hardly seems efficient for the most efficient, most expensive unit they sell. I called three times last week to discuss with the service manager to see if something seemed wrong to him. I was told each time they were short staffed and he was in the field. I called again yesterday and got the same story. I was told the best way to ensure I could speak with him was to schedule a service appointment. The only time they had available was 3-7 pm today. Got a text at 6 pm saying the same tech I had all the issues was on his way. WTH?!? They're happy to sell you a unit and take your money, but their service leaves a lot to be desired! read more

I've been using Weather Masters for years for my ac units on two of my properties. They are reliable, courteous, and honest. Most recently, I've had Dwayne to my house and he went above and beyond, ensuring he cleaned up after himself, he was very polite and friendly. I see a lot of my neighbors replacing their units, and mine are both still going strong. There is no doubt in my mind this is due to Weather Masters and how they've handled my units over the years. They are a hoax! My AC cut off in the early morning and they came out and fixed it which was the only good part. Then I signed up for their yearly maintenance and each time they said that there was a leak and that they cannot find it. After five years of this then they suggested that I replace the AC unit. How is there a leak in the AC continues to work? They can never explain the leak. Eventually I got a second opinion who double checked for a leak with two different methods. I live in a condo and I am not able to view any of this nor am I an expert in AC units to even say otherwise. They are a scam to keep their maintenance plan and they almost cost me putting in a whole new AC unit. Of course, they were willing to replace it and charge me thousands! Do not use them! read more

Great company, we had them out a couple times, my AC likes to quit during the hottest day of the year every year. The technician was great and came out late in the evening after an already busy day and got it working (my family of 7 was happy about that). I had a clogged dryer vent. The dryer is in the basement and vents out on the roof. I tried to clean it myself and only made the problem worse by getting the brush jammed inside adding to the blockage. I had a company come out that said they could take care of it and paid a lot of money for them to tell me it was impossible. I contacted Keith at Weather Masters and he put a plan together. He pulled in the plumber Chance to figure out the complex issue. After 2 months of not being able to use our dryer we are finally up and running. We first called another plumber closer to us that we've used before. They showed no interest in helping us right away. Thankfully, we called Weather Masters. When our AC was acting weird (but still working), they got someone out to us in a few days. A really nice guy named Jason came, checked the AC unit, and said everything was fine. But the next day, our AC wasn't fine after all--it stopped working! Weather masters sent another guy named Edward to take a look that same day. He got it all fixed up and working again, for a price much less than we expected. What I loved about both these guys was their honesty and professionalism. Even though Jason hasn't spotted the problem, I still felt very comfortable and well taken care of. Firstly I don't like writing negative posts but felt this is important. Within two years my brand new Day and Night AC supplied by Weather Masters stopped working in the middle of a record breaking AZ summer. I was told that parts were guaranteed but labour is not covered beyond a year after installation. The technician did a stellar job in repairing the unit in two hours telling me that one of the copper lines in the AC unit was rubbing against another because of vibration causing a hole to be worn in an adjacent pipe . The repair was to patch the pipe drain and re fill the coolant which of course was not covered in any warranty. In short I feel this unit had a defect that was not due to wear and tear within the short time it was installed and should have been covered by either manufacturer or installer. I don't mind paying service fees but feel I was gouged for nearly $500, I'm not gonna say I'll shop around for quotes when temps are 112 degrees. Be aware that warranties have holes in them too. read more

We bought our unit three years ago through Weather Masters. We do a lot of traveling and have never thought of purchasing a maintenance plan let alone annually servicing our unit. When we returned home from San Diego, we cranked up the AC. We noticed the rooms weren't cooling down. After an inspection of our unit, we found it wasn't working. We immediately called WM around 10:00pm. Chris showed up at our doorstep approximately 30 minutes later and did his magic. The unit worked. Chris was friendly and professional. He helped us understand what happened to the unit. He also suggested having our unit thoroughly maintenance and to also look into their PMP. We were very happy with the service. read more

As a property manager we use weather masters all the time for our clients. We have received very good customer service and they are very competent at what they do. I trust them very much when they call me with a diagnosis. Their prices are fair and must lower than some of the big name firms. they do respond very well at nights and on the weekends. I would not recommend this company to anyone. During the installation of a new system, they broke one of the wires that go between the heat pump and the thermostat. There was a spare wire in the bundle so then next day a serviceman was able to get the system working correctly. He wrote me a bill (later they canceled) explaining the problem. I think they should replace the wire bundle. They think it's working and that's enough. read more
