Appreciate Morehart adjusting their schedule to send a tech to look at my AC concern before my flight out of town. Tech was knowledgeable and tested the system. He explained why I was feeling from air from vents when Ecobee thermostat was in auto mode. Thanks much. read more

Horrible company and customer service. I did an annual swamp cooler tuneup. Keep in mind all worked optimally before they arrived. Technician advised I needed a float valve which I paid for. Then within a week the unit stopped working. They came back, same technician, extremely rude and acted unprofessional as if I inconvenienced him. He looked at the unit and within a few minutes told me it was fixed. Next day, same problem, unit blowing at about half the capacity. I called and spoke with management, who agreed to send new technician. New person arrived and advised I needed a new belt, which he comped because of bad experience. Next day, still not working. Look at the video, does this look like quality work? The belt is so loose and out of balance, it's pathetic. Look at the calcium buildup, all occurred during this period of two weeks when Morehart was "working on solution". Do not use this company. They cost me 178$ and then another 225$ for a new company to fix their mistakes and clean out unit to get running optimally. read more

Reputable Company. Morehart replaced my evaporative cooler recently. It worked great till it didn't. I called the office. Within an hour, they had a repairman come out and take care of the problem. To get that kind of response nowadays is remarkable. I highly recommend them. read more

Total rip off. Our AC stopped working. They were the initial installers of the unit 7 yrs ago. They were prompt in their response to the service call. After agreeing to the $100 service call, they diagnosed the problem as a low voltage wire not working feeding the outside temperature to the control panel. A diagnosis that took apx 30 min. He said they could fix it. 45 min of labor and some small wire it was working. But they charged $1,100. For 45 min of their time. I asked them if they thought this was fair and ethical. They had no response, but charged my card read more

We had an issue earlier this summer and my husband called Morehart AC, they were out within two hours of our call and resolved our issues within 30 mins. Our technician was professional and made sure to not only show us respect but also our property. I'm reading reviews whereby these people are expecting an HVAC company ( not a manufacturer) to carry every part for every brand in their vans, that's just not possible, nor is it reasonable to think they'd have it all! There are multiple brands and thousands of parts. All I know is the part we needed was on their van and our repair was done at that time. I'd also note, we called a big named company and they couldn't get out to our house for two days, so Morehart AC all the way! read more

John was very efficient in diagnosing the problem. He explained what happened and put in safeguards to prevent it from happening again. Price was reasonable. read more

This is one of the best companies I have used. Always reliable and the technicians are very well experienced. It's good to know I can call an AC company at 1am and someone answers the phone and is willing to do service for emergency calls. read more

Tom was dispatched quickly to address a warranty issue. He climbed into our attic in 107 weather without complaint. While up there, he took pictures of our circa 1911 wiring suggesting possible issues and recommending we hire an electrician to have them checked out. He appeared very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Thank you Tom & Morehart for your prompt and courteous service on a very stressful day! read more

If I could give ZERO starts, I would! ZEROOOO! Our A/C went down so we called Morehart off hours to see if someone can fix it. They were responsive and a technician did show timely. The technician was friendly and informative. Unfortunately, the technician did not have the part needed to repair the problem. Morehart told us they will check on Sunday (if they open the shop) and see if they have the part. If not, we would have to wait until Monday whether they do have it or have to order it which can take longer. I called the following morning and the response was, "if they let us in the shop to check but we should have a more definitive answer Monday whether we have it or need to order it". My rating is due to poor customer service and inconsideration. We live in Arizona! The week will be above 110 degrees all week! Currently, my house is 91 degrees. I asked the lady on the phone with Morehart, if we go to a hotel or rent an Airbnb, will it be covered by Morehart? Her response was, "this is the units fault and not Morehart". UNACCEPTABLE! So you just want us to just slowly cook in our house because 1. You don't have the part 2. You have to order it and may take a couple days 3. It's not Moreharts fault but ours? We live in Arizona! This should be an expectation and the company should be more equipped and prepared to handle these types of situations on a daily business. You are an A/C freaking company! I work in Healthcare! If a patient needs something, we are well equipped and prepared for the worst. Patients don't wait! We drop everything and make sure we meet every expectation and need for the patient! How is this any different, knowing the summers are the worst in Arizona so preparation and equipment should be high and expected during the summer?! I mean, the Arizona Summers should be your busiest and where you should be making money? Maybe the head of your company doesn't really know business and how to run a company properly. read more

These guys were the only people in town to pick up the phone. My family and I have used Morehart for years, with no complaints. They are honest, fair, and truly care about their customers. I had an issue with my unit this week and it was quickly addressed. The team, both Tom and Brian, worked diligently to be sure everything was working properly and always take the time to explain the problem and the actions that they take to correct. I am thankful to have found a company I trust. One who goes above and beyond to ensure that their customers are taken care of. I cannot recommend Morehart enough. read more

We thought we had a leaking condenser and there was lots of water all over the garage floor. The first company I called was three hours late, and they recommended that we spend $2400 to replace what they said was a leaking condenser coil. I did not feel right about what they told me since they had not even taken the condenser out and there wasn't any ice-over on the coils, so instead I called Morehart Air Conditioning so I could get a blind second opinion. Morehart was here in less than 40 minutes from the time I placed the call. Once their technician showed up he was quick to let me know that he thought it was just a clogged PVC pipe on the pan that normally drained the condensation. Sure enough, after using a CO2 cartridge to blow out the line the water flowed right on out of there and there was no further problem. For just under $150, the so-called $2400 replacement of the condenser unit was resolved. Sure - there may not be any "Melvins" on the other people's job, but apparently they are paying for those expensive commercials with the money they take from people who don't need what they're selling us. Not so with Morehart. Do yourselves a favor, and call these guys first. You could save thousands of dollars, and a lot of aggravation! Oh - and yes, the technician who came out was Tom. I suspect he is the same Tom that someone else left a negative review for. I can tell you from firsthand experience that Tom is a professional, top notch, sincere and knowledgeable guy and he was very easy to talk to. He explained everything to me as he did it, and showed me so that I understood everything. There were no communication difficulties, and I trust him and this company FAR beyond the "big guys" who send out G-d knows who to work on your unit. read more

The singularly nicest service/repair company I've delt with in years! The day of my appointment, I received a call from Tom Greene in the early afternoon telling me that he was running ahead of schedule and if I wanted him to come early he could- or he could wait till my allotted appointment window of three to five pm. (Of course I let him come over hours early!) Tom was polite, professional and quickly took a look at the A/C unit. He diagnosed the problem, said he'd have it fixed in a few minutes and took the time to explain to me what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it. Once it was up and running again, he waited until the machine "warmed up" so that he could make sure that it was working 100%, it was blowing cold enough and that there were no other problems. I couldn't recommend him more highly! If I was in my early to mid-twenties, and single I'd have tried to convince Tom to run away with me right then and there. (Sorry, Honey.) He was seriously that great. I'm new to this state so I don't have much experience with A/C repair companies but from what I have heard from others its never really a GOOD experience. Mine was. We will be leaving this rental home to purchase shortly and I can honestly say that Tom from Morehart is the only person I'll be calling if there is a problem with our heating and air conditioning. read more

Thanks to Tom, I'm a Morehart customer for life! After "winning" two free AC service visits from a *different* company, their tech recommended $700 in urgent repairs, threatening that my AC could shut down any second without the fixes. The whole thing felt sketchy to me (how did I even win this?!), so after getting a referral from a family member, I called Morehart. I first have to say .... TOM IS WONDERFUL! As I explained the situation over the phone, and read him the measurements provided by the other tech (only after I demanded that he give them to me), Tom advised that he was really doubtful the repairs were actually needed. I scheduled a service visit so he could come do a thorough check and confirm his suspicions. Tom arrived promptly, and was extremely kind, courteous and conscientious. He explained everything thoroughly in ways I could understand, and without making me feel like a moron ((ahem-- last tech)). Not only did he confirm that the $700 in "urgent" repairs were NOT needed, but he found a smaller repair that was actually needed ... apparently the other company's tech was too busy inventing expensive, fake issues to catch any real problems. In addition to this fix, our exterior AC unit is now quieter and fully cleaned, the loud rattle in the attic unit is now gone completely, and I have confidence there are no leaks in the attic ductwork. All for $500 less than the other schmucks. Thank you Tom! read more

Was referred with my home warranty and the service was great, they fixed a leaky vent. Very pleasant, friendly, and honest. Called them to fix our AC at 10pm. The tech was a jerk about coming out after hours. He then took 5 minutes to diagnose a problem and wanted $300 for labor to fix a 2 minute issue. We called the dispatcher to complain and they did nothing about it. Stay away from this company. read more

If I could give a negative rating I would. In 2016 Morehart installed a mini split ac in my garage. Since then I have had 4 repair calls, paid well over $1,000.00 in trip, labor and Freon to keep this system running. The problem has ALWAYS been identified as a connector/joint that loosens. That joint is from Morehart's installation. I know that when you have to keep adding Freon there is some type of a leak. Morehart keeps "tightening" the joint which is like putting a band aid on the problem. The last time Morehart was out for service I paid a trip charge along with labor and Freon to once again "fix" the problem to put another band aid on the problem and was told nothing lasts forever by the technician. My response was it is only 5 years old and adding Freon is not the solution. If you need to have service 4 times in 5 year on ANYTHING it is defective item or installed incorrectly. I will not use Morehart for any of my AC needs. I will not recommend Morehart to my friends of neighbors I will find a company that knows what they are doing and will FIX the problem. read more

No Hot Water? No problem for Morehart! I've used Morehart multiple times and always comfortable giving them as a referral to friends and family. Thanksgiving weekend saviors! These guys are the best! We have a couple of aging units that keep having issues. I know we need to replace them, but we just cannot afford to at this time. Every time the guys from Morehart come out, they fix them quickly and with the best and friendliest attitudes. Brian is usually the gentleman who comes out to help us, but I got to meet Tom G. today. I just cannot say enough words on how happy I am with this company and the folks who work here. read more

Recently I posted a review of Morehart which explained how Morehart came out to exam my AC which they told me was going to be a free exam. When the tech got here he said I needed a new AC. I said no so he said then he'd replace a fan for 2,000 but I'd have no AC for 10 days. I said no. Then he said I owe 65.00 since I didn't take their estimate. Parker brothers did it for 1,000 installed fan same day. Morehart turned me to a collection agency for the 65.00. When Morehart read my review of them they came back with a long false statement of complete untruths. Their long protest to my review indicates their dishonesty (thou protests too much). I'm a 88 yr old widow living alone so I'm sure Morehart thought I'd be a easy one. Now I shall contact the ROC to see what they think. That is contractor licensing Dept. read more

Tom was a lifesaver! Our AC went out on a Saturday night during a heat blast! The company we purchased the unit from wasn't able to schedule us until Monday due to high demand. Our friend had dealt with Tom before and recommended this company. Sunday, Tom said he was in the area and could come by and look at it. Less than a half an hour our AC was back on! Tom answered all my questions, was so polite and courteous, and went the extra mile to fix a vent that was installed backyards, how would I have figured that out? It was a great price, great service and we would highly recommend them! Thanks Tom! read more

Thank you Morehart (especially Tom, Mason and his crew) for the great work they did in replacing our 2 HVACs earlier this month. They were efficient and thorough, despite the heat and small working space in our attic. It is sad to see the denial, and the accusation. The thought of a new air handler did not come up until Tom mentioned it (I gave specifics in my first review) this is a pathetic attempt at trying to save face, instead of admitting the problem. I am glad to have online reviews. They put a transparency on to companies that forces a higher level of customer service. I still would not recommend morehart. Just one thing more to say in closing. If the air handler did not need to be replaced, then why would another company come out, find the problem, recommend it be replaced, get the approval; and are now about to finish the job? I left a message for the owner and he never returned my call either, but I am not surprised. read more

I needed some minor repairs on our attic insulation and decided to try out these guys based upon the strong reviews. The service provider was on time, early actually, and was quickly able to determine what needed to be done and the estimated cost. The service was completed very quickly and to my satisfaction. However, I was charged for 1 hour or labor for a job that took no more than 25 minutes. I appreciate the service, but also feel I was quoted and charges too much. After having my A/C system begin blowing warm air, I called the company, Morehart, who had inspected the system just over 30 days ago. I explained to their phone representative that the system seemed to be blowing warm air, and that they had previously been out to check the system prior to me purchasing the home. After checking her records, and putting me on hold to talk with the manager, the Morehart representative tells me that because it's only a few days after the 30 day inspection period, SHE HAD GOTTEN THE OK to send someone out to diagnose the system for free. I did not ask for a free follow up, she presented the offer to me. I said ok, and we scheduled it for the following day, Thurs. 6/21 between 11am and 1pm. So now here I am having to sweat out the night in 100 degree temperatures, expecting to have my A/C issue addressed the next day between 11am and 1pm as agreed upon. I wake up today 6/21, check my voicemail and get a message from the rep I spoke to the previous day, and the message says they will not come out to check the system unless I pay them a $65 fee. I call them back immediately, as its another hot Arizona day, and ask the representative (the same person I spoke to the day before) what the deal is? You made me an offer to come out, said it was confirmed by your manager, and now I have a voicemail saying you will not come unless the fee is paid. The reality is the fee is not the issue, it's just poor business practice to renege, is it not? So after a brief discussion on business ethics, the rep. puts me on hold again, saying she has to check with the manager. She comes back on the line in a matter of minutes and says that they WILL COME OUT AS ORIGINALLY AGREED UPON. OK, though strange, done and the issue is solved. Nope, not the case. So now it's about 10:15, I'm missing work waiting in a hot house, anticipating the technician, so we can get the issue solved and my phone rings. Guy on the phone tells me that he is a supervisor from Morehart, and that THEY WILL NOT BE COMING OUT unless the fee is paid. So now we have a flip flop times 4. First they were coming out, voicemail says they are not coming out, after phone call they are coming out, now they are not coming out again. Supervisor even goes as low as to run the typical line to me in question form saying, "Now would you go and work for free in your business?" Slimy statement. My response, "Yes I would, if indeed my representative communicated that to a customer, and IT WAS BACKED BY A MANAGERIAL DECISION, TWICE!" Good business practice, I think not. If they had been straight up from the start, and said they would not come out, I would have contacted my other resources. Instead they give me the run around while it's 100 plus degrees. If this is the type of wish/washy company you want to have entrusted to keep you cool when the Arizona summer hits and your system has issues, have at it. Not me, and not the type of company I would deal with again. read more
