After the installation was complete, the workers did a final inspection and noticed that one of the window panels had a small flaw and the secondary lock on the new sliding door wasn't working correctly. Jaci immediately took charge and filed a work order with Milgard to get it serviced. Milgard's team responded quickly, scheduled a visit, and fixed both issues perfectly. Not only are we saving money on energy bill, the house is now really *quiet* from the outside noises. The demolition andinstallation team of Jose, Gabriel and Jairo could not have done a better job! They were timely, efficient and professional. They demolished the shower and tub one day and took away all the debris. Then, the next day, they built the frame and installed the new walk in shower exactly as we requested. They were pleasant to have on our property and we're considerate in where they set up their workstation and parked their trucks. We did have a challenge posed by the installation day with company coming to visit us... And they worked out a mutually agreed upon date that met our needs. It was difficult for me to find the repair service, and I am glad I found MJ'S Windows To fix my vertical sliding window, they needed to purchase new sliding parts. They provided fair fees and fast service. Marco made a good effort to fix my old sliding glass door, which was improperly installed and therefore badly skewed. I like that MJ's gives you the option of repair or new installation without commercial pressure. I will definitely contact them with a new project in the future.

Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Unfortunately, I had a random vandalism incident in which a second story bedroom window was smashed with a wrench. Jesse was able to look at the photos and let me know that this was not a good fit for us to work together as it was not a full window replacement. However, that didn't stop him from sharing knowledge with me to help me get my problem resolved. As I don't deal with 'window replacements' (my words) very often I was having trouble describing that I wanted to window casing replaced as well and kept calling it a "frame" (probably why my messages with other vendors were also not going so well, ha). However, Jesse still took the time to go back and forth with me until he understood what I was describing then let me know this job was a "glass replacement" and the part I was describing was a "glazing bead". I thanked him and thought that would be it. So I went on my way looking for those who do glass replacement via Yelp which then recommended that I update my inquiry. Well, first thing the next morning, Jesse saw my update and reached back out to me with further recommendations on getting my problem resolved (even though he was already helpful and we agreed it wasn't the right fit between us). -- People helping people with nothing to gain, what a crazy thought! Anyway, I still haven't resolved the issue as it this all happened outside of normal business hours, but I'm positive that Jesse has saved me a lot of time and frustration by sharing his knowledge with me when he didn't have to. While we're not working together on this particular project, I always look for the kinds of people and businesses that I would like to do business with - and it's this type of care about their craft and care for others that deserved a shout out.
