I waited for a few weeks before leaving a review, it had rained for a few days a 2 weeks ago so far so good and No leaks. It was difficult for me to find the repair service, and I am glad I found MJ'S Windows To fix my vertical sliding window, they needed to purchase new sliding parts. They provided fair fees and fast service. Marco made a good effort to fix my old sliding glass door, which was improperly installed and therefore badly skewed. I like that MJ's gives you the option of repair or new installation without commercial pressure. I will definitely contact them with a new project in the future.

My experience with Vixco Glass Depot is mixed - 3/5 stars…read more Our closet mirror doors had broken due to age, and I reached out to Vixco to provide an estimate, ultimately choosing to move forward to replace two closet doors. They were able to come out and measure quickly, and two-ish weeks later they were able to install the doors without an issue. For context, my building is a bit older so the floors were uneven and they did note that when installing. After we redid the interiors of our closet after replacing the doors, a piece had either fallen out or came loose during the interior installation - this was not Vixco's fault, and they were able to quickly come out and replace/repair everything as intended. However, months have now gone by, and our closet doors have started to become slightly crooked - again, my assumption is that this is not Vixco's fault (they did note that our floors were uneven), but nonetheless, I texted them asking to 1) set up time for a repair and 2) they responded confirming a date but not a time after multiple outreach attempts. My initial text to them was on September 9th, and it is now September 23rd - the last time I heard from them was on September 11th despite multiple attempts to contact them (Sept 11/13/16/18). While I'd vouch for them if you're looking for someone to do the job quickly, be wary if you need them to repair something as what started off strong has quickly soured.

But for safe practices & clean up I would give 2 stars... (maybe still being generous). Yes, they let me know that I would need to move any furniture out of the way &/they would cover the beds with a blanket BUT by the time I decided what to do, the worker was already chipping away at the broken glass windows. How am I supposed to move a king size bed within a minute? And though I did move my child's bed, it still got glass on it. Now, both my bed and my 5Y child's bed still have shards of glass including our floors, window sills & who knows where else in addition to debris. It's not tons, but some pieces big enough to be concerning & cut our foot on &/scrape our face. I also intentionally folded up the blanket they used to "prevent" such a mess myself to ensure the shards would stay encased inside, only to witness it being shaken out on our sidewalk-front yard where our dog, kid & neighborhood dogs play and pass often. Would strongly advise: 1. Let your customers know further in advance what prep is required especially if you don't intend to do a thorough clean up job afterwards 2. Implement safer practices eg lay tarp inside and out around the areas glass will be broken BEFORE starting the work

They sent someone out to our house to confirm sizing and drew accurate measurements. Due to the flu, the shower door installation was a bit delayed but they were able to schedule a crew out after I followed up. The crew took 3 hours for installing but we are pleased with the work.
