    Get your guys who don't know how to drive off the road. I watched him cause almost 3 accidents due to his abrupt and careless movements on the 210 this morning.

    One of their employee literally admit to not sending the quote, and the owner trying to cover up his ass

    No call backs, no estimates...owner is a liar It's funny how on all the negative reviews, the owner Thomas just try to stir away the truth and make it look like the customer is on the wrong. I attached an email their employee sent and literally admitted to not sending the quote and you see in the owner's response saying they gave out the price right away lol...they only just sent out the estimate after seeing this review. WHAT A JOKE! And I did not ask them to drop the price, I was asking if they can clarify the labor cost, which Ryan said he will dicuss with Matt and get back to me and never called me back. The owner is the ridiculous one here, just save yourself some time and go somewhere else. I was interested in getting a patio sliding door, went to look at their show room. Scheduled an estimate with Matt. He said he would call to confirm before he come, and he did not. 20 mins before the scheduling time, I had to call them to confirm myself. Matt did the measurement and said I will get my estimate within a week via email. 1 week went by, I did not get my estimate, I called back and asked for Ryan for the estimate. He said he would discuss with Matt on the estimate, and call me back. More than 3 weeks gone by, no call backs from anyone. If they don't want my business, just say so. You can check other people's review, they don't get responses from this company either...

    Honestly I don't like to write negative reviews. But I am speechless about the owner Andy . I've been waiting for my door for the past three months and due to pandemic, like everything else the making of the door was slower than usual and the cost of the door was way more expensive than before and all these are understandable. I accepted it. But after my handyman picked up my door we notice there was a missing piece on the second window frame. So I call Andy the owner and asked him how we should resolve this. First reaction from him was it's not his company's fault it should be my Handyman's fault after picking up that piece fell off. And that this usually doesn't happen and I'm just bad luck this happened to me. Then he said he could ask service department to come to my house make that piece. But I said it was ok my handyman could prob make the piece. (I was Trying to resolve this issue ASAP. ) then I suggest him he should check the door that comes in so this doesn't happened to other customers. And he said his men does check the doors. (Believe it or not) And then the next day I called Andy asking him if there's a way to make a peep hole on the door. He told me that this should be done when I preorder my door and it's my fault not mentioning to him, therefore he didn't do this. So I askedhim, shouldn't he be the ones that ask me if I need this peep hole when I placed my order ? Instead of assuming? His answer to me was these days people have Amazon ring and surveillance cameras therefore people doesn't usually ask for this peep hole. Then he told me that my Handyman probably can make this peep hole and it's very simply done. So again my handyman have to come to my rescue. All in all Andy is not taking any responsibility on things that happened to his customer. Or it's just the customer's "luck" if the door came perfectly or imperfectly. Andy, i understand in life things happens, but please stop the blaming game and pls help resolve and understand the issues for your customers the best way you could.

Michael Crooks was very responsive as a company rep and everything he quoted was delivered just as he said. The quality of the shower is excellent and we love the Koehler fixtures. We chose black on white to assist those with visual deficits and really like how they turned out! The fold down seat is also a plus for those with endurance challenges! The demolition andinstallation team of Jose, Gabriel and Jairo could not have done a better job! They were timely, efficient and professional. They demolished the shower and tub one day and took away all the debris. Then, the next day, they built the frame and installed the new walk in shower exactly as we requested. They were pleasant to have on our property and we're considerate in where they set up their workstation and parked their trucks. We did have a challenge posed by the installation day with company coming to visit us... And they worked out a mutually agreed upon date that met our needs. I highly recommend this company.. ask for this team of installers! You won't regret it!!

Jaci was superb in…read morehelping us select and install new Milgard windows and sliding doors, and we're thrilled with the result. What truly impressed us was the follow-up service. After the installation was complete, the workers did a final inspection and noticed that one of the window panels had a small flaw and the secondary lock on the new sliding door wasn't working correctly. Jaci immediately took charge and filed a work order with Milgard to get it serviced. Milgard's team responded quickly, scheduled a visit, and fixed both issues perfectly. Not only are we saving money on energy bill, the house is now really *quiet* from the outside noises. It's one thing to have a smooth installation, but seeing how professionally and quickly both Irwindale Windows Co and Milgard'shandled a problem gives us total confidence in their work. I was very pleased with what Steve Floyd owner of California Security Screens would provide so I worked with them. Their installers were wonderful. They came at the appointed time. The installation took two days. The installers were very friendly and explained to me what they would be doing. I wanted to be sure I could key my front door with the security screen and that was taken care of. No mess was left. The screens and front door are attractive, and I feel much safer knowing no one is getting into that house that should not be there. I have given their name to others since I feel very confident with California Security Screens.

We upgraded our deadbolt and door knob ourselves, and Steve and his team worked with us on that to ensure we would not have any issues. The door and frame needed to be custom ordered, as our door was not standard size, but we spoke about both options....this seemed best for us and was completely our choice. The order was quicker than expected, and Steve and his installer were able to install it 3 weeks earlier than expected. I've attached photos as well. This is black color power coated (not paint). We wanted to still be able to see our front door, and as you can see....you definitely still can. Would buy again, and work with this company again if you want a specialty SECURE screen door.

The initial visit to their showroom was completely stress-free. There was no pushy salesperson trying to upsell us. Instead, their staff walked us through all the available options, answered every question we had, and gave us the time we needed to look everything over and make an informed decision. Once we selected our door, the scheduling process was simple and seamless. They kept us well informed about the delivery timeline and were very accommodating with our schedule. On the day of installation, our installer, Danny, arrived right on time and was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely professional, worked efficiently, and delivered excellent quality. He also left the area as clean--if not cleaner--than he found it. We truly couldn't be happier with our new door. I've already recommended Hometime to a few friends and will continue to do so. If you're in the market for doors or windows, this should absolutely be your first stop--you won't be disappointed.

    We ordered a front entry door on Nov 24th for about $6135. Unfortunately we had to wait til…read moreFebruary 4th to have it installed. We were told that the wait is due to the process of the door being made. We explained before they started that we wanted to keep the baseboard of the front door but it wasn't kept. However, the company did reimburse us for $200 for the price of the board & installation. Once we had it installed we thought we were ready to go! However, quickly we noticed within a few days that the door was not closing properly. The handle would not reset when it closed and then within a few weeks it was not working at all. I immediately contacted them on March 7th. I explained the situation and was told to take pictures as requested by Chanel (warranty correspondent). I was told that they had to order new parts from Emtec and it would take a couple of weeks. We had agreed to set it up on Monday April 6th. The service man who arrived came over and immediately noticed that the parts needed to be ordered and the correct part were not ordered. However, I was told that the door should be working. Wow, that was far from the truth because immediately the door stopped working the next day. So we're back to square 1. Our door doesn't close because the handle on the door doesn't work. In the meantime, the only thing that worked and kept the front door closed was the security latch. If not the door would be wide open. I spoke to Chanel again, she said we had to order the part again. Apparently it was not ordered last week. In the meantime, we're paying for our door about $500 each month since February and yet our front door doesn't work. If you decide to work with this company please take the amount of time and the cost into consideration.

    I'm writing to share my recent experience with Semihandmade, and strongly urge you to review other…read morebusinesses for your cabinets, they are not the same company we experienced our first time around. In 2018, we had our first project with Semihandmade, and it was outstanding. We used one of SHM recommended designers and the level of support and attention to detail was perfect; our final kitchen, pantry and laundry room were beautiful! As it turned out, our home was featured in Atomic Ranch in its 2021 Design Issue, where I spoke highly of Semihandmade in that interview. We were very proud and recommended their products and services to many people over the years. After moving to Asheville, we planned another kitchen renovation and launched that in January of 2025. Even though our former designer had moved to Modern Twig, we chose Semihandmade again based on our past experience. Unfortunately, this time has been very different. We ordered roughly $28,000 in cabinet fronts-- the largest single expense in our kitchen renovation. We understood the delivery timeline, but the order arrived in separate shipments without advance notice. When my husband (who installed both kitchens) discovered one incorrect cabinet setup and a missing drawer front, he reached out to their customer service. The response from Deanna Bade was essentially, "read your contract," which I found dismissive and frankly did not sit well with me. It was clear from our IKEA design submission that our order had been entered correctly on our side but miscoded in the SHM system. My expectation was to hear, "Sorry that happened--let us make it right." Instead, I received a lecture on treating her "like a professional" before she agreed to resolve the issue--an interaction that left me feeling unwelcome as a customer. Later, as installation progressed, we discovered that the walnut doors were noticeably different in color--clearly not from a single batch, as SHM advertising promises. When I raised this, I was told replacement would require approval from the "walnut manufacturer" and would be done as a "courtesy remake." I had to remind her that Semihandmade--not a third party--was my point of purchase and that this was a quality control failure, not a favor. This caused weeks of delay, but even after the replacements arrived, there was no follow-up to confirm receipt, check color consistency, or offer an apology by Deanna or SHM customer service, only a request to do a survey. I am shocked and saddened at the decline of Semihandmade whom I have raved about for years. Given Deanna Bade describes herself as "Customer Experience Manager with a proven track record in resolving complex issues and driving customer satisfaction", she did not execute at this level at all. I realize this must be a very hard job if there is a lot of customer dissatisfaction with product and operations (which seems to be possible based on reviews), and if that is the case, this ultimately is a reflection on Semihandmade's commitment as a company to quality of product and services. Given the strong competition in this industry, I would think this is not the quality of product SHM wants to deliver or the standard of service SHM want for their customers. Mistakes happen, but a willingness to "bend over backwards" to correct them makes all the difference. Sadly, even after the new walnut order arrived, given the delay in time we realized we could not rip out our entire kitchen and start all over, so the previous construction with panels, built in shelving, etc. that had begun had to stay the same and will always be slightly off in color, a forever reminder. I reached out to the CEO, John McDonald, who did respond and apologized, which was good; but did not offer to compensate us for our customer stress, delay or final mixed matched cabinetry (although I did not ask for one either) - my point was to ensure at the top he knew how much SHM had fallen in my eyes. I've gone from being one of their strongest advocates to feeling I can no longer recommend Semihandmade. I hope my experience helps SHM to identify areas to improve both quality control and customer care, but mostly that you as a customer like me is warned and seriously looks at all the other options before you purchase from this company, I wish we had.

    I called Pasadena Screens on Tuesday, July 16 at 12:55pm because i'm looking to have window screens…read moremade. No one answered, so I left a voicemail. I waited a few hours, didn't hear back, so decided to call again at 2:23pm same day. I spoke with a nice man who said they could come by next day (Wednesday) around 5pm. I told him I was hoping to have the screens made by Thursday, and he said that should be no problem as they can usually make them next day. He mentioned they don't usually service Silver Lake, but said he would come by on his way out / home from work. He said something of that sort. Either way, we made an appointment and he confirmed it. Wednesday at 5pm rolls around and no one has showed up yet. I waited until 5:30pm, still nothing. I call, no one answers, I leave a voicemail. Today, Now Thursday, still no call back. I call them, someone picks up, I explain all of the above, and the man on the phone never once apologizes, puts me on hold and says "Yeah we don't service Silver Lake, are you sure it was us?". Basically, doesn't believe me. But i'm certain it was this location. The number I called 4 times over the last few days was (626) 795-8782. This is listed on my call log 4 times, and is also the number listed on their yelp account. I love supporting small businesses and took a risk with this one because they only have a few reviews. Not sure what happened here, but Pasadena Screens, you need to get it together and also learn to apologize when you've messed up. It goes a long way and would have prevented me from writing this review. Also, return people's calls when they leave you voicemails! I left 2 voicemails and neither were acknowledged or returned. Also including a screenshot of my call log because I'm sure they will respond and say they have never heard from me before :)

Let me tell you that some companies quotes were near the 12000 range! When visiting these companies they didn't even have stock.. which of course means they are most likely purchasing cheaper and reselling to you.. Not Jimmy, Jimmy was amazing since I stopped in his office. Immediately he was so welcoming and has a HUGE warehouse full of front doors ( not just doors he is ordering from somewhere else) His price also beat these prices but literally almost HALF.. It was a week before labor day weekend and I really wanted the doors installed before the weekend holiday and he was able to get them installed for me! Another note, after getting the doors installed my kids somehow locked my dogs outside for some time and they scratched our front door pretty bad ... Jimmy came by and fixed the scratches for me within a few days.. Thank you so much Jimmy and Discount doors! I cant recommend you enough!
