I needed some work done on my banister at home; I wanted to bring it up to code. Carlo and his team we're able to give me a good estimate and explanation of what could be done. The pricing was reasonable and straight forward. They were able to remove my banister even with a small hiccup of not having access to the bolts underneath my sub-flooring. They ended up having to cut the banister post to remove it. The workers were able to adapt and make the removal happen. The time for adding the additional bars to the banister took a bit longer than expected. However, the end result of the metal banister, sand blasted and painted, turned out really nice. They reinstalled the banister by welding the post back on. They did the touch ups. We we're pretty satisfied with the work. Carlo inspected the work and noticed some minor mistakes and offered to discount the price, he wanted to be sure that we we're satisfied. Which we we're so I didn't bother. read more

Don't use. Try calling him in a year if anything goes wrong and he won't return your calls or fix it. Also still waiting for the Certification for the paint after 2 yrs. Save your money and you can find someone honest and better customer oriented out there. read more

Carlo Garcia who is the owner of Surepro Home Solutions is unprofessional, incompetent and has misrepresented himself and his business. He pressured me to sign a contract with him for a bathroom remodel when in fact he has no experience with remodeling of any sort. I didn't do my homework on him or his company - BIG EXPENSIVE MISTAKE. He literally lied about everything and at the end, I am left with an incomplete botched and shoddy bathroom. Fortunately, I kept a good trail of his lies to prove he is a complete conman so I was able to report him to the CSLB. His only business is windows and according to YELP he's not good at that either. He hired day laborers who he claimed were "expert professionals and experienced in building large homes". When it came time to waterproofing my bathroom I had to tell his workers how to do it (showed them DIY videos). The scariest part was he tried to use a plastic liner instead of hot mop even though he promised me he would hot mop the shower. Fortunately, I was able to WFH and I watched their every move and caught them. I found out after that hot mop costs him money ($600-$1500) so it makes clear sense why he was trying to use a $70 plastic liner instead. The safety of my home and the risk involved by not doing hot mop didn't matter to him. Short cuts and stealing money is his only priority. When it came time to tiling the bathroom the workers had less than zero experience. They ruined all the tiles and marble because they didn't properly measure or cut the material. My floors are completely uneven, and you can trip from the places they have uneven tiles. His foreman Juan didn't speak any English and was the laziest person on the planet. His wife Christina did all the work while he sat in my garage and listened to music the entire time. My shower looks like a 10-year-old slapped on the tiles and marble. Carlo never once came to look at the work and make sure it was being done properly. Only when he needed more money then, he would show up. I should have known he had no experience when he promised me that it would take only 7 days to remodel a bathroom. I am a single mom and a first-time homeowner and a perfect target for this conman. He doesn't have any business doing remodeling. The first day they started the work he came to take my money he sees my car and says "wow you drive that I should have charged you more". Who says this? Carlo Garcia went out of his way to make my life a living hell for over 20 days. He doesn't care about his work or the safety of the lives he's ruining with his lies. At the end of his horrible experience I know more about bathroom remodeling then he ever will. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS GUYS BS as I did. I hope someone treats him the way he treated and scammed me for over $10k!!! read more

I had some very bad experiences with some of the companies I had quote me on painting our house. Mostly from extremely disrespectful and high pressure salesmen. Carlo was a breath of fresh air. He is professional, straightforward and communicates very well. Carlo did exactly what I wanted which was "Here's what we're gonna do, here's why it's a good idea, here's the time frame. I'll charge you a reasonable price" SurePro actually cost far less than the quotes I had from other high end painters, which was a feather in my cap. The painters that actually came out to do the work were courteous and unobtrusive. Their quality of work was top notch and they completed the work in the time frame given (there were some weather delays and Thanksgiving was also in there). After having dealt with MANY different contractors since owning my home, SurePro was by far the easiest and most reasonable to work with. Highly recommended. read more

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! I had him do some work on my house about 2 years ago now, and I have had to call him back 3 times! I had the house painted which I just started to notice is starting to peel and some small cracks are showing up. I was told I would never have to paint again, that it was lifetime, but from the looks of it most likely won't be lifetime, not even close! Supposedly I was going to receive a certificate for the paint acknowledging the guarantee of the paint for life but I never got anything! I also had my balcony reroofed (torched) and the railings all redone, but I had to call him back shortly after the work was done because the wood on the railing was coming apart and there was also a leak coming into the garage on another part of the balcony, so 2 different problems here. He came and fixed the wood on the railing first, then a few months later they finally came out to fix the the first leak. Well now the railing is coming apart again in the exact same spot where he had to come back and repair it and is doing the same thing, splitting open and nails literally just popping out! That caused water to get into my garage during all the rain we just had and I'm not talking about a small leak or couple of drops, it was really raining in my garage! I called him and even sent a video and he said it was possible that it was something else which is not true because I never had that problem before the work was done. It's like it got worse after the work. I had someone else come look at it recently and sure enough water is coming in through the open cracks on the railing and seeping into my garage. He did come and tarp it back in January but no one has come out since. During all this time his response is very slow almost like he doesn't want to be bothered. I mean he did already get paid so why come back right?? I'm not even going to call him anymore, I'm just going to have to pay someone else to fix it which I already have, so now that means I'm paying double for the work and fixing his mistakes! I get that your busy but your customers should always come first! I also learned that there are no guarantees with him no matter what he says! As far as a person he's a pretty cool guy but just has bad customer service and to many call backs and this whole thing was just a big headache! So unfortunately I would not recommend his company, do your research first and don't just go with the first contractor, which was my mistake. Would not even put one star. read more
