Subject: Serious Safety Complaint - Company Vehicle Nearly Caused Collision on Highway 101…read more I am writing to report a serious safety incident involving one of your company vehicles. On September 29, 2026, at approximately 5:45 PM, I was traveling northbound on Highway 101 near the Golf Course Drive West exit (Exit 484) in Rohnert Park, California, during rush-hour traffic. A white company truck was traveling directly alongside my vehicle when the driver began attempting to merge into my lane. Because traffic was heavy and moving closely together, I had no safe space to move over or swerve to avoid the truck. I immediately honked my horn to alert the driver that my vehicle was already occupying the lane. Despite the horn, the truck continued moving into my lane and toward my vehicle. The driver continued attempting to merge into my lane, leaving me with no safe alternative. I had to brake abruptly to create enough space for the truck to move into my lane and prevent it from hitting my vehicle. Had I not braked, the truck would have struck my vehicle. This was an extremely dangerous situation, particularly because it occurred on a busy freeway during rush hour. There was very limited room for evasive action, and I was forced to take immediate action to prevent what appeared to be an imminent collision. I was able to take a photograph of the vehicle following the incident. The photograph shows the white Ford truck, the company identification displayed on the vehicle, and its license plate. I am attaching the photograph to assist with identifying the vehicle and driver. I am requesting that your company investigate this incident and review any available GPS, vehicle, dispatch, or other records associated with this truck at approximately 5:45 PM on September 29, 2026. I also ask that the driver's conduct be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to help prevent a similar incident from occurring. It was almost like a total remodel since I have an open floor plan - living room, dining room and kitchen are one great room. He also redid all of the first floor lighting, totally elevating the design of my home. New engineered wood floors throughout the first floor as well. He was fast, on time, efficient. As I heard horror stories from friends on their remodels, I was especially grateful to have Guy. Literally every day someone was working on the house - whether it was dry wall or electricians or plumbing or the floor guys. I was able to stay in the house during the remodel since my bedroom is upstairs and we hung in the yard and grilled for a substitute kitchen. The crew removed a pure copper cap from my perapet wall and never returned it or replaced it. The tile guy worked at night by the light of his smartphone for God knows what reason. It appears that Will never measured the necessary space to park my car in its space of 20 years. My car now no longer fits in its space in my garage! Despite the house having been refitted a few years ago with all-copper pipe, Will's crew changed some bathroom piping with PVC plastic pipe without my prior knowledge or consent and later, when I pointed this out, Will responded that it was too late to fix it because the drywall and the tile would have to be removed. CXC also changed out some bathroom fixtures for ultra modern fixtures that we did not choose or approve for this century-old lovingly-curated home. Will even employed his own wife instead of a quality painting professional to finish interior painting on my classic 100-year-old Hollywood Hills home There were so many problems with this job, I'm too annoyed to type them all. Will loves to brag about what he claims are "great reviews" here and on other social media. Count me as feeling ripped off. We are extremely satisfied with the work that was done and we highly recommend Mark and Rob to anyone considering any home remodeling or renovation work. 1) Responsiveness - We called several contractors with mixed results. Some were busy and not able to take on another job. Some just didn't even bother to return our calls, emails or text messages. However, Mark responded promptly and we set-up at date and time for him to drop by. Throughout the course of the job, whenever we had any questions, Mark responded quickly to address our concerns. 2) Punctuality & Reliability - Mark arrived on time on the day we had set-up for him to come by to assess the job and provide the estimate for the work. Once the job was started, Mark and his brother Rob always arrived on time each day to start the job. In fact, Mark arrived early each morning and parked outside before I left each day. 3) Pricing - The estimate Mark provided was competitive with other estimates we obtained. Mark gave the good recommendations and his approach for the repair and remodeling work. In fact, Mark provided several options as to the scope of the job and the grade and prices of materials, such as fixtures, wall and floor tiles, which we could select to fit our budget. We really appreciated that Mark stated that we should not spend more than a certain amount for the wall and floor tiles. 4) Quality of workmanship - Both Mark and Rob are very "hands-on" and they did all the carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work, not assigned to subcontractors. After the job was started, we could see they were truly the professional craftsmen, who took pride in their work. They did not rush the job and took the necessary time to ensure that everything was done properly and to the homeowner's satisfaction. 5) Others - Over the course of the several weeks and months for the bathroom and kitchen jobs to be completed, we got to know both Mark and Rob much better. They are both very easy going, extremely honest and humble. We did not hesitate to leave them to their work, while we left to do our errands! I am familiar with another high pressure home services contractor, who does a lot of advertisements with the saying "good deeds for free". Well we experienced this first hand with Mark & Rob. One weekend, I had a flat tire, but the tire store was not open. So on the Monday morning, I was waiting for the AAA tow truck to come take my car to the tire store. I explained to Mark and Rob what happened. Then my wife comes in to tell me that Mark and Rob are outside with their compressor putting air into the flat and checking to see where the puncture is located!!! It turned out to be a very small puncture and after they put air into the tire, I could have driven to the tire store, but the tow truck had arrived.

We hoped to do the kitchen in March 2020, but something happened that delayed the job until this year. From Feb-April, Mark and his brother did a full kitchen remodel -- and it began with very carefully replacing the horrible electrical wiring and old piping we had in the kitchen. They were careful to show us all the issues and run any extra work (there was a lot) past us, and always were clear about cost and time--exactly what you hope for in having work done: clarity, communication, professionalism. Over the course of a few weeks, they did everything: fixed the electrical, fixed quite a bit of plumbing, installed new cabinets and countertops and lighting, had a great tile guy put in a gorgeous tile floor and backsplashes, painted, installed floating shelves and a new sink and disposal, put in a subfloor, fixed our doorframes ... really they did everything. The kitchen now vs. how it was in the past is amazing: from something that was dangerous and not particularly functional to modern, elegant, highly usable. (And we recently had a plumbing issue in our laundry room, and Mark came out, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it -- in literally a day and a half, and it included opening a wall and replacing pipes. Great work, thorough, pretty quick.) Beyond that, Mark is a great communicator, very conscientious, and fairly priced. He does great work. Trustworthy, honest, hard-working.
