What impressed us right away was Ben's friendliness, and skill at explaining the process and steps he would take to build our driveway. He made sure to involve us in any decisions that needed to be made. Since we wanted to widen the driveway, he said he could demo part of the brick planter and reroute it to give us more space. We asked for handrails up to our porch and he got us just the color and shape we asked for. We were so pleased with his work that we added on the rebuilding of our backyard planter that was falling apart. Ben and his team worked extremely hard every day, and Ben was on site from early morning to quitting time, just as he promised he'd be. They cleaned up the site every afternoon before leaving. He responded quickly to text messages and phone calls and always kept us updated on anything that came up. Working with Ben was a dream and I felt so confident about his work that I never worried about anything. I had a small (under $3,000) job I…read morewas looking to have done to install pavers over ~90 SF to extend my existing concrete patio. I'd never done anything like this and didn't know where to start. I had read that small jobs are tough to get people to do and was worried I would have to get a less professional company than what I ended up with. I went on Angie's list and punched in the rough project. Francisco (owner) texted me within an hour late in the evening to ask me about the project. That quick communication was indicative of how he does business. Very responsive to all questions. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, talking me through different options. For a project of this size I was expecting to have to use precast pavers, but Francisco told me they could pour custom ones on-site, which was perfect because I had an irregular layout to cover. I expected the cost to be a fair bit more, but it was consistent with a quote I got from one other company for using precast pavers. So I got to choose the size, layout, color and the finish of the pavers, for very fair pricing. He even suggested I could demo the existing concrete and redo the whole patio at a reasonable price to make it more consistent, but never felt like he was upselling me, just talking me through options. He also mentioned that I could seal the pavers myself rather than paying someone to do it, and told me how I could paint some other concrete in the area that was getting stained. The project itself went off without a hitch. He scheduled us within a week, and the job took two days. His men Leo and Angel were very punctual (arriving before 8am both days), efficient and conscientious workers. They had excavated the area and framed the pavers within a half day. The next morning I told them it needed to be reworked a little bit and they did that no problem. The concrete was mixed and poured, and the area cleaned by the time I got home from work. In summary, Camberos Masonry did a job I could only get one other company to quote on, with a great service level and very high quality offering, and a very reasonable price. I wouldn't think twice before using them again for future projects and would highly recommend them.

He provided multiple quotes for different scopes of work. Detailing what would be required for each and allowing me to decide what was best for my needs and budget. Work started on schedule. As invariably happens, they ran into a hiccup once digging started. My existing wall had no footing whatsoever! We took our some cabinets, and needed to fill in a large section of pavers. We needed it to match and look as seamless as possible. I had doubts as to whether this could be done at all. They took extra pavers we already had- that we had stored poorly and they were very weathered and dirty, and other companies said couldn't be used. (The specific pavers are no longer are in production though) Cement Kings used these, cleaned them thoroughly with special solution, cut them to fit, and did it in such a way that it didn't look like a block had been replaced. We had also had them re-sand and re-seal the entire patio of pavers. It looks fantastic. They moved all of our heavy furniture out of the way, and later put it all back neatly, even taking care to dust it off. So reliable, professional, easy to work with, and willing to go above and beyond. Also the "Cement King" is so nice - even welcomed my curious little observer to "help" him (see photo!).
